The problem of having too many heroes is the pain of upgrading them. I have TH12 account and the grind for leveling the heroes is a pain in the ass. The loot and the difficulty of farming is my problem and the max lvl cap of the heroes is too high at the lower THs.
You are lucky... When we used to play in 2016-17-18 we used to avoid dark elixir armys just to save dark elixir so we could upgrade our heroes. Obviously the game has became a lot easier. If u are consistently able to do 8 attacks everyday you should be able to upgrade your heroes quiet easily. I am an f2p player and have maxed 3 heroes already after the update has dropped. #pqjrroroq
I just rip off the bandaid with the warden and upgrade him asap with a new town hall, whether it’s books, hammers or just having him down for a week, what ever it takes it get it done quickly and out of the way
As a f2p player aside from gold pass here are my opinions. I want to use the minion prince but it’s a non stop grind to level him up. This is also slowing down progress for lower level players to have another hero to upgrade. I think it’s time for another builder at higher levels… Equipment - there’s way too many in the game. The pick wisely comment doesn’t sit well for me because as soon as I finished leveling there’s a balance change in the meta shifts.

@ mostly f2p. I buy gold on main but have a few alt accounts but I hear ya. Nevertheless I think the equipment leveling needs a bit of rework based off how often new things are being released.
I understand the way they want Heroes Esuipements to be a long time farm, but you can't say "you have to think wisely of which one you'll upgrade" you upgrade, simply because balance changes ARE changing the meta, you can't follow this that easily. At first eveyrone were playing on the king rage vial and gauntlet, now it's boots and soccer ball, it waz invisibility vial and frozen arrow on queen now it's mirror/giant arrow + healer puppet, eternal and healing tomes on warden, now rage+ fireball or rage+ eternal, and so on... You have for sure upgraded equipments that you're not using anymore AT ALL. There should be something to do at this level. You maxed champion's boots, but it's pretty sure they'll get nerfed, but how much ? To the point they're unusable ? then you'll loose an other 3 months of ore. There is something weird about all of this Edit : idk, something like you can retrieve 80% of all the ores you used on an equipment to put it on something else, idk, but make this smoother than this
When things get nerffed it just shows how rubbish the players who relied on them are nothing is unusable it’s just this game is no longer about skill instead less than average players just 3 starting with brain dead attacks

Picking equipment wisely is fine and dandy when they’re changing the specs as we go! Buffs and nerfs to equipment make this statement pretty condescending, “oh, you didn’t choose wisely, bad on you, oops!”
all equipment is still usable that have been nerfed, and they are in meta. Only difference is earthquake boots because a must use on the king along with spikey ball, but spikey ball was already a must have

