The biggest blessing Houston has is having a father like you. Your a good man, and because of you Houston will grow to be a good man also. May God bless you all.
He sure is. He a Dad anyone would love to have. Amazing family. I had a great Dad as well but he was an alcoholic so when drinking not so much but when sober hextaught me alot. I can do just about anything with what he taught me. I can and have remodeled a few houses doing all the work myself. My Dad had a horrible father so he lived a very tormented life which I find very sad. Dads are an important part of a child upbringing.

Realizing it was important enough to you to continue to search for the Deer is important. My hubby and I teach Hunter Education, and you are so right. It's the life lessons and the learned responsibility that count. He has his whole lifetime ahead to harvest meat. This year's lesson was a big important one.

Those who passed Exam, then attended a Field Day Test of live-firing at a range. We were scored on our safety, handling, loading, aim. We did archery (for fun 5 arrows each), shot 5 skeet with a 12g shotgun, fired .22 rifles five times at targets, & each who wished, could fire an antique black powder muzzle loader rifle one time, at a large painted model of a buck! ☺️ The adjoining woods trail was 'baited' with hidden "decoys" of wildlife, humans, livestock, deadly dangers like snakes etc. We carried unloaded rifles, one to three at a time, with a Ranger. Congratulations Houston! Things like this happens to the best of us. Thank you Daniel for teaching him the importance of respect for the hunt and animal. My dad taught me the same lessons here in South Carolina and we passed these lessons on to our children. My son is 31 and respects the land and the animals. He doesn't shoot if he won't eat the animal and he also picks up his empty shells and will pick up other's trash. He is also a fisherman and does the same with fish. He is mostly catch and release. God bless you all much love from Johnnie in South Carolina.

