- Simplest Effective Way for Closeness to Allah
The daily life of a person involves many different activities, states and emotions, at times disconnecting one from remembering Allah Most High. Shaykh Abdur-Rahman mentions the main 4 states and the simplest way in remembering Allah in each of them.
A person can either be:
1) expressing happiness
2) upset, finding themselves in a testing, difficult situation
3) remembering a sin of the past
4) worrying about the future

Summary: We need to make it routine to start thinking about Allah each time we do something, in order for Allah to assist us. The point of this exercise is to develop a relationship with Allah SWT by remebering Allah for a huge part of the day. This will make us draw closer to Allah because that is how many times we remember Him as Allah loves those who remembers Him. This is what will create the love of Allah in our hearts, and for something to become a source of reward by enjoying this world and as a source of elevation in the hereafter:
1. Recognise, declaring the Oneness of Allah SWT to attain closeness to Him, to obtain special benevolence, mercy & forgiveness from Him and to attain the love of Allah
2. Say a simple thikr to add on to what one does everyday in our life i.e.
(a) say O' Allah help and assist me in my daily tasks when eating, cooking, putting on clothing or buying something
(b) ask Allah to facilitate it for me, make it easy for me and let it happen. Allow the objective to be reached. Allow it to be completed with Arafat- absolute safety, security and well-being
(c) ask Allah SWT to accept it from me- my eating so it has the right effect in the body, so it won't have a negative effect
3. Praise Allah. Say Algamdulillah expressing gratitude to Allah for any cause of happiness
4. Say Inna Lilla hi wa Inna ilayhi raaji oen when something is going against our satisfaction and is not a source of pleasure
5. Say astaghfirullah when remembering a past sin
6. Make dua and seek refuge in Allah when worried about the future and from anything untowards anything unsavoury and anything we anxious about by saying 'Allah humma inni a u thumma bika min jami'il fiton ma-thahara min ha wa ma baton'. I seek refuge from all tests, trials and temptations-- those which are apparant and those which are hidden.

Easy dzikrs with great rewards we cannot comprehend
La hawla wa la quwwata illa billah
(“There is no power or might except (by) Allah.”)
You will enter through an exceptional entryway in Paradise for the individuals who utilize this recognition.
Qais bin Sa’d bin ‘Ubadah portrayed that his dad offered him to the Prophet (ﷺ) to serve him. He stated: “So the Prophet (ﷺ) passed by me, and I had quite recently performed Salat, so he jabbed me with his foot and stated: ‘Should I not immediate you to an entryway from the doors of Paradise?’ I stated: ‘obviously.’ He (ﷺ) stated: ‘There is no might or power aside from with Allah (Lā ḥawla wa lā quwwata illā billāh).'” [Jami’ at-Tirmidhi]
SubhanAllah or SubhanAllah wa bihamdihi
(“I acclaim Allah (or All recognition if to Allah) overall properties that sometimes fall short for His Majesty.”)
A tree will be planted for you in Paradise. Decent! Begin developing your woods at this moment! Another hadith relates that whoever says this 100 times each day, his/her transgressions will be excused regardless of whether they were as much as the froth of the ocean [Bukhari].
Alhamdulillah
(“All recognition is for Allah”)
Your scales will be tipped on the Day of Judgment, brimming with remunerations!
Abu Malik Al-Ash’ari (may Allah be satisfied with him) announced: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) stated:
“Virtue is half of iman (confidence). ‘Al-hamdu lillah (all commendation and appreciation have a place with Allah)’ fills the scales, and ‘subhan-Allah (how far is Allah from each defect) and ‘Al-hamdulillah (all recognition and appreciation have a place with Allah)’ fill what is among paradise and earth.” [Related by Muslim]
SubhanAllah wal hamdulillah, wa la ilahaillAllah wa Allahu akbar
“I acclaim Allah (or All praise if to Allah) overall properties that sometimes fall short for His Majesty. All applause is for Allah. There is no divinity deserving of love other than Allah. Allah is Great.”
This blend of dhikr is the one generally darling by Allah, subhana wa ta’ala. At the point when you state them, sins tumble off of you like leaves off of trees.
Abu Hurairah (May Allah be satisfied with him) revealed: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) stated, “The articulating of the words: “Subhan (Allah is liberated from defect), Al-hamdu lillah (all acclaim is because of Allah), La ilaha illallah (there is no obvious god aside from Allah) and Allahu Akbar (Allah is the Greatest)’ is dearer to me than anything over which the sun rises.” [Muslim].
Likewise, Anas bin Malik portrayed that the Prophet ṣallallāhu ‘alayhi wa sallam (harmony and favors of Allāh arrive) passed by a tree with dry leaves, so he hit it with his staff, making the leaves fall. At that point he stated:
“To be sure, ‘all applause is because of Allah, (Al-Ḥamdulillāhh)’ ‘greatness to Allah, (Subḥān Allāh)’ ‘none has the privilege to be adored by Allah, (Lā Ilāha Illallāh)’ and ‘Allah is the best (Allāhu Akbar)’ cause the wrongdoings to tumble from the admirer, similarly as the leaves of this tree fall.” [Jami’ at-Tirmidhi]
Ultimately, the best dhikr is perusing the Quran.
You will be compensated for 10 rewards for each letter read. This reward essentially shows the heaviness of the Quran as far as where it ought to be a major part of your life and the significance you should give it. Looking for Barakah of the Qur’an is worth more than hustling to build our economic wellbeing or net revenues - these things will bite the dust with us in this life and will add to nothing to us in the following on the off chance that they weren’t careful, finished with the correct goals and lined up with our motivation throughout everyday life.
Shaykh Abdul Hay 'Arifi recommended the following advice to become closer to Allah.
♧
Before every single task, even mundane like making a cup of tea, say:
Oh Allah, assist me, facilitate it for me, let it reach completion with safety and afiyah, and accept it.
♧
There are four states/emotions that occur during the day:
1. Pleasing - say Alhamdulillah, thank Allah
2. Upsetting - say innalillah wa inna ilayhi rajioon
3. Remembered a mistake/sin of the past - say astaghfirullah
4. Worried about the future - say this dua: allahumma inni audhubika min jameei'il fitn ma dhahara minha wa ma batan (oh Allah i seek refuge from all forms of trials, tribulations, all open and hidden)
Jazak Allahu Khairan!
جزاك الله خير
Jazak Allahu Khairan! :)

Salaams Mufti Mangera!
As always an amazing motivating talk to start off my morning! JazakAllah!
Could I request your duas for Allah to grant me a righteous spouse soon?
Also i would love a talk on women and leaving the home for various reasons!
Shukran !
Thank you
Ameen ❤
Alghamdullila
Al hamdulilah
When something good happens say ‘Alhamdulillah’ and you will capture that blessing and turn it to reward
When something untoward happens say ‘ina lillahi wa ina ilyahi rajioon’ and have sabr, this will turn that difficulty into a source of reward and closeness to Allah
When you remember your sins of the past and say ‘astagfirullah’ you are purifying and cleansing your past
When we are anxious about the future and we seek refuge then we will be looked after by Allah
SubhanAllah Pearls of wisdom!
May we all benefit from mufti Abdur Rahman Ibn Yusuf!
Ameen