i don’t really know how all the mechanics would work, but i think a spellcaster hero would be interesting. i think it would have to have two abilities. it would be a support-class hero, but instead of having aura effects, it would act more like a spell tower, throwing the spell. like the warden, it would have to have a medium or low dps. each spell would be a different equipment, and it might take a bit of work to make it a balanced hero, but it would allow us to upgrade the warden while still being new and interesting.
6:12 They are surprised..but previously we didn't have to upgrade anything to upgrade a hero to new townhall level just the townhall But I think the main problem arises when you upgrade to th 13 or others, you have hero boost but alas you can't use royal champion because your hero hall not upgraded, previously to unlock a new hero it was None time , so you can utilize the boost but now you can't Reply others what you think 🤔💬
As a th13 myself, this was a pain. I was only able to use rc right away bc I used a hammer on the hero hall. I think the hero hall should only have one level but how many heroes u can have and what level u can upgrade them to depends on ur th
@Edotty2Hotty yes I also think that it should be kept at level 1 You have to use a hammer and that means on another key upgrade you will not be able to use hammer , that's not good . And free to play player don't used to have a stack of hammer
If a new hero is coming to the game, the daily star bonus gems should definitely be increased and star gems should be added, I have not yet been able to max level any epic equipment except fireboll.
It is okay. This game is a progressive game since the time it is release. Dont need to rush to max your equipment. I am TH 16 and not even max once of my epics, but it still works like nothing wrong.
Also the higher your league is the more ores you can obtain plus the wars you participate in. I personally have a f2p th 17 and maxed 3 epics and the rest of the equipment that I use. It took a lot of time to do but it really just takes patience.
i came back 6 months ago, as a townhall 13 (im now th15) and I had to place and build the black smith from scratch with all lvl 1 equipment, and I literally have like 7 equipment maxed, 6 are common, and 1 is an epic lvl 18 (so 6 maxed ,and 1 epic lvl 18). How do you only have 1 equipment maxed?
@@xalovaid3693 the difference between all lvl 18 equip in your army attack, and all lvl 10s is astounding. You dont know what your talking about with this comment. You 100% need you equip to atleast lvl 18 to be able to do any real damage in high up fights. Notice how you said "im th16 and not even max one of my epics", and not "im th16 and not even max one of my equip". This is because having almost all of your equip to lvl 18 is a must. Ya maybe you dont need every epic lvl 27, but you do need them lvl18. Im in a good spot now equip wise, but I came back 6 months ago at townhall 13, and ore didnt exist in the game when i played, so when I came back i had to build black smith from scratch, and all my equip was at lvl 1. It was terrible trying to get even with people. Finally have hydra army with atleast all lvl 18 equip, so Im not complaining now, but supercell really does need to do something for returning players in the ore department
The single most important thing to be balanced and is realistically doable is the shiny ores storage being limited to 50k. This is getting stupid, we are full all the time while we farm other ores like glowy and starry and then once you need them, they just disappear.
Clash also needs to be Starry Ore more obtainable. It doesn't make sense to have Epic Hero Equipment if we don't obtain the resources to upgrade it unless we buy it via medals and /or gems....
Honestly I would like to see something like a very long range low damage hero like the battle ship from the builder base but more usable I am thinking a ground thor or aquaman style hero that quakes or electrocutes multiple buildings slowly from a far range , used like the flameflinger maybe
Itzu imo it will be very interesting to have a hero that doesn't do any damage and is only a support hero. That will divide our heroes into all 4 Classes: 1) Kill Squad type hero/ Solo Units: Queen, king and Royal Champion are heroes that only focus on themselves and don't directly support the army. 2) More Kill Squad type and Less Support type: Minion Prince helps entire army with it's dark orb ability but it's short lasting. 3) More Support and Less Solo unit: This includes the warden which usually helps entire army with Auras and Tomes and does less damage work. 4) Support Type: This category would only have passive assistance and not do any damage themselves. This would also help with the 4 hero cap as we will only be allowed 1 hero of every type.
I would be very happy if they decided to offer new ways to customize hard mode. This way, any type of player could choose the level of difficulty which his more suitable according to his ability. This could also bring back to proper life the low th competitive scene: rn, lower ths are too easy even with lots of caps and bans, which obviously ruin the experience
that's a bit of a stretch, but before that, we definitely need to apply hard mode in the multiplayer first. Current hard mode is only for FC and FW, which for many non-pro players is very unattractive because doing FC over and over is boring.
My biggest issue right now is this: The cost of hero upgrades didn't drastically change after they added equipment - and now half your stat boosts come from the equipment instead of the levels, yet the levels cost virtually the same. I think they need to HALF the cost of hero levels across the board - if they're gonna add more and more heroes, it is going to get very out of hand to upgrade heroes. I can't even upgrade 2 heroes with a full storage of Dark Elixir at Town Hall 17, A FULL STORAGE, and the hero levels barely grant the stat boosts they used to - I upgrade them less often because the equipment levels matter the most even for the stats. More issues I have: I also think there needs to be more avenues to grind for ores for heroes - I think there should be more bonuses to hit, like maybe have war win bonuses award bonus ore rewards at the end of the clan war/ CWL. The hero hall needs to be cut in cost and time DRASTICALLY - the goal post for upgrading heroes has been moved because of its addition. I don't mind it costing resources and time - just the duration and cost are too high. I am really enjoying the game overall lately - I've been playing for a while and took a hiatus after TH12 came out and came back after TH14 came out. The game definitely feels like it has more depth and quality now and I really enjoy strategizing in Legends League and with my base layouts. These core issues need to be fixed for the casual player base though - the game needs the casual player base to thrive for the more dedicated player base to thrive too.
I hope they make an item to transfer hero equipment levels. Even if it’s just between a single heroes equipment. As a f2p or low spender it feels like you are locked into only a couple pieces of equipment for each hero with no chance for flexibility or diversity of attacks with different equipment needs.
I mean, feeling locked on certain equipment kinda rest on our demand rather than actually fairness isnt it? What I mean, even with limited decent equipment, as long we did fine, that all matters. The be able to flexibly choose whatever we want is bonus.
Epic equipments are going to continue to be a problem unless they create better access to starry ores. Even if you buy event passes there is still way too little to get all of the Epics maxxed.
They could add a thing like Runescape’s bosses where you can adjust the damage/difficulty of the attack for more rewards. Say you just got to a new th, you could set the attack difficulty a bit easier for less loot. Later on as you progress, you can increase the enemy base damage/difficulty for more loot. Basically higher difficulty better loot. If you’re putting it on easier difficulty then obviously you’d need more attacks to make up the difference.
I think the blacksmith building is redundant now that there's a hero hall. It makes sense to upgrade the hero hall if you want to unlock new hero, hero equipments, and ore capacity. Rather than upgrading two different buildings, they should rid the blacksmith building and make the hero hall a one-stop shop for all the hero upgrades including equipments.
