- Bonnie Elizabeth Parker and Clyde Chestnut Barrow were an American criminal couple who traveled the Central United States with their gang during the Great Depression. The couple were known for their bank robberies, although they preferred to rob small stores or rural funeral homes.
Infamous villans the likes of Machine gun Kelly , Pretty bow Floyd, and Baby face Nelson show how hard , mean and desperate you have to be to earn the title of Public enemy.

Good production. So glad you got the details correct with Bonnie's injury being that of battery acid spilling on her leg instead of burning by fire. So many historians get this detail wrong. Part of her leg was basically eaten by acid almost to the bone.
i heard it was to the bone in some bone in some areas, and she needed help bathing the rest of her short life, which must have been very hard/humiliating for her
I know this story well. Well, who doesn’t? But this rendition really held my attention all the way through. At the end, I swear I said to myself, “Damn, that was really good storytelling!” First rate presentation! So refreshing. Good job, mates!
This was by far the absolute best depiction of Bonnie and Clyde that I've ever seen.🏆
I agree 💯👍🏾
Yep.
Completely skipped over Stringtown and Ralph Fults. But it wasn’t bad. For what it is. It’s tacky so I had to try to look at it with a different eye to accept it, and B+C was probably the best or at least one of the top two of Natural Born Outlaws series but I still miss many of the older depression outlaw documentaries between the last 25-30 years up to now.
Clyde might have won a medal of honor in the Marines if he had gone down a different path
this was really fun. I love the acting. So much more entertaining than narration and stock photos.
The actors in these productions are top notch.
Many people back then, and some even now, think of John Dillinger, Al Capone... and Clyde Barrow whenever they see a Tommy Gun. But Clyde's favorite weapons was a Remington scatter gun (shot gun) or the BAR (Browning Automatic Rifle), which fired 30. caliber rifle rounds, which will outgun local law enforcement officers every day of the week.
A BAR is clambered to use 30.06 ammo,a lot more powerful than .30 caliber ammo.
This is very good thanks so much 😊
They did kill humans.. but they did love each other..
Very Well Done piece! Is it just me or did Clyde’s Nephew seem proud of Clyde?
I caught that too.
@@mikeaustin3485 Buddy loves his uncle.
You forgot the letter Clyde wrote to Mr. Ford thanking him for making the V8 automobile.
John Dillinger.
You are correct. I was wrong.
Maybe Clyde wrote one too... But that was Dillinger...
@@berryscott3590Clyde definitely did write a letter about the V8.
We don’t know if it’s true because Mr. Ford allegedly got letters from many criminals or something so it might be fake
Total bullshit,Clyde wasn't born bad,he was turned bad by a sick system ,yes,he he wanted revenge--what was done to him to cause that hate?
Well basically: 1. That Texas ranger (who said that "those werent just kids
but killers") had killed something like 59 people before them - which made
him a "legend" in the eyes of his fellow officers, 2. The system turned
a car thief into a murderer, 3. With Clydes backround he's only cards
in life were to either live as a poor and die of hunger or this.
I love this new series!
Thank you 💕
My great grandma was first cousins with Bonnie. They grew up together. Crazy I have this DNA in me
You r beautiful just like bonnie.