Ahhh, Houston and his sweet emotions! He had me tearing up right with him, just to see the gratitude and joy on his face made it all come full circle. Great job Daniel and DeeJay for searching as long as you did. As much of a shame that you didn't get it in time for the meat, you can clearly see in the video, that it did not go to waste. It'll provide food for many other animals.
Great job finding the deer. Huston is learing many life lessons that he will keep taking with him , as he becomes a young man and on. I absolutely love seeing parents spend valuable time with their children. Keep up the good work 👍
I’m glad at he was recovered, I’ve had the same feeling when I shot a buck a while ago but I found him about 2 hours later. Honesty good on you Daniel to find the not too happy but happy ending to this hunt. This does happen but I can say I rather have the meat over antlers every day. Tell Houston that he will have to keep practicing and see what next big buck he can harvest for his family.
Dad you did a great job finding Houston's deer. Even though there is no meat to gotten at least he has proof of the antlers. Very proud of Houston. Thanks as heartwarming to watch. 🦌🍂👍♥🙂
What a awesome discovery and Houston is thrilled I am sure. Great job Daniel, showing the world a father's love for his children. Well done! Really well done.
so glad i saw this video this same exact thing happened to me last deer season and i hit my buck in the liver with a crossbow at 44 yards and we never ended up finding him ANYWHERE after looking for a whole day it wouldve been my first deer ever and im so disappointed we never found it but congrats Houston!
Congratulations Houston! I'm sure sorry you didn't get to harvest any meat but you did get your deer! We're looking forward to seeing the mount! Big thanks to your dad for continuing to look that's a skill you'll want to make sure you develop as you get older just like your dad. Good huntsman ethics! 👍🏻😊
Daniel I knew that deer was hit pretty good because if you’d watch the footage you can see its tail twitching back-and-forth or what I call going round and round. Anytime you see this they are hit pretty hard and they’re hurt pretty bad! Glad you got your rack Houston !
I’m sitting in the blind now, this made my heart race when I saw the video pop up, this same thing has happened to me and I had the same reaction Houston had. Way to go houston
That's one happy little boy! I love how tender hearted Houston is and how both mom and dad help him out and no matter how long it takes. Thanks for showing Houston that determination is the key. What an Amazing Family. Thank you for this video and all of the others too! Great Job Houston you've got a nice buck and a nine point to boot. Happy Hunting Arms family. Well done Mom and Dad.❤
Pretty great end. A young boys heart is happy. And in the end he will always remember what his daddy did to bring him home that deer. Which makes this hunting tale amazing. Great story for the ages. Every child needs a mom and dad as awesome as yall.
Awww.....I loved Houston's reaction and I'm so glad you found the deer. I think the hardest thing is wondering if the animal is suffering and now you know it isn't. It fed the other wildlife out there so it wasn't wasted. Great job Daniel!
So proud of you Daniel for pursuing the hunt not only to find what we all knew Houston shot but to bring it home so he could have his bragging rights. Y’all are such a wholesome relief to watch when the rest of the world seems to be falling apart. What happened to family values??? Y’all are living proof that they still exist! I love your channel and never miss an episode. God Bless y’all.
I’m glad you found Houston’s buck. No one feels worse about loosing an animal than the hunter that shot it. Most hunters have lost an animal at some point. I’d bet that Tim Wells the slock master has lost at least one during his hunting career. Those things just happen no matter how good of a shot you are. You didn’t get the meat but at least you found the deer. Congratulations Houston!
Houston please always be thankful for parents like yours. You are one amazing young man because of the way youre being trained up. I wish every child mine included had had parents like yours.
I’m glad you found his buck. Houston has a tender and caring heart. He’s growing up to be a fine young man. 110% he’ll remember this hunt for the rest of his life and get to share it with his kiddos someday. Nice work Dad!
I love this channel. I was in the same boat when I was his age. I am 14 now and watching these videos always brings back the good memories and the hard times when I didn’t make the best shot. It’s the best thing to see in a young kid like him and the excitement it brings to his face.
Such a wonderful father that would do that for your son. It just continues to show the love you folks have for your children. Only the love of a father and that of hunting will I’m sure be the lesson and the message Huston will get from your actions. Congrats Daniel l’m So happy for you both. Huston’s Reaction was exactly what I would expect from that young man you I’m sure are very proud. God Bless you and your family.
Houston, I'm very proud of you. I've never shot a deer, cans off fence posts are my personal best. Arms folks, I'm especially happy with your parenting. I wish more people had your common sense and integrity. You're bringing up super kids. (Except when you cut off Houston's curls.)
I noticed a little change in dads voice when you realized how happy you made your son. Daniel you must have had amazing parents to grow into the teacher, role model, caretaker , fixer of your children and families dreams. To watch your actions with your livestock family pets and human family members is an exercise in excellent parenting. You and society will be rewarded with productive loving offspring. It’s a pleasure to have a window into your lives and a teachable moment for other parents and stewards of the land and it’s animals.
Hello from Texas 74" Aw bless his heart you are an awesome daddy. He will never forget what you did for him. He is young but we learn no matter how old we are. So glad you found it. Love Nana 74"
So so glad and very awesome u found Houston’s deer. When I was younger and I had went deer hunting I shot at a deer and tried to trail it but never found it. I’ve always wondered what happened to it but I do probably know that when I didn’t find it coyotes probably got a free meal. Good job Daniel
I love his reaction. I know it hurt him when he thought it was lost but he learned a valuable lesson and I bet his next shot will be dead on. I have lost 2 in my 40+ years of hurting and I still won’t take a questionable shot no matter how big the deer is. He’s definitely going to be a ethical hunter and you are a great dad.
"I'm OK not having meat than shooting a deer like that". That's a huge statement from little kid. Kudos to you Daniel, we have so much to learn from you and your family 🇹🇹
I’m so happy for Houston that you found his deer . Great job dad showing your son not to give up and to try and find out what happened to it is something that all hunters should do . That will make a great European mount . And he still has the next hunting days to get the big one meat and all . And I to cried when he started crying at 65 and proud of it.
Daniel, you set a great example for Houston to never give up on a harvest. Congrats on finding the deer. Great trophy and it will always be a reminder of lessons learned. Great video as always.
Glad y’all found the deer and it ain’t suffering. Now gotta get one for EmmaLee, the terror of ground blinds everywhere! Just have to remind her that the blind doesn’t need more holes! 😉 Congratulations on a great deer, Houston! Little more practice and you’ll be filling your freezer for years to come! Getting a good deer is even better than catching a mess of sand bass!

