Gameplay-reasons, that's on them. It is not impossible if they just keep going with full on story Lore but their hands are tied for how many reasons that we could both come up with....
It would make sense for them not to bring back a Cayde 6/7 since he's dead. I prefer Nathan Fillion's idea, which was that they could bring back a Cayde 5 or 4. Even though it probably will never happen, it would be nice for Nathan's version of Cayde to get a proper sendoff, even though Nolan did a pretty damn good job impersonating him in Forsaken.
It’s not worth doing tbh. It’s one of the few things in the game that actually carries some weight. Although I do wish he was brought up a bit more in this dlc given it’s all he spoke about for years.

That is the Only place on Europa or mission that we do hear from him though?.... well he's mentioned a lot in Lore texts like in the Raid Armored Pieces, with Shiro-4, Lisbon-13, Banshee-44, Micah-10, etc having their quotes relating to their Exo memories.

sadly, it is more likely that ace is a fragment of memories jumbled up into a lie that he didn't really understand. so his exo mind kind of just made up ace to substitute for what he wish he had. it's even more sad than if ace was real.

Actually you cant, when an Exo is revived (so Cayde would be Cayde-7) he lost all of it memories. That's why Banshee, after 44 reset, is completly lost
the only hope within Destiny for bringing original Cayde-6 back (Lore-wise, Not Gameplay because....it's bungie) is through the [Light] again. the [Traveler] and the [It]'s Shard in the EDZ, giving a story reason for Why?.... But then again, it would also be a question for bringing other Permanently dead people being Physically alive again, the genuine kinds, and not just Cayde. like with Saint-14 back then: 'only Saint-14' as Osiris would say his....
@@Jaaziar I think the lore stated that ghost can't revive anyone but their own Guardian(only exception being the unique circumstances of Saint-14 being in the infinite Forest). the reason as to why we can't bring back died ghost is the same as why guardians who die during the Red War stay died afterwards, once a ghost dies its connection with the light permanently ends.

His processing and memory cores could’ve easily been transplanted elsewhere, whether it’d been into another GHOST or having something as simple as a Cayde artificial computer Orrrrrr we could’ve taken him back to the crypt and did some digging.
Shin wasn't a guardian before he got Jaren Ward's Ghost. He never had his own. On top of that, Shin never died when he was without one, like Cayde did.
You have to go there on patrol, aka not in a mission, but I don't know what specifically triggers it besides walking up to it. It didn't work the one time I went with a fireteam, so maybe you need to be there alone.

We can still bring him back. Shin malphur was a guardian who lost his ghost then got a new one. The same can happen for Cayde-6.
