100 thanks for posting this! I've been to both Steamtown and the Trolley Museum about half a dozen times, had a chance to ride on a steam loco footplate and enjoy several of the trolleys I rode when growing up near Upper Darby PA. Pretty cool that a couple of the Red Arrow cars are still collecting fares when the serve PNC Field.
1:38 Love how this trolley runs through an urban forest with buildings to one side near where the city parks their ambulances then crosses streets then into urban forest.
Technically the overhead is "trolley wire" not catenary. Catenary is a more complicated electric overhead with suspension wire, suspenders, and contact wire; all this system is is contact wire.
I love the old trolleys. The best!
excellent video. i took this ride several years ago, and it was nice to take it again through watching. great job

Thanks for info.... I learned something new in the trolley verbiage... safe travels
Good ride. Be better without the music.
Motorman is "fanning" a self lapping brake!
what does that mean?
No need for such rapid fanning even if the brake was not self-lapping.
Somebody tell the operator that the brake is self-lapping air!
Why the annoying music???