Does this video have any new info? Only thing I heard is that someday in the future they will add another hero. Not exactly a surprise. Was hoping for dates of new equip/defense lvls?
I still think a mechanic where you can get a complete refund on ores for a single equipment for a heavy price once and a while would be good. It would allow you to max out and try equipment easier.
@ArithmeticSamurai yes that's good some percentage refund is needed For example when the gauntlet came first it was Massive , so I tried hard and maxed it but later it became week , but as I invested and spiky ball is not leveled up so I need to use gauntlet . So if they a percentage refund will be good Now boots is powerful, I have upgraded it to lvl 17 , I will not upgrade after 20 as I knew after Nerf it may not be much useful . Now I don't upgrade epic equipment above 20 , because main cause is ores and also may be nerfed at any time
I agree with the equipment problem. It’s suppose to take long is what they said. So more equipment means we have to pick wisely and focus on what we are using atm because it’s working with our Troop Composition. However, what they fail to mention and or consider. When we do that. The often do Nerfs and Buffs along the way which changes what’s META currently. Then we adjust and find a new Troop Composition to use. That affects what equipment we have to use. Making what we spent all our Ores on and now almost useless for the near future. It feels like switch and bait. We are forced to change our equipment after we dumped all our Ores on what was once working before the Troops Nerfs and Buffs. It’s aggravating. The Ore Economy is not where it needs to be to keep up with the changes in my opinion.
They either need to make heroes usable while being researched at the hero hall for upgrading of levels.... Or either they need to make lesser levels like 1 to 2 per town hall. The farm and grinding is becoming way too boring, you can't even do war or attack properly without heroes, cannot try out different combos either. The reason I quit last time was because of this, just upgrading heroes and grind, not using them for a significant amount of time.
Would love a dedicated support or tank hero that doesn’t just automatically win the attack through sheer damage. I get that Clash is a timed game, but I would love a hero that does no damage itself.
If they keep adding more heroes, then more than just the Grand Warden needs to be upgradeable with regular elixir. As it is between 4 heroes, a lot of pets and lab research, you end up with far more elixir you don't know what to do with than you have dark elixir. Most of the time you're looking for someone to attack, you see people that have a lot of elixir, but not much gold or dark elixir. Those 3 resources have been unbalanced in the game for a long time, ever since they took away the resource requirements for building your troops for battle.
actually, in the pass upgrading the townhall enables higher level heros. That was perfect. There is no need to add a hero hall that needs to be upgraded. Having a hero hall to manage all the heros is acceptable as long as its not needed to be upgraded as well.
3:09 good i think, for those who that keep saying th16 is defenseless th17 is weak, just give them some serious mode, the townhall itself do 3k dps and cover all the map, giga bomb do 17k damage, multi archer towers can shoot 30 targets, ricocet cannon can hit 30 tiles. then i hope they happy with it, no more complaining etc
@iTzu, try any army combination with 11 skeleton spells, no need CC. You will be surprised with how good it actually is. The skelly placed to distract major defense like fire pigs, monolith, single inferno, scatter, even ric canon. I tried with mass dragons and can 3 stars my own base hard mode under 2 mins
My main issue with the game is equipment, one big issue i see is that it does not affect war matchmaking so me a very high level town hall 17 with horrible equipment because i took a big break for 6 months has no chance against a good equipment town hall 17, the other thing is it is just way to powerfull it make townhalls 1-15 a sweap a guaranteed 3 star .
Anything on builder base and clan capital base. Ive maxed out bb months ago and its just sitting there giving few gems from gem mine. Also as a pure ftp clan of about 40 active members we've completely maxed out entire capital base. Theres nothing to do there. So are there any new builder hall or a new district or level 5 of 2 existing districts coming soon?
Heroes having too many levels and taking way too long to upgrade, then on top of that they make it even longer by adding another gate as the heroes used to be gated by the town hall. After 11 years of it being this way and then changing it to make the longest cumulative upgrades take even longer is why the community hates it. The functionality of the hero hall is great, I actually really like it.
I think on this new events comming with new equipments they should bring 2 medals: one for the main event as books, new eq, runes, etc. and the other medals for older equipments so you can get at least 2 for each event (one new and other by choice) so people can get all of them without spending so much gems
Here I continued playing back in 2023's January, started as a maxed out th12 and here I'm today almost maxed at th15 except heroes (tho they are maxed for th14 I'm upgrading my warden with the book we get from the free pass) and lab for the equipments as a f2p I'm happy with what I have almost every commons are maxed having king's gauntlet and warden's fireball sitting at level 24 and level 18 rocket spear for RC never upgraded Queen's epic because i find her's GA with HP combo best for me.
I wonder if they have ever thought about a respec option. Like in RPG’s where you can change the values of certain passives and skills for a cost. Unfortunately, I am sure this would cause another issue with pay to win features included in the game. Immediately though I think of being able to respec equipment levels, with an unannounced currency or gems or an insane amount of loot or whatever. I am curious what you think Itzu.
I think it makes sense having to upgrade the Hero Hall, but the Devs should have made that more apparent before releasing The Minion Prince. Now my Miniom Prince is in Lvl 50's at TH 15, so he's not viable to use..... it would have been nice to know that we need to upgrade our Hero Hall so our Minion Prince wouldn't be stuck at previous TH stats....
Also for a new hero I think a tank would make the most sense considering it will likely be low level. It would be the easiest to balance and the barb king is a tank but more balanced tank. I think it will be like golem less attack and more defensive.
For me is the scrapped Valkyrie Queen Or the mighty minor from clash Royale and add in a feature where you can swap how he moves stays above ground all the time or have him work like a normal miner attacking above ground and moving undercrowd and perhaps allow the option to use a shovel like the normal miner or his drill that he normally uses
My biggest issue with new heros is leveling them. I myself am semi rushed, mostly my heros are a bit lower then they should be, and I have 2 builders always on my heros non stop all the time, and I can't keep up.
I like this idea. It's just so much time to upgrade them all. Adding extra heroes is nice but it means you need to upgrade another hero haha.. If we need to upgrade the hero hall then maybe it should act like the builder for upgrading heroes
ive played many games that have added different difficulty's and it has severe drawbacks. i really hope they dont invest in hardmode i really know that its bad to separate the playerbase
THe game need more ores , the main issue with equipment is that it ruins attack strategies if i want to try aa new and fun attack i saw online in the past the only issue might be that one of your troops is underlevel but now you need to have the right equipment at a high level and soon the right hero a high level
I hvent even bothered leveling up the electro boots because im afraid it'll be nerfed to oblivion, also not happy that the equipment I've maxed for minion price will probably be a waste once more equipment is added to the game.
The multiple difficulties I don't like. Not because it's too hard or anything like that but it's too hard to keep track with equipment like the fireball and giant arrow

