I legit cannot wait to see you at Otakon! Also as a DMV native, and someone who has gone to Otakon for 10+ years) here are some of my tips:
1) Unless you want to, don't drive into DC. The parking at hotels, etc. is a mess (and mainly just really expensive)
2) Try and use vacuum seal bags for your plushies, and maybe let attendees fluff them up (personally I never mind when artists tell me about this)
3) Be wary of wifi at Otakon (seriously every year Saturday's wifi goes very funky because of the mass amount of people in AA so be prepared to tell people to bring cash for Saturday)
4) China town is right near the convention center so don't worry about food (seriously some places are open til like 2 am)
5) BRING SOME SORT OF ELECTROLYTES TO KEEP HYDRATED (last year the DMV got hit by a heat wave so bad that it was around 102 all weekend WITHOUT humidity into account)
6) OTAKON IS EVEN A LOT FOR ATTENDEES BUT YOU'VE GOT THIS!

Hiyaaa! Just saw you were having problems with accepting payments because of wifi. I saw another vendor who used the clover flex. It uses a sim card, so it doesn't need to be connected with wifi and I'm pretty sure offline payments work. Don't take my word, but I'd definitely look into it since a lot of restaurants use them!! Hope everything works out ^^

Animazement and Raleigh conventions in particular, we always come out in droves with max enthusiasm lol. Animazement and Galaxycon Raleigh are the two biggest.
I'm glad you had a good time, WIFI issues aside. I was selling at a nearby market that weekend and a flash storm flooded the parking lot and it was a right mess, so I'm glad the con didn't flood.

What is that purple case called? Is it just a like toiletry case or something? I've never seen one that folds out so much. That's really smart for back-of-table organization.
