This certainly stands apart from other brass libraries. There's such a sense of realism to it, and I like the somewhat softer sound.
IMHO this is a must buy. Thanks for the review, Don.😃

Thanks for this review, Don. I appreciate your point of view as a euphonium player yourself. I was a trumpet player in high school. I bought this library immediately, and I am very happy with it. I have several libraries with solo brass. This is the most realistic, with the “golden” tone I had aspired to achieve (at the time, I didn’t understand that a cornet or a flugelhorn would’ve been a better choice for the sound I wanted). The sound immediately reminded me of the movie “Brassed Off”, and indeed, some of the players who recorded this library had also played in the Grimethorpe Colliery Band, the South Yorkshire band featured in the movie.

I'm no expert, just an occasional indie soundtrack composer, but this is the most realistic sounding solo brass library I've ever heard. Thanks for the review and demo!

Bought this for the incredible tone and timbre of this conical bore brass library. Most all orchestral brass libraries feature trumpet with its harsher cylindrical bore sound rather than cornet for that note range. As a lifelong cornet player, this is the most realistic sample library of that instrument that I have ever heard. And the rest of the instruments sound just as mellow and sweet. And then there is the smart legato!

@@micheleduritto It sounds to me like Don has been using AI to replace his voice again :D He's done that in the past so I wouldn't be surprised. His voice does sound different here.
