Love this. I dream of hiking in Abruzzo in the next few years. (And the music is fine to me. Feels inspirational and quests).

A magic place i used to go every now and then, Rocca Calascio was a military fortification to keep under control the old french way (via francigena). They asked for tax and kept bundaries under control.

Thanks for your comment! That's so interesting!! I'm hoping to walk the Via Francigena from the UK to home here in Abruzzo very soon...possibly the year after next! Fingers crossed!! Watch this space!

My husband said the same thing, but I think that it's subjective...however if you have any suggestions for better music I'd definitely be willing to give it a go! Thanks for your feedback!

In general the paths in Abruzzo are well signed...this route has a clear path as well and is a busy trail so you can't really go wrong! 😊
