We started the day from a place which is 15 kms from Uttarkashi and did night stay at a place called Bhiri. This is 12 km short of Guptkashi.

True - Bichoo kausa Bichuu
Bichchu ghaas is known as Sisno in Nepal. It is available aplenty in hilly regions. It is a rich source of Vitamin A and Iron. People cut and leave green Sisno to dry for 2 days. Then it is eaten as vegetable commonly mixed with potato or pumpkin. Dried powder of Sisno is recommended for diabetics and is sold at high prices in departmental stores.

Bicchu Ghass is called Sisnu in Sikkim which you saw and ate in your Sikkim tour (Episode 2, vegetable market tour and Hotel Shekmari). This is also consumed in Darjeeling hills and Nepal.

Bichu Ghass/Shushon/Kandali/Stinging nettle it's very nutritious and considered superfood.
Local also call it bal sudharak vati LOL for the very reason he been dancing.
Hisor/Hisur/Hisar is also know as Himalayan raspberries a breakfast for locals 😋

@@rainbowvibes9086 what they do is pick only top leaves of the plant which are very soft and don't have many spikes. Then they boil them and cook a sabji like green vegetables.

हरीश जी मेरी भी वचपन की बहुत tragic याद है बिच्छू घास की, मुझे कम से कम 2-3 दफा नैनीताल में बिच्छू घास का कांटा लगा था। ऐसा लगता था जैसे किसी जहरीले कीड़े ने काट लिया हो, नार्मल होने में 15-20 मिनट लगते थे।

भाई साहब हम पहाड़ीयों ने बचपन मे हम लोगों की बिछ्छू घास याने कडाली से ही मरम्मत याने पिटाई होतीं थी जैंसे माँ से कोई जीद कर ली या कहना नही माना तो ले दनादन कंंडाली की झाडी से पिटाई होती थी आप को देखा कन्डाली लगते तो अपना बचपन याद आ गया। कन्डाली याने बिछ्छू घास का साघ व सूप बहुत फायदेमंद होता है ठन्डी सीजन मे पीने खाने से अस्थमा की बीमारी मे फायदा करता है लेकिन गर्मी मे नहीं खाना चाहिए। क्योंकि बहुत गर्म होती है। गर्मी आने पर उसके पत्तों मे कीडे लग जाते है ।

This is not bichhu ghas, it is called Sisnu in Nepali. In Nepal we used as Cury (Dal), it is used as a medicine also, now a days Sisnu powder ( dry green leaf powder ) also available in Nepal, which is useful for diabetes patient.
