You could see that Smith caused Hunt to fall (I don't think it was intentional). Barnes made the wrong decision. Either Smith should have been out or all 4 back in, but not Hunt excluded.
terrible ref. In the original race, Mavis caused the problems and penalised himself. The race should never have been stopped. Second time, you can see Smith and Hunt hook up. All four back. Third time, Smith had outside assistance and should be excluded, especially since he was a home rider being touched by home track staff. (If it had been an away rider and the home track staff rushed to touch him and get him excluded, I might give him the benefit)

I think he turned the bike early entering the bend going for a cut back not realising that the guy in blue off 4 already cut to the inside line.