She wasn't holding a shotgun. She was holding a sandwich. Basically shot them in the back. Then bragged about it.
Excellent video
I like the style of this series
This was Hella good
Very well done! I often wonder if they filmed the whole shooting and only released the outcome...
This was one of the best presentations I have seen on Bonnie and Clyde. Well done, focused on a verity of people well, great acting, pictures, filming, music, etc. Very well done indeed!!
watched a couple of these, alvin karpis and this one, excellent with the facts and debunking the myths. i believe it was blanche barrow (bucks wife) who would later say their life on the run was anything but glamorous, stuck packed in a car for hours on end, always looking over their shoulder. what's interesting is how they always seemed to draw attention to themselves despite their situation, early on they could depend on the help of strangers, after joplin mo. their situation became dire.
I quess they loved the publicity since they could have used something to
cover up their faces and so on. There were no DNA/fingerprint registers,
cellphones (to track), or ways to identify a certain firearm from
fragments or fibre analysis etc. so they could have just play without
creating waves.
These actors/actresses are always excellent.
My great grandfather was officer Harryman that was killed in Joplin
Sorry to hear that your great grandfather was killed.
Look at the windshield on Bonnie's side of the death car! 42:03 and especially 42:41 Somebody in the Hamer' and sheriff's crew had "no problem shooting a woman" contrary to what is reported in this video...
They turned those poor kids into swiss cheese. There was no mercy. They could have shot both those kids in the head. Nope they just pumped them full of lead. No better than the so called Outlaws Bonnie and Clyde.
In real life those officers would have shoot only from one side (not at each
other from two sides of a tiny road = crossfire).
2. The ledrounds and buckshots will pass through a car and bounce/fragment
all around in a way you cant predict (here in Finland the military is mandatory
so i know).
I read Clyde tried to join the navy as a teenager but was rejected he couldn't get a break
I would like to see more of the historical photos of Bonnie and Clyde and less of dramatic enactments and cartoons. One photo speaks a thousand words and gives insight that actors and cartoons can never do.
Only less than twenty minutes into the video, and can't handle the pronunciation of East-ham.
A damn good book about the Gang is Go Down Together by Jeff Guinn. Highly recommended it!
There are no counties in Louisiana, they are called Parishes.
I wonder if they knew Frank Hamer was on their trail
Clyde took pride in his killings. Legend and lore have always tried to paint a different picture, but his actions speak allot louder than those words. When you leave a trail of bodies behind you, you're a murderer - period.
kill so as not to be killed... sure, the two chose the wrong path, but they were bad times. I don't want to say that they are heroes, but they were also victims.

How exciting.
I think Bonnie & Clyde would have gotten away for awhile if not forever, if they just cut ties with everyone including their family. Badass people who died a badass way. Feel terrible because I rooted for them kinda, even though I knew they would die. Anyways the wages of sin is death and they have paid for all the lives they took and families they destroyed. End…
And the policemen they killed while robbing people? You root for the murdering criminal to get away?
Well that's a bar in your hand buddy not a Thompson lol
My grandma was Ma Barker.
B&C were able to elude capture for one reason...they had B A R's and plenty of ammo ...!

Interesting/informative/entertaining. Excellent still -motion photography pictures 📷/drawings/reenactments/guest speakers sharing personal knowledge pertaining to the criminal life style of Bonnie and Clyde along with associates. Unfortunately family members were sentenced to jail time. For aiding & abetting during visits with the out laws. Wishing viewers a safe/healthy/prosperous(2024) 🌈🎉💵😉.
I believe it is awesome to see any family member or decendant in old photos or film. Especially if it falls into our own family tree. I believe if a person feels comfortable pointing this out on social media, it is not an attempt to be noticed. It is simply just a way to point out a fact. I wish people didn't always feel the need to attack another person. Be nice. It comes back full force.
'My karma ran over my dogma' ;)
Yes. Perfect. LOL
Dont be gullible. Most are lying. Or just listening to an old family fable.
With all of the craziness happening in the world, who really cares anyway? Why would it matter? It is simply an interesting fact. Whatever....in my opinion. Such a insignificant thing to worry about, whether or not, if someone is making up their own truths. Believe it or don't and move on.
The prison must have been an evil place for him to return and free prisoners and shoot guards. This is the place that brutalised him.
I really'd like to the illustrations the drawings um are too like um Pictures that were on this video but I remember Faye John away and Warren baby in the title rolls great great movie awesome film was I who a lot of the viewers of this would remember that movie is well it's great to watch good job keep it up

Warren and Faye were drop dead beautiful!
True, but they did not really tell the story of Bonnie and Clyde. True Crime Central did.
That wasn't justice. That was revenge.
They would have faced the gas chamber or electric chair eventually so they just had their sentences carried out a little earlier.
Clyde didn't want to go back to prison anyway.
Revenge is the oldest and ultimate form of justice.

