It was always a pleasure to play at St. Paul FBH with Joe Wilson, Melvin Smith, Keith Marshall, Kyama, Jeff Davis and a host of others. St Paul was almost like a proving ground. You either proved you could or you COULDNT! I came up a lot learning a huge amount from Joe "Flip" Wilson and Jeff Davis. After their lessons I then went on to accompany some pretty BIG names in music history. AL SMITH also taught me about amps and cabinets and I learned a lot form him on BASS. Great guys Great players!!

I was at the service...I was already a HUGE Jeff Davis and Flip Wilson fan, but I didn't know Kyama. He beasted that Hammond crazy! I'd be curious to find out what he's doing now. And that "Yes to That Home" project is still on cassette in my truck in remains in the deck. With all the CDs and MP3s I have, that tape STILL gets play like once a week.

Play Joe...half of this must be recorded in piano because he took his keys of the keyboard three times and the music kept going. Smith boys are doing their thing on the bass and electric guitars
