HI grannies! Yes, they can speak English. Till's other band, Lindemann, perform in English. As for Mein Teil, you are correct it means 'my part' and it is slang for a man's 'part' too. The song is inspired by German cannibal Armin Meiwes... who found a willing victim online. After attempting to eat the victim's 'part' together, Meiwes killed and ate him... hence the lyrics "You are what you eat... my part". The distorted speech as the song begins is the text of Meiwes's online ad: "looking for a normally-built 18- to 25-year-old to be slaughtered and then consumed."
Brandes the victim wanted to be destroyed he really wanted to die on the most cruel way possible... Meiwes couldn't deliver so he just died due blood loss in a bed after they both ate the "part" together, but its unknown if Brandes was really dead...he is sentenced as a "murderer" without murdering someone because they had other points of manslaughter they could prove to judge him

When I saw Rammstein a few years ago, they did this song but it was even more epic. After the flamethrower to the pot, there was a giant explosion. I was sitting decently far from the stage and I could still feel the warmth.

This is a song about a man in Germany who searched for another man who wanted to be eaten. He did and he has served most of his sentence. He gets released this year I believe.

I understand why most people just go for the live clips. But their videos are stunning pieces of art.

They’re amazing in the lengths they go to put on a great performance. Even though Till is a very good trained pyrotechnic, anything could go wrong at any time. Also, to answer a question you had, Till does speak English. The song Amerika by Rammstein he sings some of it in English. Amerika was one of the first songs I heard from Rammstein. I took German in High School and my teacher, used it and several other Rammstein songs in lessons.
@@kyledepaepe194 we thought about doing Deutschland several times and we have done several by Rammstein and they are very protective of their work. We have several on the channel, but we’ve had several blocked too so we haven’t quite decided to do it or not. Maybe someday soon we’ll give it a shot. I love all their performances that involve fire, Feuer Frei with flamethrower masks, Du Hast and Du Riescht So Gut with firework bow and the one's on the guitarists' arms. Asche zu Asche with burning microphones, Benzin where a stuntman playing the role of a stage invader is set on fire by Till, and Mein Teil of course.
Rammstein never falls to amaze. They’re such great showmen. All the time pyrotechnics are flying, they’re playing their instruments too. Absolutely unbelievable. Keep on rocking babies. ✌🏻🎶🤘🏻

Actually Flake, the Keyboarder and guy in the kettle, wrote a book. "Today the world has birthday" where he tells a lot of stories about being a member of Rammstein. One is about the kettle scene. He once got burn marks on his hands, but not from the pyrotechnics. He burned his hand on one of the spotlights inside the kettle. ;)

When I saw them in 2010, they’d done a variation of Flake in a tub on fire but to the song “Ich tu dir weh”. You can see that from their Madison Square Garden, NYC, 2010 show. (It was an amazing show.) The original video for the song “Ich tu dir weh”, has Till with a light in his mouth while he sings. Till wanted it to look authentic, so he literally had his cheek pierced to have the light/wire inserted. It’s a very cool look. 💜

Flake, they guy in the pot, has to wear gloves to get out of the pot, at the end of the song. The first time he didn't und burned his fingertips on the hot metal. The guy wrote two biographies and both of them are awesome and hilarious.

Seen them live just once unfortunately, but their live show is like a Michael Bay movie. Fire, pyro and special effects all over the damn place!! The experience of Rammstein live is amazing!!! Its truely a fantastic vibe and the mixture between live music and theatre/special effects is just perfect!

Mein Teil was actually inspired by the Cannibal Case of Armin Meiwes, who killed and then ate Parts of his Victim that´s why it´s called My Part. His Victim was a so called Long Pig, a Person who wants to be eaten...

The most recent live performance of this involves FLAKE also being roasted by a massive flame throwing cannon AFTER he escapes the cooking in the pot (he does have flameproof clobber on, but still quite something)

I saw them live in Prague las tour, and they performed this, and it was just so breathtaking and really hot. And yes, they speak English, Till speask also russian and some spanish.

Hey there grannies! Yeah they do speak English. But as far as I know only Till and Richard (the lead guitarist, the one always wearing something black and red) speak English fluently. They both have side projects and both are developed mostly in English. So if you ever get the chance to talk to any of them you’ll have no problems.

Rammstein has decided to do 2 shows instead of just 1 to accomodate their huge fanbase here in The Netherlands. This time I was one of the first in line to get a front row seat ticket (well, not actually seats, but you know what I mean). Not cheap, but hey, it's still not sure if I can travel this year so I got to spend my money on something right? I'll pick up on my USA travels from where I left in 2019 soon. Anyway, I will make sure to keep you rockin' ladies posted on the Rammstein show. You take care now and rock hard!

I believe Till can speak English, Spanish & Russian. And the song translates 2 different ways. “My Part” or “My Thing”. I believe when translated into English “my thing” makes more sense. The song was written about a man in Germany who wanted to eat a person. He met another guy on the internet who’s desire was to be eaten alive. The band Bloodbath also wrote a song inspired by that real event called “Eaten”. A movie was also based on the event called “Grim Love”

Been to 4 Rammstein concerts(3 Festivals, 1 tour-concert), also this specific one(Im somewhere in the crowd there :-D This concert was by far the best of the 4 I saw. The whole Band was a little "loose" and I guess tipsy. They talked to the crowd and got some booze and cheered to the crowd wit hit. It was quite fun. Things they normaly don't do.

Rammstein can totally speak English, however they choose not to generally because they were told that they'd have to speak English in order to entertain audiences here in the states, to which they responded "fuck you! we are German und we are gonna SING in German, anyone who has a problem with that? don't listen!" and people like me were like "hell yeah man, i cant understand German but i LOVE this!" so they are a huge success yet are very devoted to their fans who let them be who they are, German.

Does that mean in French while in France & Italian while in Italy and so on and so on? I was really just curious to know if I were ever fortunate to talk to Till, if he spoke English.
