That arrow just hit me in the heart. Just stunning! Cant wait for another episode.
I really enjoy the vibs of your vids, the honesty in your educational parts, and the lovely editing including your cats. The cantera opal seem to be the ones that were the prettiest in my opinion, and congrats to all the winners.
My mother was fire opal freak! Her offspring share some of her quirks. Thanks for sharing your time with us. It is always a pleasure.
I have a good stash of fire opals as well
The cantera opal might not be as classically pretty as other opals, but it's so interesting to look at. I love how the arrowhead turned out. So fun seeing your kitty's personalities!
I’m tile the interior of the cathedral in San Miguel de Allende is Cantera. I’m going to go check it out!
The cathedral in San Miguel de Allende is made of cantera. You can see the nicks where the opals are or were. It’s amazing.
I was amazed in the Flaking process, I was soo scared that it would break the stone. And again you made a stunning arrowhead, thanks for making a fantastic videos.

@@PulitzerOpal question for you i have mexican fire opal i found in Florida by digging around in a parking lot how do I get these orange opal stones to really shine even tho they are grade b_or +
Your video was great! I love opals, but never knew anything about the way they were formed.
Such fascinating info in a very easy to understand delivery. You’re a naturally gifted teacher!
I look forward to more of your work!
Just started learning about the world of stone cutting! Had to binge a few of your videos because they are so fascinating. That arrowhead is amazing and I would love to enter the giveaway. Flint napping is also something that I’m beginning to look it. Keep up the great content and very cute kitties:)
Thank you so much for the info!! I always thought fire Opal had to be red, but I definitely want to see a bright yellow/orange Opal in person some day!!
I have to admit, part of me wanted to see a prehistoric gummy worm come out of the rock. 😛 Paco chattering at the birds was adorable 🐱
@@PulitzerOpal Cat chattering is such a unique sound. Mine does it too. :)
@@PulitzerOpalplease send me a giveaway
Me and my mom recently met up and went through some opal fragments we got from a paydirt buckrt. Nothing too big but seeing her face as she looked for them was the best. Amazing pieces.
This Sonny, I've tried to win a opal arrow head ,I've offered to trade you a 100lbs of premium Flint Ridge for one. I don't want it for myself, I want one for my girlfriend. Ill trade you a authentic point for one. A Dovetail, Thebes, Lost Lake or whatever you want. The artifact will have COA's from nationally recognized authenticators. Ill send you the piece and you can have it checked out by anyone you like. My baby loves opals and so do I but I can't wear one because I'd gut it out. Let's make a deal.
I'm not going to call you Dude, Buddy, Mr or Pal. But young man, you do some of the BADAZZ Opal, cutting, shaping & polishing I've ever seen!
Congratulations To the winners.
The Mexican fire opal is just beautiful! I love seeing all the different kinds that you show.
I had never heard of cantera opal! Thank you for your informative and funny videos. You are always a light in my day.

Appreciate the clarity on defining fire opal, good stuff is hard to find and travel may be even harder
I love watching kitties, so focused on the birds outside.
@@PulitzerOpal my Baby, she is terrified of my mom's blue and gold macaw and umbrella cockatoo. The cockatoo chases her around the living room, it's funny to see a kitty scared of a bird.
The play of color on the red-orange body color looks amazing!
I am a total newbie, but I am learning so much from you! I'm enjoying your humor as well😊

I just stumbled upon your videos and cannot stop watching! The "mystery opal" aka the Untreated Black Andamooka Matrix Opal in one of your previous videos has the most beautiful colors I've ever seen in it!! Love the clips of your kitty too. Cannot wait to see what you have to show us next. ❤🧡💛💚💙💜

TY for the review of Mexican Fire Opal. I now feel even more rich with my boxes of raw ore and jars of opal shards! Cheers!
That arrow head is amazing! I've been wearing a boulder opal pendant I got in Cairns, Queensland in 2019. It's one of my favourites 😃 I'll tell ya though, that fire opal would make an amazing pendant!
Didn’t get a notification on this video. Wow! That arrowhead is super neat! I have a cantera pendant and a small fire opal ring. The ring I was lucky enough to find straight from Mexico from a small family business. Thanks for sharing your knowledge and skills. Always enjoy!

Thanks for teaching us about opal , good sense of humor is entertaining to!
We have fire opal here in southern California. It varies from a honey sort of amber to a deep cherry red. The rhyolite associated with it is a maroon color, and I've never found any with a play of color, but I have heard it exists. I LOVE your new kitty toy!
Hi,Paco,Touchy,Hopper.great video, on the arrowhead i can imagine learning how to knotch the tail into the opal you lost a few. That looks like the hardest part. The very first stone i tryed to set was a faceted fire opal, cracked the top right off that sucker.I had no idea that it was that soft. Thanks and as always have fun!🙂
@@PulitzerOpal yes Tom I just dont know any better.Im a self taught jeweler and i do a lot of reading.A lot happened with this being my first stone. The gentleman who wrote the book mentioned that i should prepare to break a few stones along the way,its a right of passage type of thing,i think. So i chipped the first stone i tryed to set. Gotta get it out of the way.I still have the stone, its a 6 ct. Cherry red fire opal with a little play of color.I keep it as a reminder that this too shall pass.oh and i may have miss spoke when i said that opal was soft i think the real problem is that it has certain planes of growth that was the problem.Maybe someone can let me know.
@@PulitzerOpal seems that is exactly what i have experianced.Thanks. oh and that Opal i won from you is so much more then i ever expected my wife loves it and im gonna make her something original with it.I really apprieciate your generosity Thanks again and heres to lots more great opals.🍻