He doesn't shoot if he won't eat the animal and he also picks up his empty shells and will pick up other's trash. He is also a fisherman and does the same with fish. He is mostly catch and release. God bless you all much love from Johnnie in South Carolina.
Congrats, Houston! Great going there, Daniel! You are a good Dad, reinforcing the positive for your kids.
YES YES YES UNCLE DANIEL THAT'S WHAT IM TALKING ABOUT.I THINK YHUR THE BEST DAD IN THE WHOLE WORLD.BIG BOY I KNOW YHUR THE HAPPIEST IN THE WORLD RIGHT NOW.KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK UNCLE DANIEL AND HUSTON.
LOVE YHU GUYZ AND GOD BLESS
Ahhh, Houston and his sweet emotions! He had me tearing up right with him, just to see the gratitude and joy on his face made it all come full circle. Great job Daniel and DeeJay for searching as long as you did.
As much of a shame that you didn't get it in time for the meat, you can clearly see in the video, that it did not go to waste. It'll provide food for many other animals.
I’m so glad you found him!! I cried when Houston cried. Bless his heart. He was so happy. 🦌♥️
He seems to be as happy of that rack as he might have been with the whole deer. Good job dad for getting out and finding it!
Great parenting right there. Houston just learned a huge lesson. Well done, Daniel!!
Oh Houston, we are so proud of you! You made me cry happy tears🥰
My brother just finished looking 3 1/2 hours for a moose he got with his bow. Good for you for looking. Your dad brought you up right🇨🇦❤️
Daniel I knew that deer was hit pretty good because if you’d watch the footage you can see its tail twitching back-and-forth or what I call going round and round. Anytime you see this they are hit pretty hard and they’re hurt pretty bad! Glad you got your rack Houston !
I’m sitting in the blind now, this made my heart race when I saw the video pop up, this same thing has happened to me and I had the same reaction Houston had. Way to go houston
Beautiful deer Houston!! So happy your Dad found him for you. That's a priceless memory you'll have forever!
Man, I totally enjoy your family. Houston is so cute and smart.
Congratulations Houston and way to go Daniel! Y'all are awesome parents and it shows in your kids! What a blessing!
It’s good to see a boy emotional over a hunt, he has character and that is a rare thing anymore.
Not me sitting on the couch crying from the father-son moment 😭 Can’t wait for these memories with our boys!
congrats on finding Houston's deer, life lessons are priceless!
So glad to see you’ve found Houston’s deer!! Like you said, it’s no longer suffering and fed other forest creatures!!
Let’s go Houston I’m rlly happy for you, I know it’s been rough the last few days
Houston you are one lucky kid to have such a great family (dad) to teach you good ethics in life , God bless you Arms family.
Congrats Daniel l’m
So happy for you both. Huston’s
Reaction was exactly what I would expect from that young man you I’m sure are very proud. God Bless you and your family.
You are such a great Dad Daniel!! This made my heart happy for you all!!
The tears of joy from the little one God be with you I'm glad you found it though
Houston, I'm very proud of you. I've never shot a deer, cans off fence posts are my personal best.
Arms folks, I'm especially happy with your parenting. I wish more people had your common sense and integrity. You're bringing up super kids. (Except when you cut off Houston's curls.)
Glad you were able to find the deer for Houston. Loved were he was crying and then he's picking off the ticks in the garage by the dog's.
I love u guys will do just about anything for ur kids poor huston
Huston now knows the true meaning of "bitter sweet". Made me tear up.
You must be so proud of your son he shows so much appreciation and thanks in his actions what a great kid
Awesome dad!
Heck yeah. That what I'm talking about. I know he is sure happy.
Congratulations on a great deer, Houston! Little more practice and you’ll be filling your freezer for years to come! Getting a good deer is even better than catching a mess of sand bass!
Congratulations!!! We were watching football, when I noticed your video ( I had already looked multiple times earlier in t to he day) I just started yelling he found the deer, he found the deer!!! I then played the whole video out loud while the game was on (prohibited lol). I was so happy. I watch your videos every day! Clean family stories. Thanks for giving us wholesome entertainment. 😍
So glad you found his deer! Next time Houston you are going to get one and put the meat in the freezer!
Great job Daniel now you have one happy little boy. Thank you for sharing this with us sir and God bless you and your family sir. 🙏❤🙏❤🙏😊😊😊

Well at least y'all recovered it.. Good example on importance of marksmanship. Feel bad about the wasted meat, but things happen. I just moved and missing deer season this year unfortunately
wasted for human consumption, but pretty sure God's creatures are enjoying their meals
A tough lesson learned by Houston.
My momma instincts kicked in when Houston cried and I wanted to hug him and say it was ok. Bless his young lil heart he was so thankful dad found him. Wish more would put in such effort to find a wounded animal. Good job to the Arms men.
YAAAAAY Im so happy for Houston lol this made me day
