Mozart's Magic Flute sung and spoken in English! 😊 Its great to see one of his best operas in English. Mozart would have approved im sure. His family stayed in London when he was on tour as a child prodigy.
Excellent tenor playing Tamino. Very good performance overall and captured the original libretto. Bravo!

In the orchestra, the French Horns made several obvious mistakes which should have been refined long before this performance was recorded for public listening and viewing. Other than that, the overall performance was very good albeit with a few intonation issues among the singers. This is a good interpretation of Mozart’s music in his next-to-last opera which, in my opinion is his very best. “The Magic Flute” is also my most favorite of all operas having been in love with it since I first saw it on the old NBC Opera Theatre back in February 1956 during the Bicentennial Celebration of Mozart’s birth.
i feel like this is the best university edition of this opera i've listened to. especially the queen of the night.

Should Tamino touch the Queen? I don’t know 🤣
