Excellent! The Team Associated PRO4 is a real winner for sure. Very well designed truck just like the MT10. They take a beating and run so nice. I can tell your very excited at how well it drives.
Oh yeah bro . The aerial stuff is pretty fun but the wind is always a factor . Usually right before dusk it gets nice and calm and early morining is usually calm around here in Ohio .
I think I'm going to have to do a rival MT10 video, or maybe series at some point. It's another car I keep crossing paths with but keep not buying, I think it's time to fix that.
Oh man! That Pro4 is looking good 🤩 I'm going on 18 months with my Senton and very little down time for sure. The chassis is still pretty tight, shocks and bearings are good etc. I'm not much for big air with it but its an absolute beast on 4s and powerslides everything.
Just check bearing change it before goes bad , the one on the clutch hub inside , it will appear good but when it cause more heat till it’s completely shot usually how the spur and pinion fails
I got a senton during the covid days - my return to RC after 30 years. I was blown away by lipo's and the durability of modern RC's. I pimped up the senton, but have sold that now. However I think I may buy one of these cars - they look amazing and as you reference, the handling looks superb! Looking on line, they are all out of stock! lol Thanks for posting and sharing!
I really appreciate you watching. I hope you find one, it's a must have for an SCT lover. In organized 2s racing, it would be hard to beat straight out of the box.
Got my general tire edition pro4 about a month back. Besides the early low voltage cutoff on 3s it's everything I was hoping for. Just as durable as an arrma and it's very agile for jumping and the track. Probably one of the best short course trucks for getting air with out loosing orientation. It's a bit heavy on its feet but extremely snappy and maneuverable. It's definitely a straight ripper on 3s. Definitely worth it. Cool video 👌👍 happy bashing.
I really can't figure out why it isn't everyone's favorite SCT, especially for the price. The Senton is the only truck in the same price range that can give all the same durability and overall fun.
@@Rek_Rc one truck I was really impressed with back in the day was the racers edge pro2. MSRP was close to TA about 370$ for the truck. I think they went out of business in 2013 or something but for the time, it was probably one of the most durable out there. I bashed the crap out of it on mostly concrete for a couple years and it never broke. I sold it to my brother and he eventually broke it after slamming it into a fence post doing 60. Not sure what happened to that company but they were on point with the design.
I just watched a video about a guy bashing TA for his Pro4 and the early low voltage cutoff on 3s. What exactly is this and is there a resolution? Asking because I'm close to making a purchase. -Thanks, Mike.
You got me back into sct trucks , i went through buggy truggified phase , now thinking of making a 6s senton on a kraton chassis , it will be longer than the original but shorter than the Mojave 6s . The 4s body wheel base is perfect. Sc10 has race DNA that’s why it performs well
With the right body fitment, a Kraton could make an awesome SCT. You're right about the SC10, you do get the feeling that it's built with racing in mind. It's a great balance of racer/basher, but it does have a track truck feel about it.
@@Rek_Rc definitely, I wish I had Losi 8 sct it was a legend “ nitro or electric ⚡️ which was TA competition when sct were popular . Yes I have a kraton with typhon arms , truggy hubs , sit the 4s Mojave body and lines up good . To make it perform like sct , you have use the tall soft shocks but it probably be faster and more intense with truggy setup and just using the body /bumpers , other thing is the senton as close straight cut gears ⚙️ from the senton , the ratio is faster.
Him giggling when you say "sorry Adam"! 😂😂😂 love seeing you guys out there having fun!! Sentons are tanks and your proving that well! Does the pro 4 have a center diff?
We love that the fun translates to others like yourself having fun. Any time we're filming we feel as if you're all there with us and we really hope that comes across to viewers. Thank you for checking it out and commenting, it means a lot to us.
@@Rek_Rcdefinitely that's what makes a rc you tube video different and better than others, some do not understand this and are like "look at me drive my truck". I think this is why Kevin Talbots videos are so successful because you feel like your there also not just watching someone drive a rc truck! The sooner us rc you tubers figure this out, the sooner we will be successful!
Not much more at all, it was about warmer but I could hold my finger on it for a few seconds without burning my fingerprints off. I run the same system on my slash BL-2S and it can break 50 as well with very little heat worries. But it's also 2WD
I was considering what new RC to get and it came down to the SC10 Pro4 or the Senton. Due to the Senton being $150 more in Australia I went with the SC10 Pro4. It will arrive next week. Do have any recommended tires for it?
SCT tires by pro line seem to be well liked. The stock tires are just fine on a hard clay or turf track, but in the loose stuff they have no grip at all.
I see you run on baseball diamonds a lot, have you ever been yelled at about it? I used to run on them until someone mentioned that they might get pissed if they catch me out there
We haven't had any trouble at all yet. But it's a public park and we're usually there when there isn't any baseball or groundskeepers around. So, we may just be unnoticed yet.
You just reminded me I forgot to link the pinion gears, I'll do that here in a bit. But the run time didn't seem to suffer much, if it did at all I didn't notice anyways.
Nice 👍🏾
Thank you! It was a blast filming with these trucks
Ya i really enjoy short course truck too.
They just have their own personality about them.
I have seen plenty guys on youtube tear it up with this PRO4 SC10 is the thing just keeps going!!! Almost unbreakable
Can't believe I passed on it so many times before. I'm glad I have it now!
Excellent! The Team Associated PRO4 is a real winner for sure. Very well designed truck just like the MT10. They take a beating and run so nice. I can tell your very excited at how well it drives.
It's not as clumsy as many other short course trucks. It's almost like driving a big buggy
Oh yeah bro . The aerial stuff is pretty fun but the wind is always a factor . Usually right before dusk it gets nice and calm and early morining is usually calm around here in Ohio .
Yep the wind takes the SC10 more than the Senton for sure as well
Awesome video Johnny
Thank you sir! It's always good to hear from you.
What's up fellas!!!
Awesome video
🔥🔥🔥
Hey brother! I got small but mean Typhon you might like. I'll be up there this weekend.
I have the MT10 with max 10 combo and its great. Might have to get one of these to go with it.

Arrma made a near perfect RC with the Senton. I love it, and holy cow that SC10 was an absolute treat to film with. I would recommend both to anyone
Just check bearing change it before goes bad , the one on the clutch hub inside , it will appear good but when it cause more heat till it’s completely shot usually how the spur and pinion fails
AWESOME 🔥
Thank you buddy!
9:34 looks real👍🏼
These trucks were too much fun. We ran through probably 20 battery packs with them.
Damn 10 sec whipout
We probably did about 30 minutes worth of wiping out hahahaha
That was awesome. I've raced on ball fields before. It's a blast. Like you said rub and bump and keep on racing.
Yep, open wheel cars can't get right on each other like Short Course trucks can during a race.
Yo that wheelie if not first your last the great words Ricky Bobby
"Shake and....BAKE!"

@@scaleworksRC no problem. Thank you for watching and leaving a comment.
The sc10 does a good job with aero, until it doesn't 😆
Yep it's mostly just fine, but a sudden gust of air up under the body can flip you before you can even react.

@@Rek_Rc yea. The way I see it they probably have to clean up the field before the game either way, what do some tire marks hurt anyway.

What wheels are you running on the Pro4??
HPI Jumpshot SC flux wheels, and they are fantastic on the T/A

You do know volunteers usually prep a baseball field for play? Great job tearing it up did you clean it up......
We leave no trace that we were there. But they prep it anyways before use, regardless. It's not volunteers btw, it's country employees.

Taylor farms off 92

Changing the pinion gear does it have less drive time. then do you recommend anywhere you can buy it? I really wanna buy it for my pro 4 sc10 🤩
