The Follyfoot Farm is a kind of retirement home for retired horses that no one wants anymore. The patriarchal owner of the farm is the Colonel, and his niece Dora and the former drifter Steve take care of the organization. Ron Stryker and the ex-boxer Slugger also work on the farm. They all try to make the retirement of the horses entrusted to them as pleasant as possible.