I have an idea. It is a tank type hero. A magical robot. I have also thought about its two equipment. 1st one is when deployed, it will have an additional 2nd deployment zone within a range of 8. Where it will roll from 1st place to 2nd place. Then it will work like barbarian king. 2nd equipment is when it dies, it will explode and do damage to surrounding areas or buildings. What do you think?
Maybe supercell can add a New builder that can only upgrade heros thereby reducing the amount of time put in upgrading the heros especially with new hero introductions the timeing is going to increase exponentially, which could be a nightmare for newer players
they should bring events to the game every month, even if there is no new epic equipment, they should include the epic equipment that came before in the event, so that new players get the equipment. and the players who get the equipment can get ore instead of equipment.
Adding more heroes and equipments while not increasing the amount of ore we can acquire isn't a good idea. It incentivises rushing to get new equipment and also forces us to only use the same attack strategy that works with the specific equipment we have uograded. This will definitely lead to burnout.
How can it be better getting new hero instade of using heroes while upgrading. You can't play fireball attacks without warden. You can't queen walk o charge without queen. Can't even use queen's equipment with other heroes.
We don't need "10 different difficulty modes," like you said, but I think 3 modes is a good idea. Here is what I would like: Standard mode: How the game is right now or TH16 difficulty. Even casual players should be able to 3 star frequently. This should apply in all multiplayer, all regular wars, and CWL below Champion league. Hard mode: Hard mode difficulty right now is good. Even the above-average player can't consistently 3 star, but the very elite players can. This should be implemented in Champion 2 and 3 CWL and Legend League below 6k trophies. E-Sports mode: Brutally difficult...as hard or even harder than TH15. Even the very elite players cannot consistently 3 star -- meaning 3 stars should feel earned and rewarding. This should be implemented in Champion 1 CWL and Legend League above 6k trophies. All E-sports tournaments and World Championships should use this mode.
Some random guy comes with all invi electro boot , and hold down 👇🏻 1 finger in a place ther with other 1 finger he select troops . Boom 3 star . No funnel , no hero placement , only 1 tile spam
Itzu, in my opinion the worst think is not the 1500 gems to buy an epic equipment because to get 1500 gems I can get them in 2 months or one and a half ( as a f2p) but to max an epic eq I will need more than 2 months to bring it in a playable level. Unfortunately I can't grind in the top spots because of my eq that they are not leve max as the others. Last how can I be clever to spend my Ores, when something is good then I see I spend my ores and the next day supercell are doing a balance change. WE NEED MORE ORES 😢😢
th17 is rly weak atm, they need to drop those new defense levels, xbows, scatters, infernos asap. dont even need to abuse electroboots and spam armies triple, seems like eboot walk is a better method to cheese hard mode, not even needed in standard
The hero hall upgrade I can bear but if clash dev team referenced the Lab when designing obviously we might need a wizard or 2 inside the hero hall as well since the lab use the same mechanics instead of builders anymore right?
There has been just a single update for the nerfs and buffs and all it did was make the less used equipments more usable. The nerfs didn't make any equipment that weak that one would have to stop using them, don't know why everyone still keeps crying about the nerfs.

