In my experience it's pretty common to get some sort of sweet snack during long-haul flights, like cookies, ice cream or chocolate.

I'm a daycare worker- the only inaccuracy is that real toddlers would be kicking the seats the whole time. Otherwise, great observation and Fauna gets a sticker!

I've never been on a flight longer than one hour. It's like a bus, only the air pressure diff is more annoying.

The ONLY flights I’ve been on are long flights (America to Japan) and this is exactly how it feels. Especially with Japanese flight attendants - they have the exact polite and smiley, but firm and in charge, attitude of an average daycare worker.
@@DinnerForkTongue Longer flights have way better service. I love transatlantic flights, because you get 2 or 3 meals, plenty of drinks, all brought to your seat. Also it's dark most of the flight, so you can get some rest.
If planes are just daycare then I’m that one kid that’s always sick for no reason and it’s always a gamble whether I’m keeping the food in or not

I have never been on a flight with an instructional video or cookies before. Fauna’s flight experience is far differ from mine.
Depends on flight length and provider- I noticed on transatlantic flights (10-11 hours) there's a lot more going on than, say, flights from one part of Europe to the other (
pretty much every flight starts with a safety video, i think that's what she means
never seen an instructional video in my flights either but they have the flight attendants do mimicking along an instructional audio instead which is funnier to me

Singapore Airlines (SIA) are the typical ones doing these practices; maybe Emirates and Qatar Airways does at some flights but they’re not consistent. SIA does these toddler-esque stuffs as standard practices.

I've only taken 1 longhaul flight before and it was with Singapore Airlines. I was relating so hard. I'm flying back with them in 2 days, I'm gonna be thinking about this constantly.

i always get surprised by the amount of americans who haven't been on a flight, i thought the country was big enough you could take a flight to another part of it
it is but Americans like to drive. Even if you do fly, a lot of what Fauna talked about applies only to long haul flights
The us is large enough that it’s convenient to fly around it but sometimes it’s just easier to drive to your destination. Also air travel tends to be more expensive than just driving to where you want to go.
Americans tend to drive everywhere since flights are usually much more expensive than driving, and since Americans can drive to each state, it saves them a lot of money to just do that than to take flights there. Only the relatively wealthier Americans take long flights out of country. So as you can imagine, there would be quite a lot of Americans who have never travelled out of their country (other than to Canada and maybe Mexico since they're relatively close by and able to be driven to).
Yes but 11% of Americans have never left their home state, many of the ones that have probably live near the state border.
