Im not really sure where hes coming from regarding wanting bryan nerfed. Sure hes received a few "buffs" but they were mostly just consistency fixes due to some poor hitboxes.
The only notable change was removing the taunt scaling which was done in response to them removing the wall stagger of heat dash.
Removing the wall stagger eliminated the reason they added the scaling in the first place. It would guarantee taunt setups and since he can't get those setups anymore they removed the scaling from taunt. He also still doesnt have his northern cross CH that he had in t7. Tool wise, id say hes not much better than 7 but still a very solid character. I feel bryans in a good place and that dmg is just too high for mass majority of the cast.
Outside of that, not really sure what yall mean by needing nerfs and wish people would be more specific.
I can agree that his damage is too high, however, I'd also say that for 90% of the cast lol not really sure if I could say that was a bryan specific thing

Bryan needs a damage nerf 100%. His staple wall combo does way to much.
It's puzzling why Arslan Ash doesn't use Bryan in tournaments despite Bryan being considered strong enough to justify nerfs. The only professional player I remember using Bryan in tournaments I've watched is Knee from Korea. Even he didn't achieve notable results with Bryan. If there's a need to justify Bryan's nerfs, I'd like to hear a clear reason for it.

I m your biggest fan but I don't agree with your statement cuz Bryan is the only decent character in Tekken 8.
Bryan does'nt have any good solid mix ups like all other cast, the only decent low he has is 4 games old with strong execution and not much advantage while we have Jin with new d2 with half screen range faster than speed of light, full combo on counter hit and high crush properties. there is a reason why Knee does not play with Bryan in real tournaments

I agree with you. It's funny you mention that. Yesterday, I just commented on somebody's video, and I listed Bryan as one of the cheeseball characters of the game. I always felt that way about him, actually, even before he was buffed. It's shocking that some people see him as an "honest" character. He's literally one of the cheapest characters in the game. A lot of people just don't know Tekken too well. That's what it is.
bryan has gotten nothing but bufffs each patch I dont know what theyre thinking at Bamco that they think bryan needs to be this string for he's not even a main story line character for crying out loud his rival is yoshimitsu (yoshi is supposed to be weak intenitionally according to Harada but stong AF in this game too)

Also, I think that Nina is overrated. I think that her T8 version is better than her T7 version, but it's not that much of a difference that she would all of a sudden be considered "top 5 in the game." Just the other way around…. He has no good natural combos (the rest of the cast have a lot with good damage that even translate to full combos on counter), plays only with like 3 moves because the other 100+ are trash and all 3 are lineal and slow…..his best low it’s super punishable on block and all others are - even on hit (wtf, can’t even keep his poking pressure like everyone which is wild considering he is a poking character)……the only good thing is the taunt and in reality its not much of a factor either, ridiculously hard to master or make reliable (hardest JF in game), you have to stay super still to get hit by it… which may only work 1 time out of 10 rounds vs a pro or good player. Character it’s pretty bad overall compared to the rest of the cast that have so many good tools and options, he actually needs buffs and new moves, some rework on old ones lol

His combo damage is too high and in a game where aggressive is the meta, his CH game is really overpowered.
