I've had this happen to me with the fatty embolisms. I broke both my tibia and fibula on my left leg. My oxygen levels dropped on the second day which was when the doctors found the fat embolism in my lungs. I was put on high flow oxygen plus my strength dropped also. I also had a big rash accross my chest. Oxygen levels came back to normalish after a week or 2 as did the rash disappearing and my strength was back after a month and a half.
There were days during that time were I'd be on crutches for a quarter of the day and because of the fatty embolisms, I was weak and in bed for a day or two getting my strength back.
About a year and half has passed since my accident and I feel great, back to doing most things I used to do before the accident.

Amazing information. Had this happen to me 6 months ago when I broke my left femur and my right foot. Fat embolism occurred in my brain and I lost most of my memory and motor skills. It was the worst experience ever, like I knew what I wanted to do and say but was not able too. I wished to just be dead at that point. I started recovering the next day and suddenly had a seizure. Luckily after that scare, everyday afterwards I improved. My head still doesn’t feel 100% but I continue to improve more and more. Also was telling with a concussion for almost 2 months. Lol, my advise to everyone out there is please be safe. 🤗

My butts been huge my entire life so I can’t say what I would or wouldn’t do. To see women die from this due to BBLs is sad af. I wonder how long the big butt trend will last.

My husband had a cerebral fat embolism that left him in a coma for almost two weeks. How often does FES lead to coma?
