i recommend "bts dance break practices" by ida s i'm sure there's loads you haven't seen and that's simply a crime i love their dance breaks sm. if i had to pick my favourite MMA 2019, that was simply legendaryyyy

about what efra said about namjoon having a lot on his mind, i'm very sure he does but the thing about being a team and being bts is that they know when to take a backseat. i remember namjoon saying that he respects the members so much and that he knows when to listen, and basically that being a leader doesn't exempt him from taking advice. hobi is the dance leader (hobi and jimin are main dancers, taehyung and jungkook are lead dancers) and if you watch the rehearsal videos you see him and all the members just listen to each other because at the end of the day they all have the same goal in mind. so yeah i'm sure he has a lot running through his head but he's shared his gratefulness and appreciation for jhope multiple times (as well as the other members) for shouldering the responsibility of dance leader.
Tea is not lead dancer lmao he is just dancer. Are you kidding me compute with jk??? Even he get in dance line 2018. But not lead. Like he is just vocal not lead vocal. Also jk have already main vocalist role that's why he is not main dancer at that moment. Thats why he is always in the center.
I love watching them re-learning their choreography!! Taehyung is the best for that, because he remembers most of it!!

the whole of MMA 2019 is genuinely one of the most amazing performances i've ever seen and then for dionysus they really bought horses on stage, had individual stages and that AMAZING dance break. will never get over that. i love their concept trailer practice and their sbs practice dance breaks and some of my fave choreos are danger, idol, boy in luv, on, black swan, blood sweat and tears, fire... god there's so many
i also just love how much the members respect each other. like so many people take constructive criticism the wrong way but they're so receptive when someone points something out and always treat each other like equals. i find the hobi/bts dynamic so cute because they've all said they literally love when hobi compliments them. i especially find taehyung/hobi dynamic cute because taehyung has said since they were young he always worked to be praised by him and you can see how much he respects him as a dance leader and a person. he's literally everyone's cheerleader so cute
I kinda like Jungkook's style when he dances ....he is very well balanced dancer and even his expression are very well balanced which is very rare to see...His aura is very addictive

Btw Taehyung is also in the dance line. Many people love ignoring him while talking about the dance line but just to let you know if you don't know, he is in the dance line since 2018. And it is not surprising how he has the most viewed fancams, the reason is that he feels the music and shows it with his smooth and delicate moves. He has totally another style on his own. It is so satisfying just to focus on the way he moves and his face (since we know he also has a choreography of his facial expressions lol)
there's a video called "practice making film" by heartmanjins which shows part of their rehearsal for their online MOTS ON:E concert last year which i definitely think you shoud react to!!
ahhhh i've been wanting you guys to watch a dance related bts video for so long! i also recommend "bts dance break practices" by Ida S it's so iconic. as for dancing it's so amazing to see how they've developed their own styles while maintaining synchronicity. as a big picture they move like one but when you focus you can see how they each stand out in their own ways. my favourite dance breaks have to be dionysus at mma 2019, the intro trailer, ON, and dynamite mma 2020 though i love them all so muchhh. fun fact: when i got into bts i didn't have a bias but after watching the intro performance trailer taehyung became my bias because of the way he looked at the camera during this one part. i can't tell you what exactly it was but it just gave me this incomporable feeling and when i started paying more attention i was amazed at what i found. as a performer i love watching them on stage and their processes of learning. lea salonga put it best about taehyung: it's like an acting lesson.
i love behind the scenes dancey stuff hehe. i just wanted to appreciate jin for a second because he really comes in earlier to learn the dances because he doesn't want to inconvenience anyone as he said he usually takes longer. to still have that mindset this far into his career is a testament to his humbleness and how bts wants to just do their best i love him so much.
You guys should definitely watch the online concert!!! It's soo good, i know you want to have the real live experience, but you'll have so much fun that you'll only remember that's online when it's over lol

a lot of these comments are about taehyung's amazing memory and yeah it astounds me too. if you see at 7:07 the choreographer/performance director is actually looking to taehyung for the moves lmao. then they all tell him to go to the front and teach them hahaha

taehyung is in the dance line if you didn't know!! jimin and jhope are main dancers and jungkook and taehyung are lead dancers. i really love this video though i wish it showed taehyung's learning process more because his memory when it comes to dancing is amazing and i wish i had that capacity lol. and if you from all the rehearsal dvds i noticed he tends to mark more and watch the videos or the choreographer and then just does it like it's nothing. if you want to see this there's a short comp called "taehyung being the fastest learner and the best at memorising choreos" by bts videos. i just find it really fascinating lol

@I'm biggest fan jhope my live I don't know where you got your information from but hobi does not choreograph bts choreographies. He definitely has input and so do all the members as they said they didn't go with the original PTD choreo, and jungkook has previously choreographed for just one day etc. But he is not a choreographer. They have Brian Puspos, Sienna Lau, can't forget Son Sung-deuk who is their main performance director, but we often see hobi take this role too so yeah I would say he is also a performance director. Hobi is my bias but I love all the members equally and you shouldn't discredit anyone. Jhope and jimin are main dancers, but jhope is the dance leader. Main dancer is literally a higher position so I don't know why you're arguing lol. Taehyung and jungkook are lead dancers as well stay mad.

