Great music. Some scenes of the animation makes me remember of Do The Evolution videoclip, specially the pilot skull...there's a similar one on both clips.
Nighttime is the best time for contemplation and meditation. Night has a special place in my heart because of the feeling it brings and how it complements sleep. Spirituality is like the night in that its a place of personal emptiness and reliance on the Almighty. He guides our steps, and helps us see fulfilment and we rest in his love.
This is the first song I've heard of this band. But it's not really punk. I would call it metal. The punk movement has never skipped a beat since the beginning. But the music has changed and diverted into many directions. Even rancid themselves wasn't really punk music. Either was op ivy. I really don't think many if any at all are playing early style traditional punk rock. Really the ones who carry the torch and are considered (atleast by themselves) as real punk rockers of modern times are a mixture of UK 82, political punk like crass, stoner rock, snotty chaotic the germs mentality sorta stuff, early American hardcore... And maybe skate punk and surf added in there. That mixed with super heavy and or fast playing and somehow being tied to old-school bands or underground punk music labels and there is like a vein through history that carried the spirit\torch of what is considered "real punks". I think it is funny however how things that punks would have done in e 70's or even 80's is now frowned on with threat of violence. Basically what I'm saying is these "real punks" today have ALOT of fuckin rules! I was just at a circle jerks- negative approach show. During the circle jerks set a fight breaks out between a teenager and likely a 50 year old skinhead. The teenager attacked the skinhead because (atleast by what he claimed I couldn't verify) the skinhead had an SS tattoo behind his ear. The man was minding his own business yet the entire place was about to rip this guy apart. Security dragged him out. This kinda pissed me off. For a couple reasons. The guy was being attacked. Yet he was the one removed, the kid attacking him was young enough to be likely his grandchild (hasn't been alive long enough to know shit against an older man), and also punks today claim unity, freedom...blah blah. But for merely the say so by one young kid a man minding his own business could have been severely beaten. What happen to letting people be themselves? For all anyone knew that guy regretted the tattoo. Maybe when put on it represented more satire or a joke.. ( like how did vicious wore swastika t shirts)... Who gives someone especially a young kid the right to judge and attack someone for how they look? Isn't that doing exactly what they feel those they fight would do? Now I could see if this guy was causing a problem or passing out Nazi information... Like I said. Modern punk has too many rules.
f yeah! love rancid, didn't know matt freeman had his own bad*** band! adult swim needs a show like this that crosses Primal with the Heavy Metal movie & a ferocious epic/punk rock soundtrack \m/ \m/
This is the finest song ever right now. From Rancid, to Auntie Christ, Devils Brigade, Social D. Matt Freeman is unbelievably epic. Jason from The Enemies is in drums I think. If you don't know who The Enemies are, please do yourself a favor. Thank you for putting this up. Cheers!!(A)
One of the best Things about dude is the never takes credit for himself when he achieves something he always respect us the audience and his team and he always polite in all of his video we cougratulate our selves on the achievement more to come

Of all the rancid side projects charger takes the cake BAD ASS!!!
The drums alone are just a different story. This band couldn't be better. Every element... perfect guitar and of course perfect bass... wow
Thank you Adult swim for introducing this to me
Loving the sound. Clicked on the ad after seeing the thumbnail.
Tetradactyl & Stern-Faced Mage VS Freaky Fighter Pilot = Perfection

Lemmy always described Motorhead as a punk band
Yes, it is time for a new Heavy Metal.
If some part of your body doesn’t move while listening to this, you don’t have a soul. Heard this on Tom & Dan.
❤️
Airing on Toonami tonight... strong Heavy Metal Movie influences here...
Iv played this song more then 87 times let’s make it 87 more in one day 😮
Hell yeah, I love heavy metal animations.
It's like the Taarna flight sequence but with clearer backgrounds.
I see someone is a fan of Heavy Metal
Now this is some good stuff! I need this right now. I swear the guys from RANCID create the best side projects!
Came here from Adult Swim (Toonami especially)

Moebius "Arzach" style video! Matt always in great shape! Try to catch the vinyl in France.

Absolutely love it. Sounds so much like motorhead.

Punk is not dead. This is proof. I love Charger forever.

Dude.... This is pretty fucking sweet... Like a heavier Rancid. Pretty rad ass video as well...
Som massa
Basically this band has saved punk and metal together simultaneously. Amongst the masses. It's excellent quality.
Lmao not really
you obviously don't know punk or metal if you think this pedestrian sound is your saviour...
Imo charger is the most interesting rancid side project in years, these are Matt's years

Great song... the video blows though. Doesn't really seem to fit with the music in any way, shape or form.
Meh....😕
🤟🏻
