TikTok star Lucy Edwards was just 17 when she lost her eyesight due to a rare condition, meaning that suddenly she had to learn how to navigate the world again. But after finding unexpected strength in sharing her journey online, Lucy became a viral sensation, now with over 1.8 million followers on TikTok. Today she joins us to discuss her new memoir part self-help guide, Blind Not Broken, her recent ‘sensory’ wedding, and her newlywed podcast.

I've been following Lucy for ages, but forget she had to relearn a lot of things after going blind at 17 'need to re learn to do me toast'. She's so capable now but imagine suddenly not being able to do yourself a brew and toast of a morning, and having to trust a dog to guide you to the bus which you were able to do for years.

is the book avalible for blind people . i say that because there is a script book that is Braille books . i think this would be great for those who need comfort if they have gone blind