That logic doesn’t work. They drive demand for an epic that requires a use of limited resources (that also have a restrictive storage) and then can bait and switch players with it. Balance is fine but if they go this route players should be given the option to refund resources in order to switch gears when the balance inevitably comes there way
I think heroes taking a builder AND not being able to be used whilst upgrading is too much of a penalty. If they want to add more they need to at least give us another builder
they should make a one time ore refund, i have a level 21 lavaloon for my warden and i never use it so i would love to get all the ore back and upgrade something else
Nerfing equipments to me is completely unacceptable as an option considering the necessary investment of time and resources. Defenses should be buffed, other equipment buffed, even the base damage values of the heroes should be nerfed before equipments are touched in any negative capacity. There is going to be massive backlash if meta equipment that free to play players took forever to upgrade gets nerfed to the ground.
Well ... i understand pro players want a challenge but me and my clan mates we are here only to lvl up our base and play 1 or 2 hour a day so we don't really want the game be harder for us . Most th 17th cant 3 star th16 still so it really don't need to be harder
Hey itzu I'm just wanting an air troops like apprentice warden to boost ho of air troops. Balloons are dying too quickly in this meta. If supercell can give us a air troops to assist them we can use warden with heal tome. I think it will again revive lalo attacks much more.

More than anything m surprised why no one has issues with game being so easy for lower ths. Any random strat give three stars and there is no point in building strong bases or upgrading defenses.
Add more builder 😅😅😅and more troops for th17...maybe we can use the hero when upgrading them.. because what is the use of hero altar if we upgrading the hero but we can't use it...or...we can upgrade the hero but not using a builder...like the troops...add also spell on th17
I also think you should be able to get refund 100% of ores used on equipment SC decides to change on us. While I completely understand that balance changes are necessary and are a good thing it still doesn’t change the fact that it’s extremely misleading to sell packs so we can rush our hero’s to that level only for SC to nerf it into the ground frankly it’s shady business and personally I’m not putting anymore cash into the game because we have no form of recourse to these “balance changes” my money was already taken…

They lower the cost every year, and it's very easy to be in legend league at th12

I understand the way they want Heroes Esuipements to be a long time farm, but you can't say "you have to think wisely of which one you'll upgrade" you upgrade, simply because balance changes ARE changing the meta, you can't follow this that easily. At first eveyrone were playing on the king rage vial and gauntlet, now it's boots and soccer ball, it waz invisibility vial and frozen arrow on queen now it's mirror/giant arrow + healer puppet, eternal and healing tomes on warden, now rage+ fireball or rage+ eternal, and so on... You have for sure upgraded equipments that you're not using anymore AT ALL. There should be something to do at this level.
You maxed champion's boots, but it's pretty sure they'll get nerfed, but how much ? To the point they're unusable ? then you'll loose an other 3 months of ore. There is something weird about all of this
Edit : idk, something like you can retrieve 80% of all the ores you used on an equipment to put it on something else, idk, but make this smoother than this

all equipment is still usable that have been nerfed, and they are in meta. Only difference is earthquake boots because a must use on the king along with spikey ball, but spikey ball was already a must have

i don’t really know how all the mechanics would work, but i think a spellcaster hero would be interesting. i think it would have to have two abilities. it would be a support-class hero, but instead of having aura effects, it would act more like a spell tower, throwing the spell. like the warden, it would have to have a medium or low dps. each spell would be a different equipment, and it might take a bit of work to make it a balanced hero, but it would allow us to upgrade the warden while still being new and interesting.

As a th13 myself, this was a pain. I was only able to use rc right away bc I used a hammer on the hero hall. I think the hero hall should only have one level but how many heroes u can have and what level u can upgrade them to depends on ur th

If a new hero is coming to the game, the daily star bonus gems should definitely be increased and star gems should be added, I have not yet been able to max level any epic equipment except fireboll.
It is okay. This game is a progressive game since the time it is release. Dont need to rush to max your equipment. I am TH 16 and not even max once of my epics, but it still works like nothing wrong.
Also the higher your league is the more ores you can obtain plus the wars you participate in. I personally have a f2p th 17 and maxed 3 epics and the rest of the equipment that I use. It took a lot of time to do but it really just takes patience.
i came back 6 months ago, as a townhall 13 (im now th15) and I had to place and build the black smith from scratch with all lvl 1 equipment, and I literally have like 7 equipment maxed, 6 are common, and 1 is an epic lvl 18 (so 6 maxed ,and 1 epic lvl 18). How do you only have 1 equipment maxed?

Notice how you said "im th16 and not even max one of my epics", and not "im th16 and not even max one of my equip". This is because having almost all of your equip to lvl 18 is a must. Ya maybe you dont need every epic lvl 27, but you do need them lvl18.
Im in a good spot now equip wise, but I came back 6 months ago at townhall 13, and ore didnt exist in the game when i played, so when I came back i had to build black smith from scratch, and all my equip was at lvl 1. It was terrible trying to get even with people. Finally have hydra army with atleast all lvl 18 equip, so Im not complaining now, but supercell really does need to do something for returning players in the ore department
The single most important thing to be balanced and is realistically doable is the shiny ores storage being limited to 50k.
This is getting stupid, we are full all the time while we farm other ores like glowy and starry and then once you need them, they just disappear.
Valkyrie princess/queen as a attacking hero but a little bit different then archer queen as it can deal splash damage or something like that
Clash also needs to be Starry Ore more obtainable. It doesn't make sense to have Epic Hero Equipment if we don't obtain the resources to upgrade it unless we buy it via medals and /or gems....

