Accidentally deleted my other comment. But yeah, I have this pack in the 44 liter model and love it. Great airline/travel pack. Picked up the 511 Rush 24 2.0 as a heavy duty pack to throw around as an alternative day/overnight pack, and to use the Kelty more for travel, and simple hikes. The 511 Rush has been excellent, it is super tough and well organized. If you do check them out, like you mentioned, the Rush bags are apart of a series. The Rush 12, 24, 72, and 100. The 72 and 100 are more similar to the Kelty Redwing in layout. They are really heavy duty bags, they are made of 1050D nylon. The only complaint about them is when they are empty, they weight a bit more than other packs of the same size. But the thoughtful design and the durability of the heavier material is worth the trade-off in my opinion....
Sweet thanks for the information! For my self weight isn't a big issue. I figured how light that kelty bag is for the price would be a good selling point to some people though. I'll take durability over light weight any day. That's just me of course.
@@Timberfall_craft Cool. I tried to think of a more durable bag than the 511 Rush bags and couldn't think of anything..... maybe besides military surplus ruck bags. 511 Rush bags are SOLID. The Kelty Redwing is still very durable for how lightweight it is and the materials it is made from. It is also an extremely comfortable pack to wear for a long time. It really is a great pack. A+ Also forgot to mention the Rush bags are covered in MOLLE webbing, so they have that tacticool look. I am not the biggest fan of that, but it is practical if you want to attach stuff to it. @nightmechanik haha. Now I definitely need one. Lol. Looks like a solid bag. I have mixed feelings about molle, one day I like it and the other day I don't. It is nice making stuff modular and customizable though
@@Timberfall_craft Yessir, it is a love/hate thing. I think that a lot of people use bags like that with molle now as normal edc bags, so it doesn't stand out so much like it used to 10 years ago....
