Best review I have seen so far for this machine! Especially the part on pre-heating the portofila. Quality beans and proper grind are a must everyone - don't cheap out and miss a better shot! Starbucks will grind their espresso beans for you no charge if you don't have a grinder.

Make sure you ask for them to grind it on the espresso setting! :]

Firstly, awesome review. Thank you. It was just what I was looking for (and, too, we own an Airstream so this will be perfect for the small space we have).
But on another note, I surely wouldn't have Starbucks grind my coffee. They use conventional coffee. Conventional coffee is THE most sprayed crop on the planet (it's astonishing how many people don't know this). If you're not drinking organic coffee, you're getting a slurry of chemicals in your coffee drinks every single time you drink it. And even IF you take organic coffee to Starbucks to grind, it is tainting your coffee with their toxic coffee. Bad idea.
And regarding the Jordon's Skinny Syrup being used in this demo, look at the ingredients. It's nothing but garbage/chemicals. People ARE waking up to how they're being poisoned via the mainstream food source and other products, but it's still shocking to see so many who aren't awake to this. Thankfully, RFK Jr. will have his hand in all of this and will change our country for the better in this regard. Until then, it would behoove people to simply be mindful of what they're putting into their bodies. Read labels.
If interested, Monin makes a much healthier version of a coffee syrup:
      tinyurl.com/2j5xp2nz
And there are other "healthier" coffee syrups on Amazon besides Monin. You just have to search organic coffee syrups and you'll find them. No chemicals, just real ingredients.

Thanks for this review and demonstration. I just got one and wondered about the noises it makes. Apparently all normal.

Question regarding tamper size. I have been also wanting to purchase some accessories for when I purchase my CasaBrews CM5418 (haven't yet purchased) but there seems to be a discrepancy on the actual size of the tamper. I understand you make mention that yours is 51mm. When I search the info on the product's page on Amazon, it tells me it's 58mm. Would you be able to clarify? I'm just wanting to make sure I purchase the correct size tamper, distributor, and dosing funnel. Many thanks!

Sure, no problem. Here is the tamper I bought:
      amzn.to/43frVBc
I just double checked with caliper and it is indeed 51mm. Maybe they have a typo on their specs on Amazon? Or maybe they are measuring to the outside of portafilter? I wouldn't expect them to change the size mid-production. Hope this helps!

Excellent. I can ditch the k-cup machine now, that we use in the camper.

I got mine three days ago, love it... better with an automatic milk frother... richer and thick flavor when making a cappuccino or café latte.
