Government can build many new temples in goa.even were the temples are not in good condition it can rebuild.but not to interfere in church proporties . please DNT damage our peace 🙏.we hindu . muslim nd christian all are united.

Laws framed by Portuguese are better and retained by Goa Govt after liberation. Communicate was codified. Goa has unique Architecture.

Church has fabricas to maintain Churches Temples have Mazans to look after temples why Govt has to involve. Religion is personal and Govt should look after the welfare of state.

Goans and non Goans are living in Goa in harmony. The students in Diocesan Schools Colleges are admitted without discrimination. Even Hospitals for example Hospicio Hospital erected by a Priest and run by Sacred Heart Sisters served all persons on humanitarian basis.

The title of the debate itself - should government focus on rebuilding temples itself is concerning - is the government for and of Hindus or all other religions...??were hindus really the only victims of oppression in the past or catholics and muslims as well..should we put our full focus in these topics or could we keep them aside and focus on more imp issues for now..???
First focus on the human aspect, people have suffered immensely because of the pandemic, help them get back on a firmer ground, building of religious places is not the priority...

Cost of living is beyond Goans. Goans cannot afford a piece of land or a shelter since Rich people out of Goa are purchasing second and fourth homes at high premium. Govt has no policy to help original Goans.

Salaries in Industrial Estates are not commensurate with cost of living and Goans cannot accept employment and outsiders are employed for low wages and causes unemployment among Goans.
Ilhas Bardez and Salcete are better off from Portuguese times called Velha Conquista. This was seen by Nova conquista and realized 200 years late and requested Portuguese to extend beyond Velha Conquista to Nova Conquista.

Also You will be shocked to know that Goa had black stone temples everywhere with just a Shivlinga or a Demi- God like Betala.and Parshu.. The travelling Aryans brought their own female deities and built their own temples in Goa.
