So there's a reason for the NPCs to explain the area/items/events/phenomenon in full detail. If MC knows it all, there would be fewer interactions. This is also one reason why Isekai anime is interesting
To add, it also allows the writers to add plot twists in the future like MC is the son of the villain, MC is the most powerful being, MC is dying and needs to do x task, MC's memory was wiped as part of the grand plan
I get that making the character having amnesia is for easier explanation ifyk , but they could just make the mc like a important yadada or just a simple worker yadada and if they want to explain some certain stuff mechanic or item wise make them have like a have a conversation to a npc or something like what ZZZ have done LIKE CMON IM SICK OF THIS and istg if they make "CHOSE MALE OR FEMALE MC" im ganna do heimlich maneuver to a squirrel
I don't mind MC Amnesia, but given how they've handled things in ToF, it's just going to be something I'll not care about and completely gloss over. Which is a shame, because ToF does have a decent story worth exploring (yeah yeah cope). At some point the Amnesia is going to hinder rather than help the story. "He/she can do that? Why though?" "Oh you know, he/she is special, but doesn't remember." How many times is that going to be used before it gets awkward?
i hope it brings something new like genshin elemental reaction, bcs they also have 4 characters here. that way, it will be cool if we can use 1 dps in so many team comp, not just hypercarry. the open world is so beautiful not just "better genshin copy cat" but it's inspired by gta instead of openworld like zelda. i hope this game bring justice to male characters and 4* unlike tof too. definitely hyping for it
im hoping they got a little more in depth about the combat and make it special in some way. from what im seeing they got basic, e skills, ultimate, swap cancel, and intro skills. kind of meh for me
I saw a video where the character parries an attack. Dodge, when timed perfectly probably has effects too like in ToF. The character that can run on walls can probably be used to do interesting plunging attacks from any corner of a room
@@genshinfinity parry, dodges, buff arent anything special. we can also see that in zzz and maybe they have the quick fighting pace because of plenty animation combos that the characters can do. But i what i expected to see for example something like attack > attack > delay > new animation combos, or hold button to make different attack chains. maybe mint using after using ult she change state into a cat with four limbs have quicker attacks... i mean SOMETHING! i dont need to expect something from anecdotes you see from other sources. Its the mechanics can attract people to the game with something unique.

@@AhaxD-r7g i didnt say new, i said unique or special. what you said is not specific to TOF only. what i mean is based on usual attack mechanics in most of games nowadays and tune them to some twist to it. like forte gauge in WuWa

All the startercharacters look bland or bad.The driving looks fun. I'd probably wait until a few character releases have passed to start.
