Bang on.I am an Aquarius ascendant and i like living alone and i dont have any friends and i am happy.And i hate societal norms and restrictions and love to live with freedom.
Have you considered that one of the reasons we are lonely is because we don't go along with the crowd, and thus we don't fit in... thus we are always on the outside looking in.
It is cause we don't want to interract on a superficial level and talk stupidities. We prefer to stay at home, study, elaborate our own theories and further expose these new theories for the good sake of humanity.

At least unless like most of the people who are part of that crowd, we have ourselves therefore we'll never be truly lonely and by saying that I mean, we know who we really are...

Here’s what I would add about career: when I start a job, I learn it to bits, I’m precise and dedicated. I can achieve great results in short periods of time. I work on pure enthusiasm and when that gets noticeable, I get a promotion or a pay rise. But then the time comes when I learn it all, when I feel like there’s nothing more I can bring to this place and most importantly, there’s nothing the job can give me. So I quit without regrets. Usually 3-4 years and move on.

No! I can’t follow rules that I don’t feel benefit me. You keep saying we sit on a branch and saw it off from underneath us but it would be torture to stick with something I don’t like. I’d rather fall and hurt myself temporarily than sit and suffer in restriction forever. But I love this video. I’m an Aquarius ascendant and Aquarius moon btw. You’re the first astrologer I’ve heard that didn’t give up on an actual thorough depiction of our character and use the cliche “we’re weird” explanation. You actually see what’s going on. Lol

aquarius ascendant and i love my privacy. perfectly ok by myself listening to music reading watching movies. ok even traveling by myself. not so much a social person anymore. not even on any social media. i find it all a bit pointless. is that odd for an aquarius?
Not at all! I do everything by myself too! I work obsessively save money and go to another country for 3/4 weeks by myself and no one knows. No social media for me either haven’t had it since 2014.. But I love human beings at the same time but from a distance..

I just found out a few days ago the importance of my ascendant sign. As I wake up I seen the necessity to learn a little bit of astrology. To find out why my life goes certain way. I was born in December so I always watch Capricorn. Now thanks to my research of channels like this one. I learned I'm Aquarius Ascendant and that I have to watch this sign, my moon sign which is Cancer as well. More than anything we need more knowledge because Western society didn't taught us this.

Rising and ascendant are different things. In Western I'm pisces rising but in Vedic I'm aquarius rising. It will completely change the way you look at things. I suggest to get Vedic horoscope and find the actual ascendant for those who are using Western horoscope. Vedic horoscope gives you accurate readings than Western. Peace

But, Sun in aries is good. Bcoz of exalted sun, you are in good position in career, status. ascendent is what everyone sees and moon is how you feel and think, yes the moon in Aquarius will have most of these qualities, others may not see them as aquarians but they will feel like one.

The only thing I can disagree with is that Aquarius doesn’t let other people express and live as they want. If an Aquarius has a set idea of what is right for the collective, they will force it. They are like cult leaders. They want to convert people into their beliefs.
This is fanaticism then and the ones that do that, are literally doing what they hate for themselves so it doesn't make any sense but at least not every Aquarius ascendant is like that.

No. You're overthinking it. She made an error. There's nothing wrong with that. It was very clear that she was talking about the modes (Cardinal, Fixed, Mutable/Movable) of the Air signs and made a mistake. It's fine.

A great example of the above would be the sort of people who decide to buy an apartment in the middle of an iconic entertainment/live music & nightlife district & have the audacity to complain about & lobby for noise restrictions.
Or those who move into wilderness/habitat areas for a “tree change” and complain about the wildlife, cut down trees for the view & surround themselves with concrete, destroying ecosystems in the process.
I live to *destroy* such people & notions.