You do have those moments where your caugbt off guard and miss a beat and its so annoying when that happens but its interesting to se how they all process learning choreo and how they execute but for prefrence sake my favourite it defo Jimin
just because i feel his execution is so strong and in any genre he knows how to control his body where in every aspect such as communicating with audience and facial expressions he is able to showcase that will elegance, smothness but still let it flow in a natural way whether a fast or slow tempo and add the elements of contemporary and modern in just the way he moves his body

i actually got back into dancing because of taehyung and his charisma on stage. he's just so good at playing characters on stage and i'm so sad i never got to see singularity live because literally everyone who has seen it has said that there was a tangible feeling/hush and i wish i could experience that in person. his style of learning is so interesting to me and i've learned so much from him!! there's been so many instances where his memory just blew me away (collectively agreed on by the members btw). this man is really busting out moves from 2013 like the back of his hand, or just learning things on the spot (when he did jungkook's begin choreo after like 5 mins i was like this man is not real). and i wished this video showed that side of him more as a member of the dance line because sometimes it tends to get overlooked since he got that position later. he's definitely improved, his textures/ad-libs he makes on stage are so engaging to watch but he was getting attention from idols since the beginning for his facial expressions/charisma. they literally watch his performances them and study them like a textbook. he definitely inspired a whole generation of idols to be more expressive on stage (i'm literally not exaggerating there's whole comps lol) from the beginning.

this is literally the cutest thing i have ever read so glad you found your inspiration to continue doing what you love :') taehyung on stage is something else oof. his affinity to acting and roleplaying for fun (like when he was doing laundry lol that story always cracks me up) definitely translates in his performances. and i love seeing the way he rehearses too!!!! i see him marking a lot in rehearsals and then going all out for practices and performances. i think because he's a very visual learner is what helps him to remember things so well

Fun fact: Taehyung learns choreography stupid fast, he's apparently the fastest learner according to BTS. Also, he's the one who tends to retain choreo the longest, his memory is really good.

The translations were a bit off so thats why people didn't realize they weren't talking about new choreo. That's why there is so much confusion because it wasn't fully translated. You can ask k-army

Please people don't discredit V like that. When his name is taken among the top finest performers of the generation. He is the king of stage presence and am inspiration to hundreds of other idols , who watch his performance to incorporate his skills and gestures in their own performance. Taehyung isn't called the fastest learner for no reason..also his memory is freaking awesome..he never forgets any choreo. one of the finest performers out tgere. 1/4 of the dance line and Idol of Idols who is an inspiration to hundreds of other idols and grammy and Tony award winning artists too. Meanwhile I forget what I ate in the morning by the evening.

Back when I used to learn dance (I studied two classical dance forms-) our teacher used to first demonstrate, and then we were given time to practice, and it was relay evaluation lool the quicker you pass the better. If you are comfortable you cam go first the otheds just form a line behind you and we just give it a try. If you get an ok you can go back and rest and possibly help the others if it's a no u go back in the line and try to figure out where you went wrong. Ah it was such a fun time.

How good that you could see this video because there is such a wrong idea of Jimin, because he also participates teaching the members in the choreographies and J Hope are the main dancers, just the two of them and Jimin is the one with the most dance styles. the most versatile in the entire industry today. Thank you for sharing your story because in some way I felt identified and every time I see Jimin dance with such passion it makes me very nostalgic to think that he could have been my inspiration but my injury could not be recovered so quickly.

Hey guys, you need to check out Lay's newest song and dance practice! It's called "Flying Apsaras". There is a 40-second visualizer you should see first, then the dance practice. It was released a couple days ago. Lay is bringing out his Chinese culture in the song and I love it. An apsaras is a female celestial being of the clouds and water, and are very tradional subjects within Hindu and Buddhism, or Asia, Thailand and India, where the same apsaras belief is an ancient tradition within these religious areas. Lay is a story teller, but his culture in his music lately is very different and beautiful. He does not do trendy or commercial styles that is kpop-ish, he is Cpop for sure, and I appreciate the traditional sounds mixed in with modern beats. Lay does things HIS way, and he works hard being a perfectionist himself.

My favourite dance break is probably their Intro Performance Trailer (the one where they are all in white millitary/sailor outfits) it's seriously insane!
Also the sass that Bighit had at the time, posting that video in response to shit camera work with all the 'very good camera' as if to say, we obviously have different definitions of what constitutes as good camera work, if you include what you did for our performance! 😂😭💀
