Yes 5 point pattern is a bit faster and easier for early apprentices, but if you learned a 7 point I recommend you doing it instead of 5 because 7 point gives you a more precise cut. I will make a 7 point pattern video in the future I just wanted to start with the easier one. Thank you for watching!
Great video you do such nice work ; I just had a couple of questions for instance you say the pipe od is 34 1/2 then how much are we cutting the aluminum sheet ..? Is it a standard two inch overlap.. ? Then you set your tool at half the measurements which you say is 17 1/4 but your tool looks like it’s only set at 6 or 8 inches is that because of the circumference tool? Thanks for all your videos I have watched and learned so much from you
Hey Carlos! I have watched a few of your videos and I just wanted to say that you are very good at the mechanical insulation trade, if you ever want to move to Oregon (highest paid state in the US especially for mechanical insulation) I would be happy to get you going. Reach out if you want to chat
How about a video on a ball vale like say a 2 inch valve with 2 inch thick insulation so the valve have to be cut flat to operate the valve. How would you wrap that in metal ????
With all my respect but that T in a job they wouldnt pass me that T and you no why that T should be water proof if your going to teach something place so it right if not don't teach the wrong way
I’m a 3rd year apprentice and they showed us the 7 point equal tee but this seems much easier and faster

Love your work. Can you please do a video on how to prepare the metal jacketing for the T?

He's setting to the circumference markings on the ruler, they are scaled to make it all work out.
From 17 half of that bro
You said 17.5 is what you set your dividers too, it would be half of that . Quarter of your circumference. 8.75
Hey please show me how to make a Y
Yes sir future video
I really like your presentation can you please post equal later metal jacket pattern
Thanks. NOW EVERYONE IS A METALERO!!
Why are you hating?

Are you a union insulator? I’m just curious, if so, what are the rates?
great job, thanks for the video
How can you doing if you don't have a Circumference ruler
I tried it for a small insulation cover, 1"x1/2". My template came out way to big. Total around the pipe was 8.75.

I can make a video on that in the future!
Its suppose to be water proof. What happen to the barbas
Can you show how to do a flared equal tee?
Hello Carlos, I've learned so much from your videos. Can you do a video for metal jacketing for 45 T's for equal T and unequal T"s thanks In advance 😁
Yes I will in the future! thank you for the support!
@@jpadtv1178 horrible T, it’s not water proof homie, you skipped a lot of steps
Thanks for your help bro
José Carlos, ojalá nos ayude con un video de gajos de cabeza porfa, aunque no sea posible hacer la instalación por cuestiones del tamaño
How would you make a tee if the tee is not equal for example if a 6" pipe had a 3" pipe tee off
It adds a couple of steps to the regular process, I will make a video on that one soon
@@jpadtv1178 great videos hope you and your family had a nice 4th of july
I am also waiting for this video, thank you again for making these videos!
In my point of view or my opinion too many markings that are not necessary.
Entonces no sería la T ! Estarías asiendo una montura! Saludos
🧐wetterfest ist das ja wohl nicht.grüße von einem klempner für industrie Isolierungen .aber nichts desto trotz, tolle, tolle, saubere arbeit.respekt
How would you do it without a circumference ruler?
Circumference ÷ Pi (3.1416) = diameter
Diameter ÷ 2= radius
Awesome video
Great vid!
Pro tip: you can always take the paper off your fiber glass and use that as a cut out.
Nice work
first time measure around the pipe how many, @ draw a quarter circle how many,, pls answer give
Im not sure I understand the question very well, can you explain it to me better please.
Thank you
Good thank you
Do an equal mono tee
