Got a successful Yi Ling Trap Makes taming super easy Build a 2x2 stone foundation and 2 high tall door frames (not regular not double the one in between) Stand out side the trap and get pelted with feathers after hitting 30 run inside the trap. The yi ling will dive bomb and get caught in the door frame giving extra time to throw the plant Z and prevent the yi ling from hitting When the yi ling lands to peck you DO NOT go inside the trap If you prevent it from having a clear path to you can cause it to bug out and either stop flying preventing the tame or to run away Happy Surviving Mate
tbh the best shinepet is actually the bulbdog. 1. its omnivore so super easy to raise, and 2. it can easily hold a cap of meat/bunch of hide etc. where as the other shinepets only just provide light and can bairly hold much in their inventory, and now with the new embryo incubator its even better now.
Cosmos shoots light infused webs automatically on your shoulder like a little turret or while in shooter mode on your arm.. The light infused webs apply the debuff to nameless and such just like a glowpet..
Here's a tip: Swap out your QOL+ mod for Cybers Structures since QOL+ has been abandoned (last I checked). Cybers is also a fork of S+, and the dev is VERY active.
Edge 1 is my base and its great. Only down are the pyromanes (they should be removed from ab) and yi lings. But other than that its great. Tons of trilobites so I already have a ton of pearls (silica/black) and oil. Plus lots of metal nodes.

I have like 10K hours of ASE, really cranked up those hours during covid 😂 and I know a lot about the game, but, it amazes me that every once in a while, there's a detail i have missed during all these Ark years...and that was the lay down while recovering stam reduces food/water consumption...had no idea 😂 awesome tip
Not sure if it was said or not but laying down will also bring your stamina up faster then just standing still. Great video teach much love. Cheers..!!
All Rock Drake nests are glitchy... Go Back till the skeleton skull and 3 nests Minimum are respawned. But i figured Out, that fsr messed Up the gliding from drakes for a bunch of gamers. Hope they fix it.
For Cosmo, it isn't necessarily left ctrl, but your MELEE keybind. I use left ctrl for prone, and set my melee as N, and N works to pull me. Same with Pyromane tame, it's melee + left click on keyboard + mouse.
Bulb dogs are actually the best light pet as they have the highest charge capacity, arguably the best stat to have in order to keep nameless away for as long a possible, shine horn are second best as instead of being the best in one stat and the worst in the other, they are even across all and therefore are a "jack of all trades," meaning they are good for capacity, charge rate and radius, but once you have higher level pets its depends one whichever is cutest lol
Bulbdogs have the highest capacity, but the slowest recharge. Personally, I like a good bred Featherlight with a few extra points in regen, as they'll regen crazy fast while also having a good radius.

@@mc-kevi best to just set traps far ravagers and raptors. Put windows in the walls so you can hit them with a slingshot. Getting wild babies is convenient but sheer luck, especially with good levels. With traps you can pick em.
@@mc-kevialso tame a moschops, parasaur, ect to mass harvest narcotics. Ravagers are ideal metal gatherers and can walk on ziplines. That makes moving from redwoods to the metal rich blue zone easy. Build a metal or stone trap for the spino. Tranq out a breeding pair and you're set. Get a few tamed or bred, then get a reaper impregnation. Nothing crushes rock drake trenches like a reaper.
I know the whole fill yourself with meat and the baby reaper will kill and farm your body taking the inventory but that’s broken atm. The baby reaper can’t hit the player and the player gains hp too fast before the baby can even get a hit on you nor can it farm the dead bodies
You should.try norwegian vikings server. It's based on official but a bit more rate boosted just enough to make it less tedious but still work. And people are generally friendly😊
Why is the pink water insta death in the rad I lost a really good max lvl tame there a darn king smacked me and my tame in it and we both were killed as if the rad zone wasn't difficult enough as is
i play on singleplayer, and i havent touched my harvest rate for the char (only slightly bumped for dinos) but man im not getting anywhere close to the rates Teach is getting for those bones and Trees (on the no nameless ledge).. i get about 1-130 keratin for large bones and maybe 80-100 wood wierd

Light bugs arnt spawning fully in the blue zone you see just the light no bug atm. Pearls are no problem at the lake in blue just watch out for eels they spawn in knee high water easy job

2 bad ark has now broken waypoints and its not letting me change the height of waypoints. just another bug added 2 fix their problems of people infi crashing when getting yeeted by grappling hooks
i went to the surface cave you talked about with a chain saw, i didnt get any keratin from the large bones there, and i got only very few with a pic axe i tested 5 different bones of different sizes, it did not matter, i got nothing from them
The super soldier breeds are about to get insane with gene editing lol. I mostly play on unofficial so the lines are typically one-offs (tribes on official have absolutely unholy mutated lines) but imagine the 5 stacks of vampirism on bloodlust and bred Carcha 💀.
Feeding what? It’s pronounced traaf… say it with me “teach” feeding trough (traaf). If you’re gonna make informative videos it’s probably a good idea to pronounce your words correctly.

Additional tip for oil is tame several dung beetles. It's not a ton of oil but every bit helps.

Another way to get oil is having some dung beetles and you don't hardly have to do anything

another tip is when you get that organic poly turn it into soap so you can save it for later then just use a grinder and break it back down into poly

Dung Beetles generate oil in inventory while wondering. Just tame some which is super easy and let them wonder in your base.
Are there any major differences between ase vs asa? I’m playing the old version and I don’t know how viable this info is yet
for oil tame dung beetles, put them on wander, keep empting theirs inventory of fertilizer now and again
and they will end up getting alot of oil

The reaper taming thing is not a glitch... you could do it on ASE and they never "fixed' it.

Game 4-5 high level dung beetles, weight or cage them and put them on wander. 10+ oil per hr and higher levels produce more

I've actually been hitting that ledge for metal without a glow pet , no nameless for me . On unofficial though so idk if that makes a difference
