We are humans and we need protein. But we should still respect God’s creatures. Farmers/ranchers are some of the best stewards on earth. They physically care for their animals. Yes they sale them, eat, etc… but they also ensure they have food, water, and are protected

      there is zero doubt actually because even whales who have never been hunted learned to identify whaling ships and they learned to attack them,we actually found out the whales were talking to each other and ones that had survived seeing a member of their pod harpooned talked to others and warned them about whaling ships so they knew to fight back as well,this literally ended old school whaling to where now the japanese have to do it with a major steel ship they can't ram to sink and they now use explosive harpoons so it can't dive and pull the ship down with it

    • @missryanswers
      @missryanswers Year ago +12

      @nicinoz God gifted humanity an abundant home filled with endless ways to enjoy it. Good humans earn the blessing of company or companionship of animals. Those divers all earned the blessing of that experience vs what a whaling ship might have done. It's really the same with all interactions with all creatures. Do you deserve it? Yes, if you are good, decent, fair. Deserve children? Only if you're ready to make their safety, well being, healthy, education et al, a top priority over ALL else. Yes, I deserve my animals and the gifts they bless my life with. But every single one came to me with planning and intention, same as my children. If you go to work, follow your job description, put in good effort, you absolutely deserve your paycheck. Good humans do deserve the lives they have worked for 😊

      @missryanswersand yet so many bad humans live a life of abundance and wealth.
      Humans are animals too.

    • @missryanswers
      @missryanswers Year ago

      @strangelet4588 Free will allows for both good & evil, faithful & unrepentant to suffer or exceed. Our loving Creator blessed us with a body and a soul to do with it as we desire. Each of those lives will be evaluated by Our Father after their last breath. John 3:16 is key information to living a life you can hope to be proud of: accept & admit your missteps, repent purposely negative or negligent actions to yourself or others, and use the brain & body you were gifted to assist God's living creations who were not blessed with all you were. Accept with grace, help offered from those given more of what you have less of- be it physical, mental, social, or financial. Accept challenges with grace because that means God believes you are ready to grow. If you keep getting the same type of challenge, it may be bc you haven't yet learned what your Holy Father is trying to teach you. OR there is more to learn. He is not punishing the faithful by challenges. He is loving you into a stronger version of yourself. If you lose a loved one, it may be bc they had suffered enough challenges and learned all they needed and God is allowing them to skip all the very hard earthly challenges, pass GO, and go directly to their permanent Home, including newborns, fetus & embryos lost. God is ALL WISDOM. We cannot know or understand here & now. Yet we can trust in His Love, His Word, His sacrifice of His only Son in order to create everlasting life & show us the Holy Trinity understands what it means to live a human life. His Son was Love, patience, kindness, healing and yet He was tortured to death...all for a reason. Have hope, find faith~which means believing what you cannot see, and trusting in worldly gifts of proven miracles that still go on today. Stay clear of jealousy, of being glutinous of anything: from social media, food, unhealthy mind/body altering or damaging substances, to being too absorbed in fame, fortune, beauty, or sexual actions or fantasies. Find healthy ways to enjoy the earth and all of its inhabitants: climb a tree, learn bird calls, study in science, biology, ethics, child development & teaching, police science, sociology, aging, wild animal rescue+/-veterinary sciences, theology, world religions, specialize in creatures microscopic, oceanography, meteorology, medicine, or anything that calls to your heart that can affect our future by knowing not only our history but recognizing where we are going and where we COULD go instead with new studies. Hate doesn't want good things for others. God IS rooting for us to go far and beyond into the future to find more good things for His creations & keep the good things we have attained. Success comes with failure & vice versa. Best wishes in your navigating the life you've been handed ❣️

      @power2084 Maybe. Maybe not. If not, then everything came from nothing all by itself. Consider a hummingbird. Did it design itself? What do you think of its capabilities? Could you design a better one?
      Now consider a Boeing 747. A big airplane that can fly great distances at high speeds carrying heavy loads. Where did it come from? Men designed it, built it, fly it and maintain it. That's where it came from- and that tiny hummingbird is actually a far more complex creature. No one on earth could build a living, breathing replica of it. Not even you.

