I’m so sorry too Sanketha, to be honest there was no new year for me either as such. I love awurudu but when seeing the situation in SL, I just wasn’t in the mood to celebrate. It’s not fair especially on the little children, to go through so much suffering. I’m trying my best to help but like you said it will take years to recover. I didn’t do a video for April, simply because I just didn’t feel right and then thought need to do something to uplift the moral of Sri Lankans. We must not lose hope, Sri Lanka is an amazing country. I’m so glad to hear that you are keeping well, stay safe 🙏🏻🙏🏻

Actually we are going through very difficult situation here.. I really can't explain it and I even don't know how to explain it...people are not protesting they are asking their life for children.. They are asking their future.. I am really sad to see these.. But as you said we sri Lankans will never give up and we have courage to face for everything.. Like everytime I really enjoy your vlogs because they're not too much long and as in every video, there's something important to learn in life and as you mentioned the british education system as well as all the education systems in devoloped countries have great freedom at the same time mental health of students explores a lot, about everything like personality devolopment and also focusing on practical sessions but in Sri Lanka students like us have a big preasure so nobody has no time to do extracurricular activities. The whole education system is always like study,study and study all the time. Anyway we were able to find out a lot of facts about this university. It mostly thanks to you.
Good point Shevin, unfortunately the Sri Lankan education system needs urgent reformation, so that more consideration is given to build personalities and mental health. It’s been in a bad state since we were at school, nonstop tuition and a lot of pressure. Good luck and thank you 😊🙏🏻

As usual I am always enjoying your videos.. As you mentioned there sports can create a talented and challenging youth personal to the society...One of the worst decisions I took when I was a student stopping all my sports activities just before my higher studies..still worrying about it..seems like the education system in England is far better than here in Sri Lanka..as you mentioned student unions should help the students to develop their skills and support them to develop their careers.. Seems like it's happening there.. no need to mention how the student unions are operating here..our education system is like a fish out of water..it's like asking a fish to climb a tree rather than let them swim freely.. Anyway thank you so much for creating such a nice and educational video for us.. Really enjoying it as usual 😊.. So keep it up and waiting for another interesting video as well.. Yes, even I had to stop my extra curricular activities around the time of exams, which is really sad. There’s far too much competitiveness and all kids are forced to perform in the same level. There’s no consideration about the child’s mental health or health in general. It’s like run, run nonstop. And like you said, fish are expected to fly. No room to display your actual strengths, well yes, unfortunately student unions are another story.
