It’s mad to like, years ago you’d be searching to see if you left the radio on or maybe fitting a kill switch if the battery was draining. That days gone nearly All laptops now, same as our own.
Honest review Gerry, Why are you not buying from Meath Farm Machinery. Great service and parts in-stock at all times. I'd bet John Deere got wind of this video and technicians are being woken from their beds to address.
There was a pip brought out with rubber mats that go in around the inside of the wheel to stop the build up of clay and muck since anf has been very effective
Good review, wouldn't worry about the door too much, I ran 6115r for 8khrs loader tractor so lots of use no problems. Moved to 6120r ex hire now autoquad otherwise same cab etc as yours
Just for the craic Gerry, do you notice any difference in the slurry strenght depending on wether its dry cows/ stores, or cattle that are being fed meal?
Mirror guards are almost essential when you spec the premium mirrors. Man I drove for always ran stainless mirror guards. Only ever had mirrors break when the guards were not on yet when tractors were new.
@@gerry6420 is that so may be then some new tech.previously on the 6215r they that the diesel tank near the door. Just bangup to the addblue tank.near the steps.
Genuine and honest review there Gerry. Never noticed the mirrors stick out a good bit beyond the tyres. Good set of mirror guards would be the job. Hard to compare apples with apples on power with the 69 but in terms of fuel consumption how do you find it with the bigger horsepower?
What do you think of the Greenstar . Have a new 155 on order and it was specked with the green mirrors but told they aren't available now due to a factory fire.😢 They do set the tractor of though.
It there. It was away getting rear door repaired. And I got it all cleaned and polished up so I wasn’t driving it much for few months. But it’s in yard in this video. When I’m doing the review in the tractor. It was parted up top of yard. Should see it out the front window 😁
A fantastic tractor Gerry and wish I could own one myself. How does the 6R215 compare to the 6930 on fuel consumption and hydraulic power? Any easier on diesel being much more modern and more powerful?
Do you wish you had got a auto quad instead. My 195r is the same the back of tractor fills with crap and it’s hard to get out but the best thing to use is a high powered air compressor to blow it out when it’s all dry 👍👍
Gerry don’t use hydraulic and air brakes together either one or the other, red rock man told me ye can destroy braking system on trailer, that’s with the 20ft red rock silage trailer anyways
Watch the video when he first got the tractor he mentioned about getting a bigger tanker. Guessing he just hasn't got round to changing for whatever reason.
It is a bigger tanker. Moved from 2000 up to 2500. Love to have went 3500 but it wouldn’t be any use for 90% of the year due Ground type. All year with the ground conditions the 2500 gallon was too big. No bother to tractor. All to do with ground
If anyone has any other questions about tractor…. Leave them in comments and I’ll do a follow up. Have a few showing up already 👍

Yea not sure if it’s actually progress though. Was better maybe a couple of steps back from where it is
Good review on the 215 Gerry an good to see you getting some weather let you get the slurry on 👍
Thanks bob. 👍
Great video Gerry. Great tractor walk around, sounds like you are very happy with it. Enjoyed watching. 👍🏼👍🏼
Hi lad that was a class video of your land great job to 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉

Cracking video good honest review. It’s a fine tractor. I have to say though I’m a blue man myself

I wonder why grass silage is made in the hall, in Poland no one stores silage in garages/halls. Why

rubbish
Just watched your video and noticed you had the air breaks in as well as the hydraulic breaks in.
Interesting review Gerry - might be crossing that bridge in near future myself - cheers
Nothing runs like a deere!! Good honest review, thanks!
Good review.
21:24 that is not the diesel tank that black boxy thing on the rear wheel of the john deere is the air brakes
@@zacharygabrielwillmer7333 its the desiel tank. Do u think I done know what it is 😂. Air tank is over the other side under the cab

Good review on the tractor. Has a new one gone up much in price since you bought it.
About 60k€ since I ordered it in August 2021. If I sold mine, I could currently get more then I paid for it
Madness
@@gerry6420Talk about timing Gerry when you ordered it. €1,000 a hp now seems to be the norm now.
How many hours is there on the 6930 Gerry? Great video by the way 👍
Good tractor review, but i am worried about the black land cruiser haven't seen it for a while.

Great video Gerry. Do you think you'll keep the 215 long term, or trade in for a new one in a few years? Also, any plans to buy a front mower for it?
She’s a lovely tractor. I’m guessing you won’t be going Massey then. 😂
Probably not 😂

Ground type. Some is wet. Some is very hilly. I needed a taker capable of traveling in damp conditions.

Did y get ur friend's rob pit done de other day
Yes got it done no problem.

Couple cb areials and a couple new flashers set her off 😁
Gerry be honest your biggest dislike is the repayments 😂😂😂.i dont think 600 euro a month go far paying for that yoke like mine!!!
What about power n fuel usage Gerry
Use to think a fordson major was the business, that things like an airplane
A major is still the business. New performance with the white wheels please 🙏😁
