  • Arsenal embarrass Manchester City 5-1 in Premier League. Rival fan Alice reacts to Arsenal 5-1 Man City. I can't even lie Ethan Nwaneri and Lewis Skelly are unreal talents, that is not normal to produce two in one season. Odegaard, Havertz and Partey all get great goals. Arsenal 5-1 Man City post match analysis. Can Arsenal win the league now? #arsenal #lewisskelly #nwaneri

She's always backed Ethan, but then again, he's been announcing himself for a while. She was one of the first people outside the club who took notice of MLS, though, but no one really could imagine he'd be this impressive. As ridiculous as this seems, an MLS call up by Tuchel doesn't seem out of place.

    • @D333-p8u
      @D333-p8u 6 дней назад +7

@@Azabaxe80 Folks are now realizing Nwaneri and Lewis Skelly weren't just 'plucked' from the youth teams - they were developed. They were playing U18 with some regularity from 14 years old, and then training with the first team in recent times.
But - as crazy as this might seem the third prodigy is on the way, Max Dowman, who could be the most precocious talent of all three -Google him! Dowman has been seen as a generational talent for a few years in spite of his youth and at 15 is training with the first team. He is Martin Odegaard-esque but bags goals also. Reportedly, the only reason he has not debuted in the first team is that he is so young it would break FA rules. That said he has already broken a couple of UEFA Cup records already.
Enormous credit needs to be given to Hale End/ youth team set up at Arsenal which has been headed by Per Mertesacker since 2018.

What i found pretty amazing was for a long time before Rice even switched it to Nwaneri, Nwaneri had his arms up asking for it, for like ages. He was begging for it. Fantastic prospects for England in the future

Great observation bro. But also what Nwaneri did was what trossard was demanding from his team mates all through the game, arsenal do not switch balls on time, they always allow there opponents to know when they want to switch, the manner in which they switch passes over to the other side of the pitch is just too slow, allowing their opponent to read them easily. I watch Madrid, Barca, Liverpool. They switch so fast. I just hope they learn from just that great pass by rice.

The way Nwaneri carries the ball frankly reminds me of Lionel Messi. Havertz wishes he was as technical on the ball as Nwaneri, and I have no problem saying that. Nwaneri is growing in confidence and strength and he’s starting to make those successful darting runs slicing through the defense dribbling past two or three players. That kid is a monster in the making. It’s only a matter of time before the flashes start becoming commonplace. And he can do it from the wing or the false 9 position.

Zubimendi is penciled in for Partey in the summer. And as much as Partey had a blinder of a game today, he has a mistake in him in every game. Occasionally its costly, but more often he gets away with it. But its there. That aside, rumour is that he's on his way to Saudi in the summer. Arsenal won't give him that kind of money or that long a contract. Don't forget, at the end of last season, when a new contract could have been on the table, he was actually quite poor.

The same happened at the end of Pep's run at Barca, teams just started watching for certain points when the Barca players slowed then took a step forward to stand on them. We just didn't wait for them to slow down, Martin was leading the press like a terrier not giving them a second on the ball and they all panicked. How does it go? Sad to say but today is another proof that Foden for all his talent is not a game changer. He often goes missing when he should stand up and be counted. Foden comes to life when momentum has changed in his teams favour. He will shine against the lesser teams and when city( or England) are in the ascendancy but will not take the game by the scruff of the neck and win it for you. That is why Guadiola and Tuchel CANNOT build their teams around him. De Bruyne and Silva are but they are not at that level any more.
Arteta has done more for Arsenal and England in discovering raw English talent than Wenger ever did

This could be like '89, the greatest title race of all time. Start of the season our team filled with kids (yes, we won it with kids years before Alan Hanson famously predicted in '92 "you can't win nothin' with kids!") racing ahead only to be caught and overtaken, before getting the impossible result at your gaff to win the closest title race in professional top-flight English football history not on goal difference but by goals scored, I think we scored 8 more over the season (but don't quote me on that). I'm just hoping we can keep up with you guys, even if we don't win it believing we can and trying is the best way to make sure we stay in the 4, and gives us a better chance in the Champions League, and you never know because 6-9 points is not always a massive lead. I hope we can take this form up to the Toon in the week, I imagine the Geordies have got squeaky bums now.

Manyoo paid 25K a week for average arsenal wonderkid Ayden Heaven
While Arsenal only pay only 900 a week for Miles Lewis Skelly.
The level is far different about talent & money . Heaven wants money , Miles-Lewis Skelly only wants to play football

Shows how desperate they are that they'd turn to poaching our players rather than rely on their supposedly famous youth academy.

MLS will be paid in his next contract. The rest chased easy quick money. Possibly giving Utd resell value like Hutchinson & Chelsea. MLS will be compensated in his next contract.

I know Nwaneri doesn’t have the physique for it, and maybe it would waste all his other skills, but seeing his ball striking makes me wish he'd get a chance to play upfront as a striker, especially once Saka comes back.

@hamsemg4118 I fear that a still developing 18 year old, built as he is, playing in the hyper rough English league (compared to Spain, or the Bundesliga), with referees named Michael Oliver...
By the way, Santi Cazorla broke down. So did Tomas Rosicky. Eduardo. Traitor Van Persie for the first 4 years of his Arsenal career couldn't stay fit.

@@adrianpillai6645I was thinking the same thing then I realised Saka is better suited to be a 9 than Nwaneri is. Saka is stronger can hold up play brilliant off ball movement experienced in the press can shoot with both feet and is creative enough to drop into midfield or out wide to cross the ball.

To be reasonable about this, Arsenal weren't great for an hour of the game. Gifted the first goal, the second was a deflection, they let a rather labouring City back into the game. Arsenal showed little idea or direction or ambition. Then Arsenal got a 3rd goal - think the keeper could have done more... but then City literally fell to pieces and gave up, then Arsenal started toying with City. But I didn't see ANYTHING from Arsenal which showed they know how to win a league... their lack of ambition and risk taking was so clear.
