They need to add some kind of movement. I don’t mind the old map, but they need to bring back some kind of vehicle besides the golf carts to be honest, I don’t know why everybody complained about the kinetic blade. It was the best movement tool we had.
Yes, the first weak is most deadly, but one week later the lobbies are easily, i'm playimg 10 matches, and I'm got 3 win, the lobbies are very swaty, my match: landing to paradise palms, and rotate to salty springs in zero build. The map is very open in zero build mode, but the build mode is very good
playing zero build is fine a lot of people prefer playing zero build it’s why it exists just make sure you are in areas where there is a lot of cover because sometimes this OG Map is horrible for zero build too many way open areas so the person with the better aim wins the gun fights

My personal favourite short range way of fighting is traps, either in side a building or a large already-built area, first make sure they have atleast 3 walls around them, then throw a stink bomb and a control grenade and boom, and if that doesn’t work Chuck a few shotgun shells into them aswell

it's a matter of preference bro. you have more range of motion on mouse seeing as you have your entire arm to aim versus only your thumb with a controller. hope this helps a bit. you'll probably be better with the one you started with in the beginning,
Controller cus it has aimbot, you can rebuild the twin towers the second you get shot due to piss poor positioning & let the aim assist do the work for you

I mostly play creative and I try to use the weapons I like (tac shotgun, heavy shotgun, any smg, ext.) are no skill so I just switch them out with slow firing, bad guns and I always lose. Even with those guns I’m still super bad. I feel bad about myself because I’ve been playing for 3-4 years, and my freind joined 3 mounths ago and is now better than me.
i try to practice in ffa creative maps but im always dead before i even see the person that kills me, its sooo frustrating to play dude, i played in like earyly 2018 (season 3-7, whenever that was) but is was absolute ass, coming back for fortnite og is impossible because everyone is like the best player to ever touch the game

It honestly wasn’t bad at all, I got a win my first solo game while still relearning the controls. It was on build mode and I didn’t even have to build a single time lol. The ancient fps trick of crouching during close combat still rolls everyone haha
Seems like winning last season with 12 year old sweat opponents was easier than winning this season with returning veterans as opponents.

play the aim training creative maps and the 1v1 maps, and just build up you’re skill from there