Itzu imo it will be very interesting to have a hero that doesn't do any damage and is only a support hero. That will divide our heroes into all 4 Classes:
1) Kill Squad type hero/ Solo Units: Queen, king and Royal Champion are heroes that only focus on themselves and don't directly support the army.
2) More Kill Squad type and Less Support type: Minion Prince helps entire army with it's dark orb ability but it's short lasting.
3) More Support and Less Solo unit: This includes the warden which usually helps entire army with Auras and Tomes and does less damage work.
4) Support Type: This category would only have passive assistance and not do any damage themselves.
This would also help with the 4 hero cap as we will only be allowed 1 hero of every type.
I would be very happy if they decided to offer new ways to customize hard mode. This way, any type of player could choose the level of difficulty which his more suitable according to his ability. This could also bring back to proper life the low th competitive scene: rn, lower ths are too easy even with lots of caps and bans, which obviously ruin the experience
All TH’s are easy now. But I agree 100% with the rest.
that's a bit of a stretch, but before that, we definitely need to apply hard mode in the multiplayer first.
Current hard mode is only for FC and FW, which for many non-pro players is very unattractive because doing FC over and over is boring.
My biggest issue right now is this:
The cost of hero upgrades didn't drastically change after they added equipment - and now half your stat boosts come from the equipment instead of the levels, yet the levels cost virtually the same.
I think they need to HALF the cost of hero levels across the board - if they're gonna add more and more heroes, it is going to get very out of hand to upgrade heroes. I can't even upgrade 2 heroes with a full storage of Dark Elixir at Town Hall 17, A FULL STORAGE, and the hero levels barely grant the stat boosts they used to - I upgrade them less often because the equipment levels matter the most even for the stats.

I also think there needs to be more avenues to grind for ores for heroes - I think there should be more bonuses to hit, like maybe have war win bonuses award bonus ore rewards at the end of the clan war/ CWL.
The hero hall needs to be cut in cost and time DRASTICALLY - the goal post for upgrading heroes has been moved because of its addition. I don't mind it costing resources and time - just the duration and cost are too high.
I am really enjoying the game overall lately - I've been playing for a while and took a hiatus after TH12 came out and came back after TH14 came out. The game definitely feels like it has more depth and quality now and I really enjoy strategizing in Legends League and with my base layouts.
These core issues need to be fixed for the casual player base though - the game needs the casual player base to thrive for the more dedicated player base to thrive too.
I hope they make an item to transfer hero equipment levels. Even if it’s just between a single heroes equipment. As a f2p or low spender it feels like you are locked into only a couple pieces of equipment for each hero with no chance for flexibility or diversity of attacks with different equipment needs.
It is okay tho? We used for years sticking to old heroes equipment and just recently they add the variety.

What I mean, even with limited decent equipment, as long we did fine, that all matters. The be able to flexibly choose whatever we want is bonus.
Epic equipments are going to continue to be a problem unless they create better access to starry ores. Even if you buy event passes there is still way too little to get all of the Epics maxxed.
They could add a thing like Runescape’s bosses where you can adjust the damage/difficulty of the attack for more rewards. Say you just got to a new th, you could set the attack difficulty a bit easier for less loot. Later on as you progress, you can increase the enemy base damage/difficulty for more loot.
Basically higher difficulty better loot. If you’re putting it on easier difficulty then obviously you’d need more attacks to make up the difference.
I think the blacksmith building is redundant now that there's a hero hall. It makes sense to upgrade the hero hall if you want to unlock new hero, hero equipments, and ore capacity. Rather than upgrading two different buildings, they should rid the blacksmith building and make the hero hall a one-stop shop for all the hero upgrades including equipments.
Does this video have any new info? Only thing I heard is that someday in the future they will add another hero. Not exactly a surprise.

I still think a mechanic where you can get a complete refund on ores for a single equipment for a heavy price once and a while would be good. It would allow you to max out and try equipment easier.
Maybe a 10% ore penalty for downgrading your equipment levels

For example when the gauntlet came first it was Massive , so I tried hard and maxed it but later it became week , but as I invested and spiky ball is not leveled up so I need to use gauntlet .