Fun to watch. I don't like how they depicted Bonnie sitting in the front seat of the car with a shotgun on the day of the ambush. All of their guns and ammo were in the back of the car.
They both had a firearm in the front seat at the ready. As wanted fugitives, they were often on the lookout while traveling in their (stolen) cars. They had made it very clear that they would rather go down fighting than surrender. Since Clyde was always the driver, Bonnie had to have his back, especially if it was just the two of them. Later, the coroner uncovered a handgun that each had hidden on their person.
@@musicaltheatergeek79 That is _absolutely_ untrue. Read the definitive book by Jeff Guinn _Go Down Together_ . . . they most assuredly did _not_ have firearms at the ready in the front seat. You're just repeating lines from the ambush team, who deliberately obfuscated the truth of the ambush [that they just opened fire] because it was not considered cool, even then, to ambush a woman.
@@SECRETARIATguy224 She had a small pistol near her and a half eaten sandwich on her lap.
@@musicaltheatergeek79 They had just picked up their lunch in Gibsland and thought they were on their way to pick up Henry Methvin [who had betrayed them]. Clyde had his shoes off like normal . . . Hamer's ambush plan had worked perfectly. Neither Bonnie nor Clyde had any idea it was all a setup. In fact, Prentiss Oakley fired too early [nervous], and his shot actually killed Clyde instantly. His foot slipped off the clutch. The car started rolling down the road. The posse thought Clyde was getting away; they had no idea he was already dead. Bonnie let out a bloodcurdling scream because Clyde was dead and now she knew she was gonna die. Bonnie was still clutching a sandwich in her hand when she died.
@@shooterqqqq No she did not have a pistol in the front seat. All firearms were in the back seat. That detail was deliberately added by the posse [along with other accounts that they shouted "Halt" and other such nonsense] to obfuscate the fact they had opened fire on a woman without any opportunity given to surrender, which was considered a no-no even then. If it had been Clyde only, there wouldn't have been any such chicanery.
Some say banjo music was blasting from their radio when they was kilt.
It was actully a Rolling Stone's CD.
Why does Bonnie have black hair? She was a natural blonde who dyed her hair red while on the run.
Does it matter? They're ACTORS.
@@mrsx7944 I think he has a valid point. She was also very attractive. I guess if theey're only actor's, Bonnie could of been played by an old, bearded man then ?
@@HTJB60 hair color is irrelevant. It doesn't take away from the character at all
From the reading that I have done on these two, Barrow was thought to have been a repressed homosexual. It made him into a bitter little man due to his own self loathing.
When I was little, In 1967', We took a vacation to Northern Minnesota to go fishing. We ran into an old Lakota Native that showed us a bill of sale to a property of 20 acres with a six room cabin, lodge that had 7 out buildings on it for $3,500. Showed it to us. Had Clyde's signature on the bill of sale. Story went;
Bonny & Clyde knew they had to disappear if they wanted to live. They told everyone they were moving to Florida but, In reality they were going north to Canada's Lake of the Woods.
That sounds like nonsense. There's no way he'd sign his real name when he's on the run.
@@mrsx7944 Doubt he ever had that much money, either.

HERE'S A STRANGE FACT
Bonnie
Blanche
Clyde
All 3 couldn't have kids.
Buck was never mentioned. 🤷
Bonnie wanted a 👶 with Clyde but her mom said you had surgery or a sickness so she couldn't bare child.
Buck had kids he was a deadbeat dad. Blanche adopted later in life, I think she couldn't have kids because her first husband made her miscarry. Bonnie might have been pregnant at time of death
Bonnie loved bad boys that what she wanted to be with her husband was a bad guy so she found Clyde he was.up her alley

Bonnie can't have babies her mom told her that. Clyde couldn't either. Neither could Blanche.
Clyde's weapon of choice..the BAR .. Browning automatic rifle.. which unlike the ,45 ACP Tommy gun.. the b a r fired 30-06 high power rifle bullets.. which could penetrate a car body back then.. most local sheriffs and cops only had a 38 revolver which was not even 38 special back then.. it was 38 S&w .. a very anemic round

Had relation that knew them or were around when they robbed places. They tell a different story?
Clyde hardly ever robbed a place. He was always the driver because he cut off his own toe in prison to get out of work detail. He was very cold just the same
When Bonnie got her first taste of blood, She would kill everyone in the place they robbed & left one person to tell the tale. In the movie with Faye Dunaway, Faye reads the original poem word for word that Bonnie sent to the Chicago sun.
When they killed people apperently killing common people took no interest. It wasn't untill they started killing cops that they became famous.
They were killed not because they needed to catch them. They were killed because the law was sending out a message to everyone.
YOU MESS WITH THE LAW. This is what happens to you.
Had a friend in Dexter Iowa who died but, He was working at the Farmer Grange there at the edge of Dexter Iowa. He had just stepped out in a rainy morning to use the he outhouse in the rear of the bank. When he was coming back in he ran into Buck. Buck took him for a milkman as he was wearing a white shirt and had a cap on. Buck told him to get lost & that they didn't need milk today. As he was walking down the back steps, Bonny had opened up & killed everyone in that bank. She told a ten year old boy, Who was the only one alive,
Tell them the Barrow gang made a withdrawal. Clyde had turned Bonnie into a serial killer.
This is why they had to be stopped. Killed!
