I think that we can all agree that Victor deserves the Nancy Drew award for "Culprit Who Foiled Their Own Plot More Than Any Other Culprit in Nancy Drew History."
It just baffles me enough the stupidity victor has and even nancy points out that he literally got away with it had it not been for him hiring nancy
when even nancy pointed it out that's how you know he deserves the award
#25: "Either that, or she's pretending their 'Creature of Kapu Cave' makeovers never happened." AREN'T WE ALL?
Leah Villanueva no, why?
They looked hideous, lol!
@@leahvillanueva5402 They do look pretty bad but I think that People are just exaggerating how They looked like but They definitely looked so much better in Last Train to Bluemoon Canyon and Midnight in Salem
I know there are tons of things wrong but the thing that always bugged me most is Nancy and Ellie not following up on each other after they were locked up in the lab and booth.
The second Mason appeared on screen I clearly heard "Mason is a jerk" in my head.

In the blooper scenes, it's revealed that Deirdre made Nancy sound like an incompetent detective in her reference. Victor thought that because of this, she wouldn't solve the case. It's why he kept getting angrier the farther Nancy delved into the case, why he wanted to keep her out of the lab, and tried to kick her off as soon as he could. Deirdre is lucky that he go caught or she'd probably be his next victim for lying to him. I still don't know why Victor called Deirdre for the reference, though.
Though, the police had already closed the investigation, pretty well satisfied that Ryan was the culprit, if memory serves. Why risk hiring a separate detective at all? Forgive me if I'm mistaken, I haven't played this game in a while.
So not only did Victor choose to hire a detective when he could have gotten away with the murder, but he only gave credence to Deirdre's reference and no one else's? Not very clever of him at all.
My assumption which could be totally wrong is that in order to legally claim Niko's research he needed to be cleared of all suspicion or something along those lines. True, he could sell it on the black market but that would only place all the suspicion on him when the others see all the research disappear immediately after he left. I mean the research might have been his to claim after Niko's death but he probably just needed a complete closure to the case to ensure he can't be discovered before the legalities of the unclaimed research are finalized. Still, a dumb motive though considering the closure he got should have given him a clear victory over the research rights but who knows.
An alternative reason might be the needed Nancy to find Niko's lab to find all the research (out of greed or what Niko left behind was inadequate) and thus he allowed her to do all that just to find a way to Niko's secret hiding spots. Either way, he's still a moron but hey at least he tried?
@@TangledHeart828 Nancy Says about dying that it only takes Once more like A Trillion times since She somehow can come back to Life with The Second chance Button
I want more of Frank basically confessing his love for Nancy, I NEED more of that cuteness.
Heidi Barker Yes!! Me too!!
Isabela Archila agreed, let's start a petition. Or I'll just could just rely on fanfics and imagination.
She is in a relationship with a wonderful man. While I think Ned deserves better, Nancy is an idiot if she leaves him.
@@englishatheart Ned definitely deserves better Nancy treats Him like trash for no reason all of The time in The Her Interactive Nancy Drew Games
I love that phone message scene at the end! I'm pretty sure it's only on the bonus edition though.
A 23-minute video and 60 comments and NO ONE is gonna talk about how Frank nearly professes his love for Nancy at the end of the game?!?! The message getting cut off is such a tease. Her Interactive plays with my emotions once again!
Finally! This literally bugged me more than anything, it was so random at first. It's too much to ask but I kinda wanted her to leave Ned then and there, lol. Thank you for mentioning it. ^^
He also started to admit something in Trail of The Twister (I think?), but changed his mind. HER certainly is a tease at times.
@@sassykat2587 Ned is the perfect boyfriend and Nancy's an idiot if she leaves him. And if she did, at least she should go for Joe, the Hardy who's funny and has good hair. :-P
Personally I agree. At least Joe has a sense of humor, and he's my favorite, but from a logical view Nancy would likely go for Frank. Both their strong points focus on being fairly rational and confident. I just think Ned needs a bit more character instead of waiting around for Nancy to call, or if they could actually go on a case together. I respect your opinion nonetheless. ;)
I always thought they could be cute other than the fact they are cousins in laws by marriage
10:36 I think Ryan was saying that it was the "best course of action" to assume that she was guilty, not that it was the best course of action to not be sorry.
As someone from Colorado, where this game is supposed to take place, it's not uncommon for snow not to melt on clear sunny days, particularly in the mountains. I had a yard of snow way into May one year, when the last snowstorm was in April
Briana Lambert very true I live in Colorado as well. My name is Breanna also 🙂. However I feel like the snow that stays a long time is usually the wet spring snow, not the dry fall/winter snow. Depending on how far in the mountains they are though, it could be sunny but still too cold to melt the snow.
