Great presentation. Video really helps those who trying to understand geology-- in a way that you never can from books. Because geology is largely a visual thing video gives us virtual field trips.
Thanks for the tutorial on how to lick rocks. Great info. Remember the difference between historical science and observational science. One is repeatable and the other is based on assumptions.
Remember that historical science is as rooted in the time asymmetry of causation as observational science, and thus, though their methodologies differ, their results are equally valid. Where did you pull "assumptions" from? Never mind, I don't want to know.
i paused to say this. but i found with mudstone "not sure on shale" when i get it wet you can easily rub the surface off similar to rubbing the sticky clay in a creek. now i know with my fingers i could feel that it was not as fine as the clay. how ever i do have a bad habit of licking certain rocks, like quartz is slightly salty, gold tastes like earth and metallic, garnet not much flavor almost like licking glass, IRON pyrite " arsenic safe" taste well like iron, copper is metallic, silver is metal, so on ha ha ha ha oh and topaz is also salty
Given its broad application, everyone should understand GEOLOGY - therefore this video has been indexed and a link added by DR-KNOW / iq-2k Information Services - roughly 650 videos have indexed for this series
CVshorey LOL, Yes, your fantasies you learned from watching Planet of Apes! get real - think about The Flood for a moment and suddenly you might grow up.
The reason you believe the global flood is probably because you believe that Jesus loved you enough to sacrifice himself for you. Try to show that same love to others. Build others up by edifying what their positive attributes. You won’t get people to change their worldview by ridiculing their worldview. Remember, our school system only teaches one point of view, not taking heed to scientists that believe a single global catastrophic flood occurred 4400 years ago. Suggest to them to look at folded mountains in Google images and logically think how all the sedimentary not metamorphic layers were bent without being broken at the folds. Remember that you are talking to walking dead people that have not believed that Christ died on the cross, rose from dead and paid our debt for all our sins.
Great video, i always try to find ones that have clay to make clay stuff and i have as a child, ate these mudstones, like actually ate them
Really good for me. Teaches me a lot. Thanks again.
Still love these

Great series. I'm catching up on what I missed in my geology lessons 35 years ago at college.
i LOVE your videos.thanks
Nice information

anyone else watching this for school. :/
LOL nonsense!
All these sedimentary layers were laid down during the Flood 4,300 years ago.
LOL. Only in fantasy land.
CVshorey LOL, Yes, your fantasies you learned from watching Planet of Apes!

CVshorey You need to be - you need to try thinking for yourself instead of just believe EVONONSENSE!

Funny, it's amazing that the civilizations that were around 4,300 years ago fail to mention that they were destroyed in a flood