Now boots is powerful, I have upgraded it to lvl 17 , I will not upgrade after 20 as I knew after Nerf it may not be much useful . Now I don't upgrade epic equipment above 20 , because main cause is ores and also may be nerfed at any time
I agree with the equipment problem. It’s suppose to take long is what they said. So more equipment means we have to pick wisely and focus on what we are using atm because it’s working with our Troop Composition. However, what they fail to mention and or consider. When we do that. The often do Nerfs and Buffs along the way which changes what’s META currently. Then we adjust and find a new Troop Composition to use. That affects what equipment we have to use. Making what we spent all our Ores on and now almost useless for the near future. It feels like switch and bait. We are forced to change our equipment after we dumped all our Ores on what was once working before the Troops Nerfs and Buffs. It’s aggravating. The Ore Economy is not where it needs to be to keep up with the changes in my opinion.
They either need to make heroes usable while being researched at the hero hall for upgrading of levels....
Or either they need to make lesser levels like 1 to 2 per town hall.
The farm and grinding is becoming way too boring, you can't even do war or attack properly without heroes, cannot try out different combos either.
The reason I quit last time was because of this, just upgrading heroes and grind, not using them for a significant amount of time.
Would love a dedicated support or tank hero that doesn’t just automatically win the attack through sheer damage. I get that Clash is a timed game, but I would love a hero that does no damage itself.
If they keep adding more heroes, then more than just the Grand Warden needs to be upgradeable with regular elixir. As it is between 4 heroes, a lot of pets and lab research, you end up with far more elixir you don't know what to do with than you have dark elixir. Most of the time you're looking for someone to attack, you see people that have a lot of elixir, but not much gold or dark elixir. Those 3 resources have been unbalanced in the game for a long time, ever since they took away the resource requirements for building your troops for battle.
I assume these additional hero options will be only for th17 so it means nothing to a forever th9 ,just a cash grab from gemmers ,pathetic as always
actually, in the pass upgrading the townhall enables higher level heros. That was perfect. There is no need to add a hero hall that needs to be upgraded. Having a hero hall to manage all the heros is acceptable as long as its not needed to be upgraded as well.
3:09 good i think, for those who that keep saying th16 is defenseless th17 is weak, just give them some serious mode, the townhall itself do 3k dps and cover all the map, giga bomb do 17k damage, multi archer towers can shoot 30 targets, ricocet cannon can hit 30 tiles. then i hope they happy with it, no more complaining etc

@iTzu, try any army combination with 11 skeleton spells, no need CC. You will be surprised with how good it actually is. The skelly placed to distract major defense like fire pigs, monolith, single inferno, scatter, even ric canon. I tried with mass dragons and can 3 stars my own base hard mode under 2 mins
My main issue with the game is equipment, one big issue i see is that it does not affect war matchmaking so me a very high level town hall 17 with horrible equipment because i took a big break for 6 months has no chance against a good equipment town hall 17, the other thing is it is just way to powerfull it make townhalls 1-15 a sweap a guaranteed 3 star .

Anything on builder base and clan capital base. Ive maxed out bb months ago and its just sitting there giving few gems from gem mine. Also as a pure ftp clan of about 40 active members we've completely maxed out entire capital base. Theres nothing to do there. So are there any new builder hall or a new district or level 5 of 2 existing districts coming soon?
Heroes having too many levels and taking way too long to upgrade, then on top of that they make it even longer by adding another gate as the heroes used to be gated by the town hall. After 11 years of it being this way and then changing it to make the longest cumulative upgrades take even longer is why the community hates it. The functionality of the hero hall is great, I actually really like it.
I think on this new events comming with new equipments they should bring 2 medals: one for the main event as books, new eq, runes, etc. and the other medals for older equipments so you can get at least 2 for each event (one new and other by choice) so people can get all of them without spending so much gems
Here I continued playing back in 2023's January, started as a maxed out th12 and here I'm today almost maxed at th15 except heroes (tho they are maxed for th14 I'm upgrading my warden with the book we get from the free pass) and lab for the equipments as a f2p I'm happy with what I have almost every commons are maxed having king's gauntlet and warden's fireball sitting at level 24 and level 18 rocket spear for RC never upgraded Queen's epic because i find her's GA with HP combo best for me.
I wonder if they have ever thought about a respec option. Like in RPG’s where you can change the values of certain passives and skills for a cost. Unfortunately, I am sure this would cause another issue with pay to win features included in the game. Immediately though I think of being able to respec equipment levels, with an unannounced currency or gems or an insane amount of loot or whatever. I am curious what you think Itzu.

I think it makes sense having to upgrade the Hero Hall, but the Devs should have made that more apparent before releasing The Minion Prince. Now my Miniom Prince is in Lvl 50's at TH 15, so he's not viable to use..... it would have been nice to know that we need to upgrade our Hero Hall so our Minion Prince wouldn't be stuck at previous TH stats....
Also for a new hero I think a tank would make the most sense considering it will likely be low level. It would be the easiest to balance and the barb king is a tank but more balanced tank. I think it will be like golem less attack and more defensive.

My biggest issue with new heros is leveling them. I myself am semi rushed, mostly my heros are a bit lower then they should be, and I have 2 builders always on my heros non stop all the time, and I can't keep up.
Yeah, people dont complain too much when troops took long to upgrade but complain when it is the case with hero equipment.
If they will add another hero/heroes in the future, at this point you should not use builders on upgrading them anymore.

