Please don't put down all priests. There is a 80/20 proportion, in generalization. Don't let the 20% bad eggs color your view of the 80% good priests around. As an occultist, you should the know the power of thought which you alluded to earlier in this very video.
Further, the sharad takes a lot out of the priests who perform the various pujas and play the various parts during the ceremonies.

Appreciate your comments and observations. Priests do have a role to play, I admit. In my experience and interactions I found very few with a genuine occult knowledge but then it is quite possible that I did not get in touch with the right ones. Most of them that I know had a knowledge of the rituals and the mantras but neither of the principle or the science behind it. This, I feel becomes a handicap in real time application of these truths. The more we understand the principle the more one can develop this science and discover new and novel ways of application. Else there is a tendency for things to degrade into superstition. It is a Science and should be treated as such and for that one needs to focus on the essence as much as the details.