I suppose we can't know for sure, because Nancy's weather app doesn't say what the temperature is. Still, the layout of the snow should at least change a little from people entering and exiting the building every day.
@@arglefumph So Victor gets knocked out by The Coil but Nico got killed by it so how does that make any sense at all?
If there's anything that these videos have shown me, it's that they were REALLY getting strapped for ideas at Herinteractive, and they were putting too much focus on endless puzzles instead of active mystery solving and sleuthing like the first handful of games did. I hope Herinteractive realizes this and that's why they're sinking so much time into Midnight in Salem. It would be absolutely refreshing to see the games go back to being about finding clues and making your own interpretations as the story progresses, compared to endless puzzles.
is there something up with the volume? it's a little too quiet
It's too soft? But I purposely raised the volume level to "twice as high as the last Everything Wrong With video"! Why doesn't video editing work the way it's supposed to?
must be something else, I know it's not my computer that's the issue
It’s definitely a bit low
Your voice's volume sounds fine, but the game's volume seems low in contrast.
#9 and #103- One thing you're forgetting is that Victor doesn't want Nancy to solve the case. He wants her to pin it on Ryan. That's why he doesn't let her look at the crime scene, and that's why he tries to scare her off when she starts making legitimate progress.
There's a "Bang head here" poster right outside Nancy's room so I think someone who was just stressed or frustrated went there to relieve that rather than Victor going there to scare her. and I think Ryan was saying the smartest course of action was thinking she was guilty, not the saying sorry bit hehe fun video!
Michael did you forget Gray’s fairy foot steps?? 😂
I didn't want to fat shame the poor fellow.
Excellently skewered!
I love this game - it's one of my favorites - but I won't deny it's a sinful one. Thanks for the 24 minutes of laughing.
Nothing like the Nedly device
112 That is something that bothered me right from the start. XD I was searching everywhere looking for Elle like: but she's stuck too isn't she? Shouldn't we help her? Where is she?!?! XDXD Sorry Elle, not my fault Nancy doesn't care about you...xD
This game is one big love letter to the Captive Curse
We made the Tesla coil play "Ode to Joy". Just because.
Why does Ryan look like Bess with George's hair?
Nancy Drew #27: Bess displays her homemade George cosplay.
Probably because the animation department decided to base their model off of Bess and George? I wouldn't be surprised if that was the case.
Ryan was my favourite char in this game. I liked her Gummy Bear plays.
I would call that a winter sweater, but maybe niko is just festive and wants to celebrate Christmas in October 😂 you do you, Niko
Also in the photo lab, when you go into the vent and back into the lab, the oxygen bar is full again
It would be a neat little easter egg if they brought Ryan back as a person to call in later games (if there are any more, ofc). Adorkable Ryan and the whole 'Tesla/sci-fi vibe' are the only reason I played.
Should've sinned the comment section next to the Epic Dork Fight video. "HER Interactive thinks 'H@ H@' is how anyone would type out laughter in online chat, EVER. Much less that they'd be doing it in 2012."
I have to disagree with #206. I thought it was a pretty epic dork fight. :p
Here are a couple more I thought of:
-Nancy doesn't shake Ryan's hand when Ryan puts her hand out. That was quite rude of Nancy.
-Another thing about #21: Mason says Niko was a jerk. That's a very hypocritical thing for a jerk like Mason to say. (But then I guess jerks do tend to be hypocritical).
-Why is Mason's mousepad the cover of Sonny Joon's journal?
-Another example of Gray being bad at his job (#40) - he frequently leaves his office and leaves it unlocked when he does so.
-If you take too long to do the puzzle that saves Mason, he makes the weirdest gurgling death noises. It made me jump out of my seat when I first heard it. lol.
-There is a bunch of shredding in the shredder and Nancy only takes some of it. How does she know which exact pieces of shredded paper are the ones that Gray just got done shredding?
-This one I actually caught from watching an Arglefumph walkthrough so I'm surprised it isn't here: The Biometrics book has the definition of biometrics on page 42. What are the first 41 pages about???
-This isn't really a "sin" but it is kind of funny: If you still have stuff you need to do in Niko's office you have to ask Ryan to distract him again right after she shows you her chart. She shows the chart and tells Nancy how soul-crushing it is for her to keep getting yelled at by Victor and the next thing Nancy says is that she needs Ryan to distract Victor yet again. Poor Ryan. lol.
