  • Hi there! I've been wanted to upload this for ages, but wanted to do a voice over... sadly I've been caught with a terrible cold for a week now so I still have no voice!
So here it is, a little video where I show you how I made this teddy vest. Mine is a little too big, but I think I like it that way :)
The tutorial I mention in the video, love her channel! She'll show you how to make it reversible.

Also sorry for the crappy thumbnail, as I'm sick I look horrible and didn't feel like taking any pictures for the thumbnail 😂 So this is what canva made me do.
Please let me know if you have any questions, as this isn't the most detailed video.
And as always - thank you for watching :)

Just discovered your channel tonight. Very well done! I also watched your video about your shacket. I know you weren’t as pleased with that one but anyone who has sewn for very long has a very long number of such makes under their belt. I remember when I was much younger (about 48 years ago) I had such a dream about a beautiful robe for my mother for Christmas. I bought soft corduroy in a beautiful navy blue (wanted velveteen and couldn’t afford that) and splurged on some beautiful tapestry ribbon to put down the front. I was so ambitious and it was a total disaster. Fortunately a mother doesn’t see these things and she wore it proudly for a long time and had nothing but words of praise. I wonder what she must have really thought but she never let on. Every fail brings you closer to being an accomplished sewist. No one gets there without them.
Great job on the vest. It is quite stylish and will be great for the spring and autumn, but still cool months.

Thank you for all your comments ❤️ And for watching!
Ah yes, there's always the risk you'll make something you won't like. I have to say after a while the shacket is growing on me! But it's also the best way to learn - to make mistakes.
How sweet of you to make something for your mother and how lovely of her to wear it! She must have been so proud to wear something her daughter made :)
      Thank you!
