Man, teaching is a lost art :/ You guys are exceptionally talented in simplifying perplex information and teaching it in a way that is understandable to all. No matter how long these videos are, I know I'm not wasting time because I will fully understand everything by the end. Kudos to you guys for being a resource for higher learning students across the world struggling. Your hard work doesn't go unnoticed!
I don't usually comment, but this is exception. I have my biochemistry exam next week and must learn 400+ pages. This videos are lifesavers! I'm a visually learning type of person and your style of teaching brings all this to a whole new level for me. Thank you and God bless you. Greeting from Croatia.
I'm an older guy who is not at all scientific, but stumbled across your channel some months ago and have found your lectures fascinating. I just pick one and watch it to death...probably 20 or so times and then move onto another one. After a while I start to understand where each one is going and I then can start to appreciate just how amazing these functions and mechanisms really are. I wouldn't have thought it possible that anyone could retain this amount of information and disseminate it in such a fluent and digestible way...what a talent you have! I Stopped buying a TV license several years ago as I find video series like this so much more stimulating than a lot of the BBC output. I don't know why Google doesn't launch distance learning qualifications with such a wealth of incredible material. They could rival the likes of the Open University and it would be great if they could undercut the Universities making further education a bit more affordable for people in their 50's like me who are still curious and want to remain stimulated and challenged. Thanks so much, I really enjoy your work!!
I am a Biochemist and Immunologist by profession; I found this lecture pretty amazing. You have explained glycolysis and its regulation in a wonderful way. Keep it up, buddy!
Thank you for providing your assessment of this video. As a learner just for fun at 65 years old, it's good to know that the information being presented is correct.
I'm a first-year dental student and I wish you were my biochem professor. All year long I couldn't focus on this dry subject but your videos helped a lot. The way you explain the pathways in order is so helpful for visual learners. Please keep making more videos.
“This is where your death awaits you” 💀 Hilarious how he knows exactly what we are feeling. This part of the video is exactly why I came for your rescue. You’re amazing. Thank you so much! ❤
I am just watching this out of interest in the topic and I am so glad that I don't actually have to remember any of this. Good luck to everyone who has to know this or write an exam on it soon!
'woo this marker stinks' 😁 I love all these little ninja nerdisms in your videos, brings some human into teaching such complex topics. Your lectures have saved my brain, I have ADHD and reading six pages of text with no visuals to try and explain this process was NOT working at all for me. If you teach in a school/university they are very lucky to have you
I just wanted to tell you how much I appreciate your videos. Yesterday I felt a little bit down after underperforming on an Enzymology exam and I was demotivated to study the overwhelming amount of information for Metabolism. I couldn't see the light at the end of the tunnel, until I remembered your channel. I started watching all your video's and everything suddenly clicked and became clear, because I'm a visual learner. I went from being totally unmotivated to enjoying studying Metabolism. And I know I'm not the only one, you keep on helping tons of students around the world, thanks for that!
I would like to wish you all the best. I'm learning for my own interest and I would hate to be tested on this type of thing. It's great that videos like this are available to help both the serious student and the casual learners.
Med student from Italy here and I'd be LOST without your vids. I was struggling a lot with my biochem exam until I found you, so thank you so much for the help! You're a life saver!
man you are literally very creative... you have the best teaching skills ive seen so far... maintain your awesomeness bro ;-]... thanks for being in youtube... u are really a boon for many students incl. me.. keepit up
I just want to say thank you for all the help. I’m currently in grad school and Biochemistry is kicking my butt, but thanks to your videos I am finally understanding it. It says a lot when you are a better teacher than a graduate professor. Anyways, thank you 💛
professor you're truly gifted with this amazing explaining ability. you make everything perfectly clear. I had listened to the recording of the lecture of my class 3 times but still had questions and you suddenly made it the easiest subject ever. don't know how to thank you enough!
I cant believe how active i was watching this video. I watched a lecture video from my teacher that was about the same time and i swore it felt like i was watching it for hours. Watching yours to review, and it went by so fast ! Thank you! I was even laughing throughout !
ANOTHER person who learned more in a 30 min video than weeks of reading the freaking book. Also, every time he says "ninja nerds," it sounds like he's saying "engineers." Anyone?
These videos are pure gold!! I am actually preparing for entering veterinary medicine, so all this is way more detailed than what I need to know for the exam, but the way you explain it so logically helps me to learn faster, rather than just memorizing sentences like "glucose is transformed into 2 molecules of pyruvate, that are going to be transformed in acetyl CoA and from there results 2 ATP molecules". Somehow, having the details explained well, helps actually remember the essence. Your channel is brilliant!!
You’re my life saver! These videos make biochemistry so much easier than it seems to be. I’ll surely survive from final exams because of you. Thanks a lot. You’re a genius! Greetings from Thailand :D
I'm currently studying medicine in my fourth language (which is a heck of a challenge honestly) and your lectures are an awesome support for a much clearer understanding of... well, everything! thank you so much!
Had the channel recommended to me by my biochemistry professor! Amazing at what you do and I appreciate the effort put forth in helping others. Thank you!
Each episode takes me a day or two to really sit and think about, but i'm really learning more than even my college course biology. Truly understanding, not just memorizing.
Thank youuu, I’m constantly telling my friends to watch you.. I’m an Egyptian medical student and whenever my non-arabic speaker friends struggle in biochemistry, embryology... I tell them about you!! Keep going
Grateful for you and your team for getting to explain complex information under 30 minutes. Teaching truly is an art form, not everyone can be good at it. Your videos both help and motivate me, I'll be around for a long time for sure!
All of this. It's beautiful. The fact that I finally understand it after nearly 7 months of trying, it's the best. And it's all because of these lectures. You're the best.
Thank you for your passion, and especially for the special videos about *regulation* 😊 That‘s why warming up when transitioning to physical (muscle cell focused metabolism) activity *makes sense* 🙏
I just started med school over a month ago. Our first course is about cell structure and functions and metabolism. Most people on my study group watch your videos and you explain these so well! Thank you!
You teach three chapters of a complex book in half an hour!!! And with no less information, thank you so much. I miss professors like you in universities, that actually teach and draw and explain... Keep doing this😁😁😁😁 Hugs from Brazil 🇧🇷
What really fascinates me is how much u actually know and realise about these topics, as a medical student alot of what I study is hard enough to understand let alone master, crazy stuff man but I'm glad u exist u make my life easier
Your 30-40 min videos give me more than a 6 hour lecture at Karolinska Institutet. Someone needs to name an award after you. "And the Ninja Nerd Science award goes tooo...." I'd watch that.
Wow, our bodies are so intricate. Thank you. I wish anyone who is being tested on this type of thing all the best. I'm learning because I'm interested so there is no pressure on me.

This was an amazing lecture! I'm preparing for the MCAT and the biochemistry portion can be quite daunting. Your videos are wonderful and really help me understand what's going on instead of just memorizing. Thank you!
You are an incredible teacher!! I am in awe of how much more I understand with your videos. Many many thanks to YOU and your production team that puts these videos together. This is exceptional!

Kevin As a biochemist, I think he is very over complicating Glycolysis. Not a good video. Sorry.
Nah, the video is perfect. It covers everything we need to know for school, even the arsenate problem.
@@mathematics5573 Make a better video then. Let’s see what you got.
