I love how people can't give Nixon credit for anything he did that helped America. It's always couched in terms of "He wouldn't have otherwise done it, but..." They ignore the fact that in the late 1960s and throughout the 1970s, there was a legitimate race among Republicans and Democrats to see which party could champion more environmental legislation. It was actually a huge struggle for Democrats because one of the natural constituencies, labor unions, hated environmental legislation and regulations because they were perceived as industrial job killers. I doubt the creator of this video has any concept of the history around the Clean Air Act and Clean Water Act.
Edit: just to be clear, I'm not accusing you of attacking Nixon.

@Magnet_Chaos No it doesn't, an infestation is a population of pests causing damage, staking claim, or over all being somewhere they aren't supposed to be or doing something they aren't supposed to (like an invasive species).
You don't say ppl infest their homes, Or that bears infest caves to hibernate or even that bees infest their hives to make honey.
Saying it's "shark infested" implies they are a pest in their own ecosystem & shouldn't be where they have been for close to a half billion years

I'd be more concerned about the Oceanic Whitetips, who have a DOCUMENTED 20% kill rate (meaning there are likely more that we do't know about, since they prefer deep ocean) in unprovoked attacks AND a long history of predating on survivors of shipwrecks (e.g. U.S.S. Indianapolis). Or Cookie Cutters, who have a proven history of attacking ships. There were only 2 fatalities in the US last year, even though just Florida has more shark bites than any other country in the world (16, none of which were fatal).

Sharks are an important part of the ecosystem and their attacks on humans are exceptionally rare. They deserve to exist as much as humans do and the fact that your trying to make it seem like them existing in they’re natural habitat is a bad thing is just crazy to me. I’m not saying that if a shark kills a person that we shouldn’t kill specific shark, I’m just saying maybe don’t vilify the entire animal species.
