This is my favourite Junna cover, so fast. With the sticks, I noticed that when practicing she is 'making rice' in reference to all the little bits of wood that end up on the floor off her sticks.
This is the best drum cover from Junna. Why? Because its not a cover. Its a drum arrangement for an original song which is much lighter on the drums side. Other Junna videos she tries mostly to reproduce the original drum tracks. Here she brings in her technical capabilities to make a drum song out of a non drum song. Epic.
The three things I like about Junna is how exact she plays drums to the original (probably has had formal training), how good the audio mix is (drums not overpowering the music she is playing to) and how much fun she has playing the drums. All culminate into an excellent performance.
Here is the band Junna is playing in now. In the outro You can see Junna looks running in a marathon in sprintingpace Bad drummixing and I think she isn't that used to double kickdrums. maybe the toms isn't on the right place. You cant hear her cymbalwork so well... but hey You can't get it all: ruclips.net/video/UFdGNJ2g4ME/видео.html
I noticed on the shorter songs on their channel that they are mixed a lot better, which I assume is what the CD would sound like: ruclips.net/video/WCkGadxGwvk/видео.html Mind you I still listen to the 30 min concert all the time, I think it is great. Even the lead singer does a lot of good covers on her channel that I listen to: ruclips.net/user/KannagiCHANNELvideos
@@redsarge98 Yes but having one kick drum and 2 kickdrums is a different story. Hard to have the toms at the right place and Junna is is missing her famous drumrolls on this video. Not major missing, just slightly and she repair it masterfully but never the less. Don't take me wrong. I love Junna's drum playing as I love another drummer Dainashis awesome drum playing.
2:03 Wait... the movement of the feet seen on the mini screen does not correspond to the movement of the feet on the big screen.. Is that something normal in drum covers? Like, making two recordings and then edit them together into one video so they fit better?
Yes absolutely. There are even some missed snare notes or hi hat notes. Its great you noticed this! a recording smoke n mirrors thing haha she probably does nail it perfectly live but for recordings you wanna get it as tight as possible.
I'm sorry it's taken me soooo long to subscribe. However, seeing this video for I don't know how many times, I have to ask...If you call Yoyoka "The Atomic Clock Of Rock" , shoulden't we call Junna the "Atomic Clock Of Metal"? The absolute joy She portrays while she plays is surpassed by NONE. Please let me know what you think.
I love this idea and am going to incorporate these slogans into a tshirt to wear on stream xD maybe I should sell them too to support the channel haha. Great names for even greater musicians!!!
There is a video of her in school before her first performance video. It's a must see. She is way beyond the drum sets ability she is playing on. She is the heart of Godzilla
Junna loves what she does 😊
This is the best Junna. She is everywhere. It is almost impossible sometimes to predict when and where she will hit.
She always amazes me. I do not know how anyone can play like that, just blows my mind. Thank you for reacting to this video.

I'd never seen this one before, and I thought she couldn't get any better. My bad. She blows me away every single time!

Not as smooth as Yoyoka. Wish all young musicians a bright future
Et que penses-tu de El Estepario Siberiano?
I think he is the best drummer in the world rn.
