Always admired A&C 's pond, beutifull koi, like the big ivy growing up the fence, safety first, as Lau said should be wearing them goggles when cutting the grass, you never know when a mushroom 🍄 could fly up and hit you 😁

i used to run a bottom drain in a liner pond at my old property but after ten years it leaked so had to replace it which was a huge task with 2500 gallons of water and large koi housed in a temp swimming pool for three weeks!. Replaced the bottom drain and then still had problems with ground movement on my pond returns which were set in concrete!. whether it be fibre glass or pond liner the seal ends up leaking in the end not saying bottom drains dont a better job because the do but if things go tits up your up the creek without a paddle mate so stay pump fed now and with new drum filters and your upflow filters :) you dont need big settlement chambers like a vortex anymore so pump fed is for me ;)

A&C ‘s pond is beautiful, a refreshing change from the modern raised ponds we all seem to be building at the minute👍😊. Loving the finding nemo face mask👍😂. That’s one heck of a vacuum stand but clearly works. Do you need your chest waders on to mow the lawn? What do you think is living in the grass🤣. Great video, Jeff, pond looking lovely, I have a pind vac, gonna do the return box thing,, great idea, my pond is raised so will have to make a stand, love your videos, I'm having loads of issues at mo lost three fish, after rebuilding my pergola I've had flukes and now gill flukes, just ordered some polycarbonate for a roof, I've got rid of the algea and little sludge, then as I was vacuuming the pind my goshiki decided to die, that's when I found gill flukes, I also have three huge diamond back sturgeon and fat George is going mental cos of the treatment, nightmare but I think he has calmed a bit, I'm gonna revac, all hapoened when I took the roof down of the old pergola and built the new one, hopefully when polycarbonate goes on things will improve, lost so many fish over the last four years heart breaking, I clean and clean then improve but still issues, grrrrrrrr, can't give up, takes time I do shift work so a struggle but my set up is the best I've had yet,

Don't cut the mushrooms as the spores will spread and you will get them all over the lawn , pull them out and that should fix it . Shows you have good quality grass though !!

@@ACKoi yeah we have two dogs and i just make sure i pick it up before it starts cutting, it's set on a timer to cut at night using the app. The ride on mower needed replacing and we thought we would try the robot as it was cheaper (tight git 🤣).
