Me and my grandfather have such an appreciation for what the Japanese fishing culture means to the bass community. usually bass fishing being more of a conservative hobby in America is usually thought to be an “American thing” “made in the USA” means the best gear not the case here. Japanese bass culture is unmatched and Shimano makes the absolute top tier reels once I bought my first Shimano I never bought another baitcaster that wasn’t Shimano. So cool seeing bass anglers on the other side of the world just as serious about it as the ones we have here at home.
I want to know on the scorpion DC reel if I set the adjustment to W or A and I don't put my thumb on the spool it is impossible to have a blacslash Thank You
not quite... the slx dc and the currado dc is ID4 brake system has one mode for each line type 1 open almost no brakes, 2 for braid and mono line, 3 for floro, 4 for wind or skipping, i really like the simplicity of the id4 system. i run braid set to number 2 and never changed it all season. ( you can fine tune a bit with spool tension) the scorpion and the slx xt dc, and mataium dc etc.. have id5 breaks. inside the side plate cover you set to line type three settings inside., then you have 4 levels of brakes adjustment on out side plus a wind/skip mode.
@@japanesebassman7907 well because when fishing for Murray cod a fish that grows to 1.6m long and bigger in rarer cases I found when using 60lb braid with the drag as tight as I can possibly get it a fish around 60cm to 1m they seem to still run a a fair few meters where fishing for these fish you can’t even afford to let them run a meter but with the chronach my snag rate when it comes to meter plus Murray cod has dropped a hole lot more, don’t get me wrong the product is awesome and I’ve used it for Murray cod before but I just found the chronarch series to hold up better.