#34 - someone tell him just because it's sunny, it doesn't mean it's snow melting conditions
There is sun + negative celsius (aka below freezing) temperatures existing
It's A common Cliche for The Elevator to break down in Superhero and Horror Games
this game is definitely one of my least favourites. it’s just uninteresting until the very end, but to get to the end you have to suffer through so much boring stuff
“Victor is an idiot.” That’s an understatement.
" How could POTENTIAL buyers cut ACTIVE FUNDING?"

Just found your channel, and I'm loving your videos! I loved Nancy Drew games as a kid, and I'm just recently getting back into them (playing them on Steam). 😄
Also, how is Victor alive after being electrocuted by the coil? I still really like this game.
# 199 people sometimes do stupid, irrational things if their reason is overcome by emotion. But I agree, going into an unprotected area where an active Tesla coil that has been known to have recently killed someone is firing ranks at the bottom of idiocy
Don't forget at the end when Gray confronts Mason scene reused from Shadow at the Water's Edge. 209 problems. Same sentence.
Awesome video as usual
I still think this one is one of the most underrated games in the series
I think we can all agree we’re pretending the hardy boys makeover in CRE never happened.
So when you get down to it, "Everyone is a jerk." 😂😂
When there was a power outage in the game, it made the sky dark.
The reason for that is the outage occurred at night
Watch the walkthrough and look at the clock at that point of the game.
@@danielchilmerican535 you're right. My mistake.
I've been waiting for this video.
You forgot to mention how horrible the binary puzzle was. Or was that just me who had trouble?
There should be one for masons abnormally large and shiny forehead
You really need to crange up the volume on this video. My volume is at 100 and i can barely hear you.
Yesss same! Then the ads came, and blasted in my ear and I was all AHH!!!😂
i have a feeling you don't like hard mints
Grey's door locks by turning the knob to the opposite side. I have one of those in my house.
That makes a lot of sense as to why Ellie got trapped inside. (Which I didn't know happened until I watched this video... Whenever I played, I didn't see any point in using the intercom.)
Actually, in the final part of the game where Victor gets electrocuted, the Lighting rod diverts the arcs so I think Nancy would be in the clear to get out and shut off the system like she did a couple times before.
6:31 Monika from Doki Doki Literature Club.
What do you mean you don't have theme music? Lol. First. Also, Yay! The ghost of Thornton hall is next!
New Nancy drew show everyone hate Deirdre coming soon 😂
Appreciation for closure
I think ryan is hot!
We need a new Nancy Drew game!
The sound is very low
They don't show it but I think the candy thing in Niko's office has pressure plates so it closes once you lift a candy off its plate. He's a genius so it's possible.
Surprised Nancy didn't lose a hand, then
8:35 because he's lonely XD
I just finished watching Michael's first playthrough of this game w Phoenix!!! I MISS PHOENIX LOL CAN I FOLLOW HER SOMEWHERE????!!!
are we just going to ignore how michael pronounces crayon???
cran
Nancy sounds kinda like Rocky the Squirrel in this game
I love the intro 😂
Obvious Suspect Alert!!!
Elllie controls the game ?....SHES MONIKA
Dude, you need to tweak your recording. What's usually medium-loud volume settings for most other videos is pretty quiet for this. Add some pre-amp or something, depending what you mix/edit with
This is hilarious
Can anyone tell me if the message from the Hardys during the outtakes is exclusive to the bonus edition or not? I don’t have the message from the Hardy Boys on my game, and I’m trying to figure out if it’s because I have to do all of the awards to unlock it or because I don’t have the bonus edition.
WHERE is the fact that if you beat Mason at aggregation, you don't even get an achievement for it?? Probably an hour of my life wasted for not even a sliver of pride handed to me. Smh.
27 though........... lmao
He put her in the cage so she wouldn't be able to escape or run away to call for help.
Aditya Upadhye How was he planning to kill her? Starvation?
No, the cage wouldn’t hold forever, it would eventually break down and Nancy would die from electrocution
Jcat Nguy You do realize that cage was by scientists to protect them? Imagine how long that would take. Couldn't he had just tied her up, or even kill her when she was, I don't know, UNCONSCIOUS.
Alice The Kitty I know that. I think the point was, and this could be totally wrong it was a just the way I thought it was, that Nancy would endure a mentally painful and long death while waiting for the cage to break and kill her.
Like I said though that was just my personal interpretation. It could be totally off.