THe game need more ores , the main issue with equipment is that it ruins attack strategies if i want to try aa new and fun attack i saw online in the past the only issue might be that one of your troops is underlevel but now you need to have the right equipment at a high level and soon the right hero a high level

I have an idea. It is a tank type hero. A magical robot. I have also thought about its two equipment. 1st one is when deployed, it will have an additional 2nd deployment zone within a range of 8. Where it will roll from 1st place to 2nd place. Then it will work like barbarian king. 2nd equipment is when it dies, it will explode and do damage to surrounding areas or buildings. What do you think?
Maybe supercell can add a New builder that can only upgrade heros thereby reducing the amount of time put in upgrading the heros especially with new hero introductions the timeing is going to increase exponentially, which could be a nightmare for newer players

Adding more heroes and equipments while not increasing the amount of ore we can acquire isn't a good idea. It incentivises rushing to get new equipment and also forces us to only use the same attack strategy that works with the specific equipment we have uograded. This will definitely lead to burnout.

How can it be better getting new hero instade of using heroes while upgrading. You can't play fireball attacks without warden. You can't queen walk o charge without queen. Can't even use queen's equipment with other heroes.
We don't need "10 different difficulty modes," like you said, but I think 3 modes is a good idea. Here is what I would like:
Standard mode: How the game is right now or TH16 difficulty. Even casual players should be able to 3 star frequently. This should apply in all multiplayer, all regular wars, and CWL below Champion league.
Hard mode: Hard mode difficulty right now is good. Even the above-average player can't consistently 3 star, but the very elite players can. This should be implemented in Champion 2 and 3 CWL and Legend League below 6k trophies.
E-Sports mode: Brutally difficult...as hard or even harder than TH15. Even the very elite players cannot consistently 3 star -- meaning 3 stars should feel earned and rewarding. This should be implemented in Champion 1 CWL and Legend League above 6k trophies. All E-sports tournaments and World Championships should use this mode.
Some random guy comes with all invi electro boot , and hold down 👇🏻 1 finger in a place ther with other 1 finger he select troops . Boom 3 star . No funnel , no hero placement , only 1 tile spam

Itzu, in my opinion the worst think is not the 1500 gems to buy an epic equipment because to get 1500 gems I can get them in 2 months or one and a half ( as a f2p) but to max an epic eq I will need more than 2 months to bring it in a playable level. Unfortunately I can't grind in the top spots because of my eq that they are not leve max as the others. Last how can I be clever to spend my Ores, when something is good then I see I spend my ores and the next day supercell are doing a balance change. WE NEED MORE ORES 😢😢
th17 is rly weak atm, they need to drop those new defense levels, xbows, scatters, infernos asap. dont even need to abuse electroboots and spam armies triple, seems like eboot walk is a better method to cheese hard mode, not even needed in standard

There has been just a single update for the nerfs and buffs and all it did was make the less used equipments more usable. The nerfs didn't make any equipment that weak that one would have to stop using them, don't know why everyone still keeps crying about the nerfs.
We're investing a tremendous amount of ores to upgrade epic equipment. After a while, Supercell nerfed them. This is totally unacceptable.

That logic doesn’t work. They drive demand for an epic that requires a use of limited resources (that also have a restrictive storage) and then can bait and switch players with it. Balance is fine but if they go this route players should be given the option to refund resources in order to switch gears when the balance inevitably comes there way
I think heroes taking a builder AND not being able to be used whilst upgrading is too much of a penalty. If they want to add more they need to at least give us another builder
they should make a one time ore refund, i have a level 21 lavaloon for my warden and i never use it so i would love to get all the ore back and upgrade something else

Nerfing equipments to me is completely unacceptable as an option considering the necessary investment of time and resources. Defenses should be buffed, other equipment buffed, even the base damage values of the heroes should be nerfed before equipments are touched in any negative capacity. There is going to be massive backlash if meta equipment that free to play players took forever to upgrade gets nerfed to the ground.
Well ... i understand pro players want a challenge but me and my clan mates we are here only to lvl up our base and play 1 or 2 hour a day so we don't really want the game be harder for us . Most th 17th cant 3 star th16 still so it really don't need to be harder
Hey itzu I'm just wanting an air troops like apprentice warden to boost ho of air troops. Balloons are dying too quickly in this meta. If supercell can give us a air troops to assist them we can use warden with heal tome. I think it will again revive lalo attacks much more.

More than anything m surprised why no one has issues with game being so easy for lower ths. Any random strat give three stars and there is no point in building strong bases or upgrading defenses.

While I completely understand that balance changes are necessary and are a good thing it still doesn’t change the fact that it’s extremely misleading to sell packs so we can rush our hero’s to that level only for SC to nerf it into the ground frankly it’s shady business and personally I’m not putting anymore cash into the game because we have no form of recourse to these “balance changes” my money was already taken…
