Dead Island 2 was honestly one of my biggest gaming surprises last year. I had no expectations & couldn’t have cared less if I tried. But when I was bored & saw it cheap at launch I got & can not emphasise how much I loved it total shock how obsessed I ended up over it
For those who have the Sola DLC but doesn't show up in your downloadable content tab in the main menu. You unfortunately have to reinstall your entire game just to get this DLC to register.
The lvl cap is 30 lol, and there's 6 characters. There's no need because the game doesn't end and force you to restart. If you want New Game + start a new character, and you can share inventory with the other characters through the safe/vault.
I love that they drop the trauler day off, and they market perfectly without spoiling stuff or giving into what the minority wants. They stick to their guns and don't force in pointless mechanics or modes. Thankfully, there is no live service garbage either.
Man, SOLA is so good: graphically superior with great effects, stunning set-pieces and a fun, trippy storyline... except for the fight against the three Dirges, and a final boss battle so over-extended, so cheap and so brutally, unforgivably difficult that it absolutely ruins the experience. Three hours of trying to get halfway through the final battle, I stopped playing this game entirely. No thanks, I play video games to have fun, not to become so frustrated that it brings me actual, physical discomfort.

Well, Haus is in Malibu but mostly inside. SOLA takes place in another part of L.A. as well.
