- I am happy that I solved the problem. I just lined the vocals up with the original song instead of the acapella since I just realized I downloaded it from a separate source. It should be fixed now.

I think he's got a picture of her in his room at Morning Glory in Y3, which makes it kinda sadder than just pretending she never existed lol
She sends you mails upon fully completing things in Yakuza 3, responding to Kiryu's blog and is referenced without name in Yakuza 5 and I believe one more obscure hostess conversation.
SEGA said, that story in Yakuza is too complex and have no room for Kaoru anymore so it great to see her comeback at Yakuza 8, feel like this is last game for Kiryu

i was really sad when I played yakuza 3 and she was only in it for 3 seconds and never came back, THANKFULLY she's gonna be a poundmates in infinite wealth (hopefully we at least get a sub story with her too)

How I'm feeling with the fact she (the character) and Kiryu's english voice actor aren't going to be in Gaiden. Darryl Kurylo isn't just the english for Kiryu not because he was the first but he actually sounds like Kiryu smokes and has aged
You have a point and I also think Yong Yea kinda isn’t the best for the role… BUT the first time Kuroda did the voice acting his voice was higher in 2005. I just wish people wouldn’t attack Yong Yea so much.

@blackjacktrial ProZD is like peak voice acting too. I think he would’ve made a better Kiryu, but Yong Yea is alright. Honestly Kurylo didn’t really fit the part either. Neither sound like Kiryu if he spoke English.
Yong has talent I admit. But having a talent for running can only go so far in swiming. His voice just isn't suited for an old Kiryu imo.

The description is fascinating, I didn't know that. One of the completing special tasks is Kiryu hanging out with a lot of hostesses though, so I like to think that's what prompted her to date as well.

Yeah, it’s also pretty big. At this point I just go and pick things I think are the most interesting then make them to keep everything going. Then I also have days where I make requests that don’t require much work (a drawing, 3d cinematic edit, etc)