    A few summers ago I saved a pelican at North Padre Island. We were fishing off the jetty and one of my friends asked for a knife. When he cast his line was caught around a pelican and he was just going to cut the line! I said HECK NO and slowly pulled the bird in. My friend wasn’t pleased. I needed to lean down and bring the bird up to me so I could cut the line. My friend was going nuts! He was concerned the bird would hurt me. I must admit that the hook on the end of his beak was daunting. However, I just kept talking to him softly. I finally got the last piece off and slowly released my hands. Mind you, he didn’t move the whole time I held him! It was probably 20 minutes and he never wriggled; and never tried to bite me. When I was no longer holding him he just sat there in my lap so I picked him up and lifted him towards the sky. He moved his wings and flew away. I stood up and turned around to see about 40 folks watching me…including some kids! That made me REALLY happy! THEN…they all looked up and gasped! I turned around and saw that pelican He had flown BACK to me and circled me 3 times before he took flight and joined his flock!!! I got tears in my eyes (have them now, too!) He was acknowledging me! It was AMAZING! When I got back to my brother’s I told him what had happened. His eyes grew large and he told me that about a week prior to this he had seen a sea gull in the road gutter. He was just hopping on one foot. My brother picked him up and brought him home. Next day he took bird to his vet. A dissolving cast was put on the weak leg. Then my brother took him back near where he had found him and released him. You know what that gull did? He didn’t fly away immediately! No! He flew 3 circles around my brother and then took off! 😢The next morning there was a seagull sitting on his roof. He had lived there for 15 yrs and had never seen a gull up there before. That gull stayed at my brother’s home for about a month. Every day he sat on the roof. It wasn’t the injured gull but another. But he sat there as if he’d been SENT by the injured one. Interesting…RIGHT?

      I used to deal with pelicans in California a good deal, on weekends at a local pier. They can't really hurt you, their jaw muscles are not strong enough to do any damage... Worst they can do is scratch you, sometimes enough to shed a little blood, but even that is really rare. They don't chew their food, got no teeth so no reason to have strong jaw muscles. The don't crack open nuts like parrots sometimes do...The enjoy the company of humans also... I suppose they get bored hanging around with sea gulls and cormorants, and they also are curious to understand how we catch fish.... that activity makes sense to them, so they pay attention when a fish gets reeled in.

      My Dad was a very avid angler for years in northern Minnesota. He was fishing one evening, felt a tug on the line, and thought he had caught a nice sized fish. He reeled it in and discovered it was a full-grown Loon on his hook. He had not seen it before, because they were in the area but not nearby, but they can swim long distances under water, so it was a fluke hooking. He pulled it into the boat, put it on his lap, the Loon was calm the whole time, and he carefully got the hook out of the Loon. He then stroked it for a while without the Loon making any attempts to leave or fight him, and then my Dad calmly put it back in the water where it swam and then flew away. I thought it was a cool event in my Dad's life.

    Any one involved in such a rescue, how simple or intricate they may be, it changes one's life. It changes their legacy. It gives them joy for rest of the life being part of that experience. People from all over the world show these kindness to saving animals from elephants in Asia to a crocodile who was stuck with a tire for many years in Indonesia. Deers in USA and Canada to seals in Africa. We are emotionally attached beings and when the opportunity comes to rescue another living being, no matter how small or big, we volunteer without thinking. The amazing thing is even a crocodile , which is not a mammal would understand that we are there to help. Many animals in the world, specially mammals somehow trusts humans when they need help. It is like every animals has been taught to approach humans if they were in trouble and luckily we never disappoint them.

My only experience close up to a whale was at Sea World in San Diego in the 90s, They had rescued a baby Gray Whale that had lost its way and was separated from his pod. They had him in this huge metal tank that had port holes all around. They called her J J the Baby Gray. I remember standing there looking at her through a port hole and him looking back at me. I could see the emotion, a slight sadness in her eye. I will never forget her looking back at me. They released her a short time later and I am certain she is still out there somewhere swimming freely.

    I truly believe these animals, and elephants, are more intelligent and more collectively conscious than humans. Our advantage is our dexterity (hands, feet, arms, etc.). One need only think about the fact that they and their ancestors have been around for millions of years vs. our thousands. We should treat them accordingly, with respect and compassion.

    We need to get the message through to all fishing crews, and perhaps require refundable deposits for returning fishing gear. But, because there is so much plastic and fishing gear already in the oceans, we need to fund plastic and fishing gear retrieval boats. After dewatering on land, plastics can be burned in incinerators with cogeneration of electricity. This would probably be limited to 900 psi steam (in some cases only 600 psi steam). Nonetheless it should be done. Start with a pilot program.

    Anyone that purposefully hurts even one of our sea, forests, woodland and plains creatures, definately has a black, unevolved soul. Animals are our saving grace. They all are innocent, instinctual, beautiful, mindful, intelligent, breathtaking, and fascinating. They give us unconditional love, pride, gratitude, and joy. Protect these sweet, amazing friends. Honor them. Bless them. Help them. Protect them. Pray for them. Love them. 😊😊😊😊🎉❤

    The world needs more people like these human beings with their intelligence, compassion and empathy. It's really sad that all this debris is in our oceans and I seriously believe it is from the tsunamis that have occurred and not from people throwing trash in our seas. We all get affected by global warming and we all as humans need to do our due diligence to save our planet. 🙏🏻🥰

    This is so wonderful and beautiful, this beautiful creature got the help he needed, he was lucky to find the group of people who knew what to do. The trust between human beings and whale was fantastic too. I was so delighted when all of the effort put in achieved the whales freedom and he showed his joy at being able to swim freely again, even thanking the man who put this rescue operation into action. Thank you all for recognising the pain the whale was in and straight away helping it to freedom you are all stars⭐💖
