I say this every year but Florida seems to have so much potential.. Thayer is looking great, Carlton is bringing some heat. Love the athleticism of Cesar, really knows how to get the ball to the floor. It is the beginning of the season in an 'off year', some of y'all in the comments need to chill or grow up... they just swept them in 3. Changing & playing around with the line-up is normal, especially at the start of a season to give certain players some needed court exposure, why y'all acting brand new? Love to all the players + Mary
Here’s what I think about this. Paige is a great player don’t get me wrong. But she wasn’t as offensive as Ceaser. Last year Florida failed to beat a top ranked team. They can’t rely on hall for a big percentage of their kills. Now they have someone who literally has a rocket for an arm. She can take the highly ranked teams, and I think if ceaser plays front and Paige plays back, this could work out.
Watch the Auburn match on the 22nd. Thayer couldn't put a ball away. Paige came and did great. In my opinion, Ceasar should be replacing Thayer. She is hype. Paige is a great player and should ATLEAST be playing back row. Best server, amazing passer, smart hitter.
Wow I’m genuinely shocked that they did not start Riley Fischer at Libero! I know she has a minor injury and should be fine but so far the Ellie the freshman ds has perfect passing and is amazing. I think Creme is good but she is just getting outplayed.
You guys need to calm down, I'm sorry but I'm gonna say it. Watching Paige Hammons since 2017, yes she is a great passer and digger but Caesar beats her offensively. It wouldn't be a problem if Hammons played back row and Caesar front but Caesar has an arm that can take a ranked team. Hammons choked first Minnesota last season and I know that Caesar can carry a team on her back. That's why I 100% support the change of outside hitters.
Florida has numerous weapons. With the Florida team like this, they are completely unbalanced. Way too much offense. Ceasar is obviously an extremely strong hitter. But her passing is nothing compared to Hammons (the most efficient passer for Florida), and with her serve. You don't need every single hitter to be a driller. It is good to have a 6 rotation, good all around, smart outside to change things up. If anything, I think Thayer and Ceasar should split. Obviously that won't happen, but that makes far more sense to me. Ur entitled to your opinion but my opinion is that Paige is the most important player to have on the court.

The player who has unbelievably good passing, great hitting, amazing serving, I could go on. Every team needs a player like that. For all we know Mary Wise just wanted to get Caesar some playing time and she’s also a great offensive weapon. Wait until they play a more competitive team like Kentucky and see what line-up Mary goes with then.

If you need serve disruption. Paige. If you need good defensive passing. Paige. Im not disliking what Im seeing from this blocking powerhouse Ceaser though. Just feel as if a smarter line up would consist of Paige instead.

100% agree like her defense isn’t bad but i feel like it isn’t as controlled as Hammons but I feel like since it’s the first game it was probably like a learning thing you know. But I was shocked to see Hammons on the side lines I never thought she would be on the sidelines

Some players feel uncomfortable using short pants so they use capri pants, or because of their religion. That has been going for years on international volleyball
Could be for religious reasons but the leggings also help prevent floor burns, are more comfortable, and spandex shorts ride up your butt when moving around constantly and leggings can help prevent that lol. But that’s just what some girls from my team have told me.

poor Paige Hammons. Stepped up last year when the team was down, delivered, and then paid her senior year by sitting on the bench hahaha
She had too many errors though, every time they play a good team she has 2X as much errors.

Auburn’s setter is awful. She shouldn’t be messing up on on those great passes. Good setters in clubs don’t even mess up on those great passes
her hands aren’t clean. Her sets look like doubles and the location/height is awful
