There's always a "time for a change" moment that organically happens with almost every coach at every level. If you value winning above all else, it just happens and it's time for the coach to go. They can be the greatest ever, doesn't matter it's time to go. Especially if you have no rings, if you have no rings this is a million times more true. It's a tough job and kinda like a presidency, at the real hot coaching jobs.

I feel like skip is finally realizing what every non-Cowboy fan has known for the last decade or so. The problem is Jerry and his weird devotion to keeping (or at least overpaying) guys that are fine, but not good enough. The issue is, Jerry will keep on being Jerry, he'll massively overpay Dak and probably Coop, and the Boys will lose what actually makes them good, the defense and o-line. And I, for one, can't wait to see this team go 8-8 under some other poor coach.
@Show Genius Fair, they're worth a lot, my worry, if I were a cowboys fan at least, is that both of them get contracts that reset the market and I think that would be a really bad idea. Dak deserves to get paid and he's a solid, franchise QB, but let's face it, he's not Mahomes or Wilson, or probably even Deshaun Watson level, he's not really a game-changer most of the time. I'd say Coop is similar, and the bigger issue is if they both get paid, cap issues could wreck this teams foundations on defense.
I really wish Skip Bayless could pick the coach and all the players so he couldn't have any more excuses when they lose.
