Oh man, this is pretty cool stuff right here. Especially for GT7, after taking a playstation break to go to PC back in 2017, I went back to playstation and just for GT7 😅 After GT7's latest physics update, ive been running sessions after sessions everytime I know i have at least 2 hrs of free time. Now my PC only turns on for email work or rarely for iracing with my cousin. I'll think about this tool man, this is definitely the right tool for ppl who are looking to improve instead of being just satisfied for the present performance.

This is great Dave. Need to upgrade my simgrid pass to try it. You deserve a partnership with PD and Sony and get them to unlock even more data, like the DR and SR tracking. Make it happen please 🙏😅
Awesome stuff, that's so cool it's able to detect what track you're on by inputs and navigation. How we're you able to know what the tyre pressures are ? Unlike ACC it's not something we can adjust in GT but interesting all the same and it just shows PD could add a lot more detail to the game in many areas. Cheers Dave 👍

Ok, so I got this installed and I have ran into two issues. First, I saved a replay from my daily C qualifying session and when I tried to record the session while watching the replay it refuses to record said lap, despite working for other previous replays. Second, I cannot use Simhub at the same time as it uses the same UDP port. Otherwise, I am very happy!

Wow, this is very interesting. It takes me back to the GT6 days when replays also provided telemetry. It shows PD have that information, but they aren't sharing it with the community. I guess that's where your app comes in. What happens to your hard work if PD decides to release this information for free? Im impressed that you've managed to unlock the info that should be available in the game anyway. I think it will appeal more to the hardcore guys than the casuals. Good luck, @Coach Dave. Great job!

We will have investigate mobile support, not something we can commit to right now. 2nd monitors and tablets can have access to it via sharing if you have the right software/connection however.
How come there isn't a steering input graph. I have issues with my turn-in, it would have been cool to analyse that. Or, is the racing line detailed enough to see a clear difference in steering input and turn-in?
I have another question 🙂Does the brake graph show exactly where the driver is braking on track. For example, T1 the graph shows the driver braking at the 125m mark, then T2 the driver braked at the 75m, and so on?

Yes I am afraid GT7 doesn't allow the sharing of a steering trace, so something that's impossible right now, however we do have a full racing line feature which somewhat replaces a steering trace to an extent!

How were y’all able to record data from replays? I’ve been using custom dashes on simhub and have never been able to read the data from replays. Regardless, seems like a good tool. Might give delta a try soon
gt7dashboard will let you record from replays with one button. Also sim to motec I think? But this is for recording then watching later idk about live.

Hey Martin, we have not tested it on Windows 7, it is worth trying though. There is a 7 day free trial, so if you give it a try and it doesn't work you can cancel right away.

I'm using Motec i2 pro currently, but there's too much information for me and I'm still unsure if I'm interpreting everything correctly. Going to try this out tomorrow and if it's as good as in the video, I'm likely to subscribe.
@@DavidPerel My feedback, I'm using version 3.2.1 Day 1 I've tried to use it, but the delta software didn't see my sessions when I was on track. After half an hour I've tested the connection with Simhub and that was instantly connected. After exiting Simhub and starting Delta again, it worked. I've tried the Monza time trial and I've recorden lap times. Sometimes it didn't see the start of my session and sometimes not the end. My PS5 is wired but my laptop wasn't. Although my laptops ping and up/download speed was good, I've connected a utp cable and the start & end of the sessions where recognized correctly everytime. After that, I wanted to record a leader board lap time but that didn't work. I've tried Kie25 & Tidgney. It registered the inputs etc, but the laptime would be around 100ms longer and I could not see data after it was done with the lap. After a while I noticed that the track with the leader board laps was detected as de the "Monza no chicane" version but while recording I could see the first chicane. Day 2 Left my laptop connected though UTP, but Delta didn't see my session again. Testen my fireware/ports. Started & exited Simhub again and then Delta connected when I started it back up. I've tried the Monza time trial again, same issues. Then I tried the Deepforest timetrial using the Evo and everyting just worked. (Un)fortunately I've set a very decent lap for my doing, but still saw some small differences in racing lines, braking points etc to shave off some tenths. now I'm within a second of Kie25 & Tidgney and the I have nog real errors. Just have to carry more speed over the whole lap. It's nice to have a tool like this and I will al least take it for a year to see how I can sharpen my racing craft. I do miss the steering input so I can see when I turn and by how much. 4 years ago I had 2 sessions with Dave and it realy helped me that he could confirm I did well or give tips on what I did with the car on track and understood what was happening. I hope this feedback can help improve the product. I'm available if you want me to test future updates.
The app can be streamed to second monitors or tablets if you have the right 3rd party software installed, but mobile support isn't available right now I am afraid.
Hello, i just downloaded and installed, for some reason on the main menu it shows i have 10 sessions, but when I go to history screen it only shows 2 sessions, witch i can't access, i tried reinstalling and nothing, I tried loading past sessions and they are knowhere to be found, I did a few laps saved the session but again, it didnt save. Please help on getting this to work propelry thanks.

Very sorry to hear that! Physics changes can completely change the way you have to drive and if you've driven in a certain manner for a very long time it can make it hard to adjust.
In the works as we speak! Currently it is possible to have it work through Parellels if you happen to have that already (and potentially other similar software) - though of course it's not a replacement for native support. We hope to be in a position to announce such support soon!

Unfortunately there is no steering data from the game - hopefully one day it gets added!

Is the record button in the UI at the time of watching the replay showing it as capturing, to signify it is capturing the replay?
Would you possibly have this as a pack with the other simulators? iracing, ACC and GT7.
Our existing Delta subscription already allows access to all other sims in 1 subscription!

Sadly Gran Turismo does not share steering data. I think it is because of how they assist with steering on the gamepad. ~ Dave
One question, I'm using SIMHUB for baseshakers.. will this run ok alongside it and read the data at the same time?
On our list of post-launch updates is to make sure you are able to use Simhub as well as Delta at the same time.

Do both devices need to be on Wifi, both on ethernet? Or will it work with pc on ethernet and ps5 on Wifi
It should work regardless of connection method, as long as they're on the same local network where they can talk to each other
As Harry says, as long as both devices are on an identical network that is all that matters 🙌
