The Quincy Vollstandig/Complete Holy Form is basically the Quincy's version of bankai. You saw it earlier in the arc, when Ichigo fought the Quilge (the main Quincy in charge Hueco Mundo) way back during the first invasion. The Holy Form is when the Quincy gained halo and angel wings and popped off on Ichigo and the Arrancars. You see a brief flashback of him when Urahara described how hollows are poisonous to Quincies. This is their trump card. Most of them didn't use it in the first invasion, because they didn't need them. Thankfully, stealing bankai prevented Stern Ritter from being able to use their Holy Forms. If they could use both, they would have a massive advantage. I was happy the anime added Shinji bankai reveal. We didn't get that in the manga. We had to wait for light novels to reveal his bankai to us. I actually like his bankai. I know it is situational and cannot be called on any time, but I do like when powerful abilities have a cost or downside. At least with Shinji I know fully understand why he didn't use his bankai in the war with Aizen.

Side note: the visored’s bankai can DEFINITELY be stolen. The difference between the visored and Ichigo (and also Tosen) is that the visored are hollowfied shinigami, whereas Ichigo and Tosen have hollowfied zanpakuto, making them actual true hybrids. The pill was used specifically to hollowfy their bankai. This might also be why Ichigo is the only one to use his mask at the same time with bankai

Once Sakashima Yokoshima Happo fusagari as been activated enemies and allies will turn against each other just like what happened in that episode of Bleach TYBW. By using his bankai it's very hard to use when enemies as well as his allies are in the same place where he is. However, if it was just enemies and 0 allies he will be able to use it.
